He wasn't going to meet up at some remote place away from people, that was for sure. An open space, enough exits and escape routes. An easy way to get out. Then he should be safe.

"Sora!" James shouted into the hangar, there was no way he was picking his way around the whole place looking for her. He had a clipboard in his hand, something he had never thought he'd hold seriously in his entire life.

When Yuki came trotting over he ruffled the dogs head with a grin. She never failed to make him smile.

"Scotch?" He shouted again, walking past the first few cars. "Are you in here?"

The meeting room was silent, save for the ticking of the clock on the wall. Only a young, blonde woman occupied the space. Well, to say she was young was a misnomer. She appeared young, like in her mid-twenties. But she was, in fact, much older than most of the people in this facility. She could be a grandmother to them, in fact. But they didn't know that, and they didn't need to know that. It was her business.

She was patient as she waited. There was nothing to do but sit and observe her surroundings. There wasn't much of note; it was like any other meeting space. That almost disappointed her. She would have loved something more exciting.

The sound of footsteps approaching caught her attention, and she turned her head towards the door. When it opened, she stood up to meet her new acquaintances. Her eyes were immediately drawn to the woman, the one she was most eager to meet.

As introductions were made, she held out her hand to firmly shake everyone's, though her eyes stayed on the woman in front of her. "Agent Taube," she said, only divulging her codename, "it's a pleasure to meet you."

Yuki's ears perked and nose twitched as she heard yelps coming from a distance. It was a familiar yelp coming from the same direction as the smell of biscuits. Nose to the ground the Shepard followed it to the archives. Nudging the door open, her head tilted at the small tail sticking out from under desk. (Yuki-POV cause why now XD)

"Well hello Yuki!" Maria beamed coming round the corner to find the dog with her head around the corner of the archive doors. "It looks like we have a visitor Barney." Maria said looking around and finally seeing the tail.

"What are you doing under there!" She walked over but as she got close Barney had fished out the rope he was trying to get, as soon as he spotted Yuki his tail started wagging at the speed of light and he went charging over.

Benji was lost in a world of his own, fingers flying over his keyboard, so he didn’t hear the door opening or the sound of footsteps behind him. It was only when he sensed a presence behind him that he almost jumped out of his skin. 

“Christ...” Relief came over him when he recognised the woman standing there, and he chuckled. “One of the cons of working in this area... People are too bloody stealthy. My heart can’t take it.” Running a hand over his hair, Benji smiled at Scotch and turned to face her fully. “What can I do for you?”

What if they kissed? Huck + Sora

There had always been this thing between them, him and Sora. Joe was his best friend and god he hated to think what he would think but Huck couldn't deny the feelings that had grown for her.

The fact she was a statesman, an agent with a liquors name was so fitting. She was this fireball, a delicious burn at the back of his throat and he always went back for more. Like alcohol she made him weak, though he wouldn't admit that to anyone, not even Joe, barely even himself.

He was tired though, he was tired of seeing her with other agents and feeling that pull in his chest, a pull that he had no real right to feel, a jealousy that he had no right to feel. He certainly didn't have a right to feel jealous of the way she smiled at Cador, how settled she seemed here. It was crazy, but he'd give up everything and move here for her if he had too.

At the sound of her voice behind him, Huck finished the drink in his glass and turned to face her. God she looked beautiful in that black dress, but he felt like he could still see the imprint of Cador's hand at her waist where they'd been dancing.

"What are you doing out here? Don't tell me you think you're too old for parties now." Sora said marching towards him. "Come on, I think I convinced them to put some Earth, Wind and Fire on." She grabbed his hand, attempting to drag him back inside.

"Sora-" Huck was just, he was frozen, he felt at an impasse and maybe it was the drink but he felt if he didn't do something now he might as well go back to America, or Joe's and drown his sorrows.

"Huck?" Sora was looking at him worriedly.

Huck closed the distance between them, brushed a strand of hair from her face, waiting for her to move, when she didn't he cupped her chin, tilted her face gently and leaned in.

They'd kissed before, a few times actually, drunk or missions or stupid dares but this was different. There was a heat to this, a gentle kindling that if pressed could set ablaze. Feeling no resistance Huck slid his free hand around the small of her back and pulled Sora closer, why did it always feel like she fit so perfectly against him?
