Do you think the Yaoyorozus are descended from a powerful financial group in the past? Because even today, firms that started in the early 1900s still have major influence in the Japanese economy today (e.g. Mitsubishi, Nissan, Panasonic, etc).
It would make sense for the Yaoyorozus to be from a minor branch of a family that owns one of these corporations that grew to prominence in the industrial rebuilding following the Age of Chaos.
But that’s just my theory. What are your thoughts?
The Yaoyorozu family is clearly meant to be one of the zaibatsu/keiretsu (mostly the more modern keiretsu) conglomerates. Actually, considering the history of these, the Yaoyorozu family rising to prominence from the ashes of the Dawn of Quirks makes sense

11:30 Am, you were at NAIA Terminal 4, a man is asleep right at the Air Asia stand. Or is he. Your job is to frame the S.P.O.T. (Supernatural Paranormal ) terrorist group. You go into the airport and you need to find the profile of the person you need to frame. You can't simply ask them all, so you head to the tourist information and steal an ID. You take it to question the tourists, thank god there are only a few today. The profile you need is: Scientist, Beach, Cebu Pacific. After a few interviews, you found her. You need to get a passport to get a bag to place the dead guy on the bench in. You find the identical bag and take the name of the owner. You head to the check in and try to get the passport, you need one now. But of course, the girl behind the counter isn't stupid, she wont give a passport belonging to Linda Crisencia when you literally are a dude. You need to get that lady out of there. You bought a soda and pretend to spill it next to the counter.
"oops, sorry..."
You pretend.
"Ugh! Read signs! Bulag ka?"
You get to the computer and take the duplicate passport. As you do this, your sister powers off all cameras. You manage to get the passport and you take the similar looking bag, you take it and place the body inside, but one last touch, removing the stickers. Luckily, you always bring alcohol with you. You take the stickers off and replace the bag, you get into the van with your sister and drive off.
As you drive, your sister starts to make fun of you.
"If you were smart enough, you could've just slipped the bag away from the security without making a dumb passport."
She says annoyingly.
"At least I do things planned unlike you!"
You start trash talking and roasting each other.
You arrived at HQ where you finally head to your office. You've been secretly investigating a case about a specific person named Alexandra Trese. You believe she is your cousin as you remember your family roots involved babaylan, real ones. Not dumb-ass witch doctors. The story of your mother was that she had a brother who was a babaylan. She never mentioned any other details about that brother of hers. She said that she had no powers and her only way to be a babaylan was to learn how to do healing magic. Too bad she wasn't born with this ability. But she was smart in science, she constructed a kris knife after Sinag was created (similar to Alex's) that can control atoms and form powers and create heat and could do the same things the Sinag can. Her family didn't accept her work so she ran away and continued her work. The NCIA discovered this and with the help of the NBI, they took her in and recruited and trained her. Then she became an agent where she met my dad.
Soon I heard a terrorist group is about to attack another MRT train with aswangs. You head to the coordinates.
I stood with another bunch of agents and my sister calculated the speed and trajectory of the jump I will make to land exactly in the train windows. One mistake then we all fail this mission.
"I got the calculations!"
"Make sure that's right."
You tell her. And she frowned before side eying you.
I immediately jump off the building and I landed right in the train windows causing the windows to break. I kicked the aswangs and threw them outside the train. I held the heads of two aswangs before cymbaling their heads with each other. I grapple the other before i stab him with my kris kick him to another agent that finishes him off. Your sister took her gun and shot the aswangs. The train stops at Shaw Blvd. And I got off. I realise, Alex will show up because the lack of information regarding the attacks will lead people to relate this to the Aswang Clan.
Next morning me and other agents arrived in black cars with our suits on right at the site for the attack and i was right, Alex will be there.
"Who are these guys?"
Her short haired bodyguard asks.
"Gago! They look like the frickin men in black!"
"If you put glasses on both of you, you'll look like them."
Alex replied to her long haired bodyguard.
"Let the professionals handle this!"
I told the cops.
"Who are you!? Who do you think you are!!!"
Alex asks angrily.
"The professionals."
You reply. Before heading to the scene and start convincing everyone it's just the aswang clan. You do this to reduce panick. You head back to Alex.
"Sorry for interrupting, by the way, im (y/n)! And this is by sister (s/n)."
I say while gesturing to my sister.
"Im Alexandra Trese, an asset of the Manila police in supernatural cases. These are Crispin and-"
"Let me guess the other, its ummm... Basilio?"
"Yeah, stop by my bar sometime."

Rare Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero restored is about to make its first flight
Original Japanese World War II aircraft are very rare and a Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero is about to fly in the US.

In the United States, an extensive restoration project is being completed: at Legend Flyers in Everett, Washington, a Japanese single-engine Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero fighter has been restored so that you can fly again.
The aircraft with construction number 3148 was built in 1942 and flew with the Imperial Japanese Navy. According to the available documents, it was used by the 252th Kokutai and in 1943 suffered massive damage due to bomb shrapnel at the Taroa airfield in the Marshall Islands. The Japanese had no way to fix the Zero in the field, so they just left it off the runway, where it fell apart.

American warbird collector John Sterling found the fighter in 1991 and dispatched it to the United States. He hoped to restore the wreckage so that he could fly again. However, the restoration turned out to be so complex that several owners failed in the task one after the other. Thus, in 2011, Zero reached the Legend Flyers, who took over the task.
The fighter was restored to its original 1943 condition, with one exception: the original engine could not be repaired, so it was replaced by a Pratt & Whitney R-1830-92 radial engine. The painting corresponds to that of the original aircraft down to the last detail. In the fuselage, in addition to the Japanese badge, the restaurateurs also reapplied the original registration, indicating that school-age children from Manchuria occupied by the Japanese collected money that supported the purchase of this aircraft.
After the inaugural flight and flight tests, the Mitsubishi A6M3 will fly from the US West Coast to the East Coast. It will be owned by the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and will not only be on display at the museum's static exhibition, but will also be demonstrated in flight at air shows throughout the country.

Y’all wanna know something that is sort of baffling to me about cars? How few manufacturers there actually are.
Take a moment to think about all the dealerships in your town, and how many brands there are. Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Jeep, Dodge, BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Fiat, Audi, Mazda, Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Lexus, Chrysler, Mini, maybe if you’re feeling fancy Porsche, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, Land Rover, Maserati. The list does indeed go on.
What if I told you that in that list, there are only 12 parent companies?
Reasonably speaking there are about 47 brands (or makes) of car currently being sold new in the US, with a handful of other brands that are discontinued and no longer being manufactured, and a few small electric vehicle brands that are standalone. For all of those, there are 17 parent companies.

I’m going to put each make of vehicle listed with their parent company, and list the current models as well. Plus some commentary because I can’t help myself. Here we go

Current models are the Soul, Seltos, Sportage, Sorento, Carnival MPV, Telluride, Niro, EV6, Rio, Forte, K5, and Stinger
Genesis
This entire make actually started as the Hyundai Genesis, a single model of vehicle, but is now its own thing. Because it’s a luxury brand, the names are kind of annoying, as you’ll see further down the list. Those current models are the G80, G70, G90, GV60, GV70, and GV80.

Current models are the Chrysler 300, Pacifica, with the 300C coming sometime next year. Shoutout to the Town & Country though.

Current models are the Charger, Challenger, and Durango, but another special shoutout to the Grand Caravan.
Fiat
Don’t buy these. They, much like Jeeps, break all the time to the point there’s a joke that “Fiat” stands for “Fix it again, Tony.” Anyway, the only current model is the Fiat 500x, but you can still find the 124 Spider, 500, 500 Abarth, 500c, 500c Abarth, 500e, and 500L around.
Jeep
Also don’t buy these. They spend more time in the shop than on the road. Current models are the (Grand) Wagoneer (which is ugly as hell imo), Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Compass, Gladiator, and Renegade.
Maserati
Common knowledge is these are also garbage cars, and you’re paying for the name. Current models are the Grecale, Levante, Ghibli, Quattroporte, and MC20.
Ram
Current models are the 1500, 2500, 3500, Chassis Cab, and ProMaster. These are all trucks, and while they used to be part of the Dodge lineup (which is why you’ll still see Dodge Rams around or hear people refer to them as such), they have become their own brand aimed mostly at professionals in construction and transportation.
Defunct: Plymouth, although it was only owned by Chrysler at the time it suspended operations. The history of who owns what in this particular line up of brands is really complicated.

Volkswagen Group
Audi
One of the more annoying naming conventions, in line with other luxury brands of the same price range. Current models are the e-tron, e-tron Sportback, e-tron S, e-tron S Sportback, e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT, Q3, Q4 e-tron, Q4 Sportback e-tron, Q5, Q5 Sportback, SQ5, SQ5 Sportback, Q7, SQ7, Q8, SQ8, RS Q8, A3, S3, RS 3, A4, A4 allroad quattro, S4, A5 coupe, S5 coupe, RS 5 coupe, A5 Sportback, S5 Sportback, RS 5 Sportback, A5 Cabriolet, S5 Cabriolet, A6, S6, A6 allroad quattro, RS 6 Avant, A7, S7, RS 7, A8, S8, TT coupe, TTS coupe, TT Roadster, R8 coupe, and R8 Spyder.
Bentley
As with higher luxury brands, there aren’t a ton of models. Currently in production are the Bentayga, the Continental GT, and the Flying Spur.
Lamborghini
In line with the above, we only have three models. The Aventador, Huracan, and Urus. (Hot tip: the Urus, their only SUV, is on the same exact platform as the Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne, and Volkswagen Touareg. So, rather than spend $225,500 on a Urus, go and get yourself a Cayenne or Panamera witht he same engine in it for half the price, or if you’re after the interior and space, a Q7 or Q8 $60k, or a Touareg for something like $20k.)
Porsche
Porsche my beloved. I will never say a single bad thing about this brand. Other than the fact that sometimes their naming conventions, particularly for their coupes, cane get a little confusing. Nonetheless, current models include the 718, 911, Taycan (which is all electric, which surprised me, tbh), Panamara, Macan, and Cayenne. However, you start seeing the confusing naming conventions once you get into all the options. See, my mom drives a Boxter. But, do I have any idea if it’s a 718 or a 911? No. So, a further breakdown of the models:
