Hey knight I was wondering about the Unova kids and like, how did they reveal they were the ones commanding the three dragons? Like was it the first time they fused the three together? Or was that a different thing? I’m just confused cause we had the six of them with the original dragon but then Bianca had Reshiram after the reveal

Also was there any suspicion among the public if there was someone controlling the dragons? Or did people just think the Tao Trio were angry or something?

Last question but how do you think the League reacted to see both their champions and one gym leader commanding the original dragon to cause destruction and chaos?

Okay what I had in mind is that the first time they fused the dragons it was like a test run, and like, I wanna say that they can unfuse(?) them too whenever they want or when they want to cause destruction at different parts of Unova at the same time, and ofc, the dragons went w it bc it'll also show that even tho they aren't fused as one, they're still powerful separated

And like,, imagine tho that like, yeah the first attack was at Opelucid, and ofc idk if anyone survived the attack there, but if there is or are, then imagine them running to Icirrus, calling for help, telling the people there of what happened in Opelucid. And like, idk if that guy did see Iris w the rest of the Unova kids, or maybe he did but he couldn't tell who they really were bc he was already panicking ofc. But I wanna say he saw one of the kids, Iris maybe bc ofc, she had this confrontation with Drayden probably and ough that would hurt fr cbdmcbdn

Ah anyways hahaha yeah guy got to Icirrus, and like, yeah, guy was vibing, the people of Icirrus was there trying to calm him down, then he told them of a dragon pkmn, Drayden confronted the one behind it, but the man wasn't sure who it really was. Ofc, that send the alarms off their head, as a few of them followed the man to Opelucid. When they got to Route 9, a suddenly thunderstorm raged on, but they pushed through, and as they got to Opelucid, it was even more of a frozen wasteland than Icirrus. Frozen corpses scatter around the once vibrant city, Drayden was there on the ground, lifeless as his blood pooled beneath him, coating the ice and snow with a deep crimson colour. It was a horrific sight, as the man rushed to his already dead family and pokemon, the people of Icirrus called Brycen, telling him of what happened, and thus Brycen then informed the League, he decided to return to Icirrus to watch over it once again.

Meanwhile, the kids are there at the league, the Dragon unfused, back to their respective pokeballs, to not draw any more attention. With the thrill of that power of the original dragon, they decided they'd fuse it again soon, but for now, they'd have to stay inconspicuous, and thus the dragons were separated. Hilbert and Iris did get the message from Brycen, and Hilbert could only smirk as he looks at Iris, telling her that she has to do an act so believable that she actually mourns Drayden. Iris scoffed, saying the Unovan people are stupid enough to believe her faux grief, and they started planning more. Hilbert headed to Mistralton with Hilda and Zekrom. Cheren went back to Aspertia, playing the role of a concerned Gym leader, N went to Lacunosa, watching and waiting if the people there already heard news of what happened to Opelucid, Kyurem was with him. Tho yeah, before Bianca could head back to Nuvema, this happened, and yeah Reshiram went with her, which then left Iris at the league. Preparing her lil act when she gets back to Opelucid.

But also it'd be dope y'know, if N and Iris did meet up before Iris went to Opelucid. Like,, yeah, they planned shit, when they got to Opelucid, Iris was there acting all sad and such, a few of the people there was comforting her, but like,,,, oughgvhjchcjd your honour fucking imagine, as she's there clutching Drayden's body, she smirked, laughing, going "oh grandpa... If you weren't so weak, this wouldn't have happened." And that surprised the people there with her, before they can react, N was already there with Kyurem, Iris gave them a smirk as she went to N's side, N was there looking at the people with no emotions in his eyes. Imagine if N still wanted them to give up their pkmn to him, as he still doesn't want to hurt them, and he made an empty promise if they do, they might grant mercy. So ofc, they gave him the pokeballs that had their pkmn in it, hoping it's really be enough that they'd get spared.

When N finally got them, he turned to Iris, "my friends are safe now.. do whatever you want with the rest." As he looks at the people with them, and he turned, leaving them. Iris could only smirk, watching the horror in their eyes as they finally met their fate at the piercing ice of Kyurem's Glaciate.

If Brycen did hear abt that tho, imagine him rushing to Opelucid only to see Iris there w Kyurem. Fuck imagine chdmdb imagine the betrayal he feels, Iris is there looking almost bored as she kicked around one of the frozen limbs of someone dead. Imagine him rushing to call in the league, as he tries to fight off Iris, only to also meet his fate not by Kyurem's Glaciate, but Iris impaling him with a stray icicle. Iris knew the message got to the league, got to Hilbert, and that was enough for the twins to start their own attack in Mistralton too, Skyla never stood a chance, but she managed to inform the league of Hilbert also attacking Mistralton, and god imagine as Skyla is fighting for her life, the rest of the Gym Leaders and Elite Four were panicking at where Brycen was, and what drove both their Champions to even commit such acts.

-Ok first, lemme start with some songs that just lead me to think about this guy™. He shares one song I relate to Hilbert (but that's because I have this thing of imagining small animations in my head when I listen to them and each one of the Unova gang shares one song with Hil) and it's MILABO. Besides that, I think Ready To and Night Running fit him as well.

Also this.

-After N left the Pokemon League in BW1, he talked to Reshiram/Zekrom, and asked them to leave him. (Something along the lines of him thinking he is not worthy of having the legendary pokemon at his side).

They never left.

-He was also hoping to find the BW1 protag again too. But never went to search for them himself. Fear? Maybe. Perhaps he didn't want to see them again until he felt he was ready to, until he felt he finally got a good grasp on who he really is and what he wants to do with what happened at the pokemon league.

Those two are more general headcanons I think. I mean that... they can fit with either version and protag.

Now with more specific ones...

-He plays with the bracalets he has on his left wrist. Mostly when he gets truly nervious, but sometimes when he isn't really doing anything and it's bored.

-I like the "N is a Zoroark", tho not in the way of he is one playing as a human. More in the sense that, when he was a child and was still living among pokemon, there was a zoroark that took care of him (besides other pokemon aound).

From here also comes the idea that yes, he has a zoroark brother.

-Adding to this. He doesn't cut his hair, and if he does it's only ever a bit of it. It's his way of feeling more connected to his brother.

-The unova gang plus some other people are constantly introducing him to new things. Sure, in the time he was gone roaming around the Unova region he was able to do things for himself. But I think there's some charm in having others (his friends) help him experiment new things too.

Bianca and Rosa introduced him to nail polish and he is a bit facinated with the fact that he can paint his nails red.

-Did I say I think of him as nonbinary demiro?? no??? Well there's that.

-Thinks of the BW protags as little siblings. Specially Hilbert.

-Knows Red, gets along pretty well with him. He is quite surprised of his ability of comunicating with his pokemon without the need of words.

Blue is a bit angry at the fact that N could understand Red after just a few minutes of meeting him.

-He was the one to send 100 requests to Lear's desk for the construction of a ferriswheel in Pasio, each one with detailed information about them and full of formulas the prince didn't quite understand. Lear appreciates N's enthusiasm.

Hilbert was laughting so hard when he heard about it from Cheren.

-Iris thaught him the art of storing things in his hair. He finds it really usefull.

-Besides that, he spends some of his time around the Unovan Champion. He truly respects Iris not only as the champion and trainer but also as a person. She is like... an excitable little sister that at times feels like an older one.

-Gets along really well with the subway bosses. The three of them have gotten into full six hours conversations about trains.

-The Unova Gym Leaders (first game) and the Elite four check on him every once and then. A bit like the same treatment they give Cheri.

N is confused at their kindness, but he is greatfull for it.

-"Granpa Alder" and "hey gramps...".

-Yes he bonds with Cheren through Alder. They share a granpa.

-They both recieve very painful back pats.

-Nate looks up to him, and he also worries about him, a lot.

weird pokeprotags headcanons for my sprawling Pokemon Cinematic Universe in my brain.

red and leaf are different characters, and they and blue grew up together as rivals. red of course has charmander, leaf has bulbasaur and blue has squirtle. as they battle during their journeys they each take home some victories. leaf beats the league first, then blue beats the league and her, then red knocks out blue. and promptly fucks off to mt. silver.

leaf travels the world before coming back and eventually taking on the role of kanto champion. gold/krystal/lyra fights red and defeats him, but he keeps on moping up there. they go to talk to blue because they were like. uh. were you friends with the former champion who lives on the mountain? and blue’s like WHAT and goes to drag red’s ass down. they start dating and then become the battle tree guys eventually. leaf comes back to kanto after kicking major ass there and destroys the league, becoming champion and actually holding it this time.

gold/krystal/lyra are all the same character. i really don’t have a preference of which sprite they choose. they become friends with silver after the course of the games. that’s it that’s what i’ve got there.

may is the protag and brendan is the professor’s kid. they, in general, go on their adventures together and sometimes wally also travels with them. i prefer emerald canon to the others so we’re going with that.

dawn is the protag and lucas is the professor’s assistant guy. beyond that i have no opinions beyond “platinum canon”

hilda and hilbert are the same character, so i don’t really care which sprite you choose. they are rosa an nate’s older cousin and they’re really bad at communication. they search for N all over the world and are really pissed when they find out he’s just literally been in unova the whole time. what a dumb boyfriend. he’s just- he’s so dumb.

rosa and nate are twins and different characters. rosa is the protagonist who takes the protagonist’s journey, trying to live up to her older cousin’s legacy and become the pokemon champion. nate is more just along for the ride to have some fun and help his friend hugh find his sister’s pokemon. rosa is very driven and competitive, and she resents that nate is still a good trainer without working at it at all, and also kind of resents that their mutual friend likes him so much better (even though she doesn’t like hugh all that much either). while she always wins when she battles either of the boys, it’s not by the huge margin she feels that it should be. 

nate and hugh travel together, and they always get mixed up in rosa’s protag adventures, which bugs her to no end because I AM THE STAR HERE OKAY. I AM THE HERO I AM THE CHAMPION IT IS ME ME ME ME and nate’s like dude this is why mom likes me better and rosa rips off his stupid little hat. rosa calms down a litttllleee bit after seeing how well iris handles defeat and she’s like. you literally just lost being champion, and iris is like “it’s not the end of the world. my whole identity isn’t tied up in it or anything” and rosa’s like, well shit. mine IS i need to work through some issues, don’t i. and then they become good friends and she talks to her older cousin and gets a little bit more Stable. she still thinks her brother is a turd though. later on, hugh becomes a PI and nate becomes a pokemon nurse and they date, and rosa and iris become a great contest duo and they also date. n and hilda are running around battling people and rescuing pokemon and generally causing a ruckus. 

i have no kalos opinions since i played like 4 hours of y back when it came out and don’t know anything about the games rn

selene and elios are interchangeable, the only reason i have a slight preference for selene is because when i ship her with lillie it’s GAY. but either way, protag dates lillie, hau dates gladion, and in general they tear up the dance floor.

also have not played swsh yet so no opinions there

If we were to skip ahead of the non existent plot for the Villain Iris AU, how do you think Iris would be revealed to be Team Plasmas new leader? I can think of a few scenarios myself

You know how she was the one to steal the DNA Splicers? What if she made the mistake of going straight for them when in the house? Like I highly doubt Drayden was just telling anyone where he is hiding the Splicers in his house. He probably trusted Iris enough to tell her where exactly they were hidden. And Iris made the mistake of not trashing the interior to make it look like someone was searching every inch of the house for them. At first Drayden didn’t think about how his house looked when Iris and the Shadow Triad disappeared, but looking back he realized that whoever took the DNA Splicers is someone who knew the exact location. Drayden doesn’t want to point fingers but he knows deep down he has to tell the League about the few people who know the location, even if it means Iris is now a suspect

Another could be a complete accident during a battle. Like Iris only has a hood to conceal her identity, (give her a mask or something 😭 or maybe even just a mask you wear over your mouth, I like her red glowy eyes) so if someone were to get close enough to pull her hood off then her whole identity is shown. So imagine if her friends are protecting another city/town that she’s attacking while watching from above. And Hilbert gets pissed off on how “the new leader stays in the safety of her ship” and taunts her about it, calling her a coward for never coming out of her ship to attack. Of course Iris isn’t going to take that slander, even from her best friend, and calls back Kyurem to fly her down to where the group is waiting. And I really don’t know how but they end up distracting Iris long enough for.. idk N or Hilbert to tackle her to the ground or smth? And just her hood is down, her face has been revealed, and she’s glaring right at them. The stark difference between Iris’ glares and N/Hilberts shocked and horrified face. Course Iris gets away when the Shadow Triad appears and rips N/Hilbert off of her and the four disappear, leaving her friends with the horrifying discovery of who the leader is

This last one is my favourite just because I love big dramatic reveals. What if she reveals her identity herself, on live tv across Unova. Having the speech in the middle of one of the biggest cities. She does it after Unova is mostly a frozen waste land. Crops can’t grow so food is scarce, people and Pokémon have frozen to death during her attacks, Team Plasma won’t allow people to leave the region, the League has given up all hope of defeating Team Plasma, everyone fears for their safety, even her Friends know they can’t beat Kyurem, and everyone pleads to the Leader of Team Plasma to spare their lives. And that’s when Iris gets a live broadcast to go all over Unova to every device available. Starting her speech in front of a camera and many Team Plasma members, talking about the conditions of the region, how everyone is lacking food, the temperatures have dropped below, many of their loved ones have died, and how their safety is at risk. But she tells them that they could have food again, she can get rid off the ice, she can make sure their safe. She’s their god, of course she’s allowed to chose what she can provide them

If she becomes their Leader. The one and only ruler of Unova. She can reverse the damage she has done, and god people almost instantly gave in. They want their safety and if she says she won’t attack them no more if she gets what she wants then so be it. Unova is now in the hands of a single person and her army

But GOOODDD the absolute horror the people of Unova (and probably others watching the live from other regions) felt when their new leader takes off her hood (and mask ig if we’re giving her one?) and reveals herself to be none other than Champion Iris. The one person who was supposed to protect the region, not destroy it

They should've fucking known

And idk I just imagine it like that one scene in bnha idk if you know that, but that scene w Dabi broadcasting how Endeavour was an abusive dad and such and everyone fucking saw it.

IMAGINE DRAYDEN WATCHING THO AND HAVING THE SAME FACE AS REI HERE NCMXNDM

Like imagine Iris just looking somber and such, a farcry from what she's like as the leader of Plasma. And she's there sitting on a couch, facing the camera, she's wearing her Plasma boss clothes, but she's also wearing that crown she has. And she's telling everyone why she ended up doing the things she did. She's going on abt how people never liked her even when she was young, how no matter how hard she tried, she was never enough for the people. And it went on, how she hears how people speak so lowly of her, how they don't even see her as a Gym Leader back then, and how they never saw her as a Champion now. They only see her as a Champion when she wins tournaments, they only see her as a Champion when they need her, but once they're done, once they get what they want, they disregard her like she's nothing, their hatred once again flooding her ears.

And then she went on how no one even tried to see it in her perspective, how no matter how hard she tries to explain it, they'd say how she's just making excuses. She went on how when she patrols Unova the people would get mad at why she's not at the League doing her Champion duties, and when she's in the League, they'd get mad that she always stays there and not help the Unovan people. No matter what she does, no one will ever be satisfied w what she's doing. Nothin she ever does is right. No one ever tried to help her. Almost everyone in Unova underestimate her, they look down on her, they didn't give her at least a bit of respect, only doing so when she's w other people.

And she got so sick of it.

"but.. don't you think it's only fair?" She said, a smile forming on her face now, eyes half lidded as if bored, "that you would also feel the same pain I went through?" Everyone was watching w bated breath, Iris leaned in a bit, grinning, smirking, going on how it's really their fault she killed people, how it's their fault that she was driven to that point in her life she ended up taking other peoples' lives as well, how it's all their fault why they couldn't just stop and think how fucked up it actually was, giving a child that much hate that she never felt the love of the people in her region.

Everyone was cold and distant to her when she called out for help, so why can't she just return the favour? It's only fair.

So while Reshiram and Zekrom are still kinda dicks to Hilda and Hilbert, I feel like they’re still kinda chill with them after a while. Like they’re not fighting for control 24/7 like Kyurem is to Iris, but they’ll still try once in a while. Like maybe they’re still healing after that fight Ghetsis caused

But I was thinking about why Kyurem would chose a 10 yo instead of waiting for someone else to show up. And like what if he chose her because he thought it would be easy for her to relent and let him take over her body once he threatens her with death. But Iris probably has a shit ton of will power if she’s kept control up until this point

Ough but yeah, would Drayden (and the rest of the League) even know it’s Iris that’s Kyurems new host? Cause she was used for Kyurems power by Team Plasma. Also Kyurem was practically tortured in Bw2 to make it use its power to attack cities. Can’t imagine the pain Iris feels. And if I’m remembering correctly, Kyurem was electrocuted or something to make it fire a Glaciate

So they probably did the same thing to Iris just in a smaller scale to not kill her, but still fucking painful. She can never catch a break, first tortured by Kyurem then by Team Plasma

One last thing, but imagine how the League is feeling. Their Champion was attacked and then kidnapped by Team Plasma which is bad in itself. But now they don’t know if she’s being held in the Frigate or another unknown location. So when the Frigate got destroyed after a few icy attacks, it’s like a 50/50 chance their champion was involved in that attack so now they don’t even know if she survived

Someone pls give this girl a goddamn break omfs hcnxbxn

God but imagine tho if like,, Plasma, or rather Ghetsis, was there taunting the League that he actually has Iris with him. Y'know, like maybe during that attack in Opelucid, Ghetsis was there smirking down at Drayden, showing him the state of Iris, telling everyone how Iris was nothing more than a monster, fused with Kyurem, bringing nothing but destruction. Imagine how much that'd fuck up Drayden tho, having to see his granddaughter go through hell and back, being tortured by Plasma, imagine if Ghetsis made Drayden watch as they electrocute Iris tho, and using her and Kyurem's powers to freeze Opelucid over

Man imagine how much that'd fuck up Drayden tho imagine him just wanting to kill Ghetsis on the spot but he can't bc everything's frozen over and he's trapped and he's fighting off Zinzolin, but that mfer was just a distraction, and Ghetsis and the rest of Plasma flew of somewhere else

But also imagine if that really was the final trigger for Iris, like this concept led to this maybe?

Anyways yeah the league bcmdnd idk, imagine them trying to look for her too, and ofc the people of Lacunosa had said they last saw the Frigate near the Chasm, so they went there, searched every nook and cranny, but they never found Iris. Maybe she really hid herself from them, maybe she's really dead, either way,, well,, the E4 has to tell Drayden of the loss, how they never found Iris or any trace of her.

And just ncmxnd ough Iris showing herself to Nate bc Kyurem still needs the Splicers, and maybe Drayden gave Nate the Splicers still, hoping that Nate would track down Plasma and save Iris from Kyurem, but now that he found her, she's probs too far gone already, she's like, trying so hard to stop Kyurem from hurting Nate, and while they were both weak, Iris knew not to underestimate the boundary pkmn, as he's so so fucking determined to get the Splicers

Now tho would Nate even tell the League where Iris is, or maybe Kyurem got him trapped too?? Or maybe,, Iris and Kyurem really became one,, like, idk how the describe this sorry my braincells are so dead I just got home from my class, but like, do you see my vision for this?? Iris managing to fight off Kyurem that their souls or smth clashed, and it got to the point that they really became a singular being, one without any of its memories anymore, an empty husk. Or maybe smth like that, but instead of losing the memories, KyuRis became a more unstable and aggressive being, attacking anything in their path, and just bcmdnd ough Nate having to fight them tho, still holding on to that hope and promise to Drayden that he'll save Iris
