To celebrate Pride Month, all of my headcanons will be gender neutral. (Or at least as close as I can get)

Happy Pride Besties! 🌈

As a fan of wrestling from an early age, you loved to keep up with the newest stars and some of your older favorites.

When AEW debuted, you were so excited to see a new company as WWE had become a bit stale in your opinion, just like your career.

You play characters on sitcoms here and there, but most of them are only one episode jobs.

Without a consistent spot on television, you didn't have a huge following, but you liked it that way.

That was until you found out about a show about wrestling that was hiring. (Like GLOW)

They were looking for people who had a basic understanding of wrestling and were willing to train.

Luckily, you were a perfect fit, and you were soon on your way to train with AEW wrestlers.

It was still early on in AEW's run, so it wasn't easy to find them at their base in Jacksonville.

You started training with the younger wrestlers who hadn't been on TV yet, and that is where you met HOOK.

He helped train you for some basic bumps and tricks, and the two of you grew close quickly.

As you started shooting the show, Hook made sure to be on set as much as he could to keep an eye on you and hype you up when needed.

You weren't expecting to find love at work, but you couldn't stop the butterflies in your stomach when Hook hugged and complimented you after a long day of shooting.

Once word got out about the show, people started to recognize you on the street. You were excited at first, but it quickly became overwhelming.

You told Hook about this, and he told you his tricks of how to not get recognized.

The two of you bonded over your love-hate relationship with fame, and you would help each other around.

Soon enough, you were going out on dates in ridiculous disguises and having the time of your life hanging out with your best friend.

When the premiere for your show came up, you asked Hook to be your date, and he hesitated at first.

However, once he saw what you were going to wear, he knew he had to be right by your side.

As you were getting ready, you heard Hook ruffling around in the kitchen of your apartment.

When you walked out, he stood there in awe as you struck a pose. He complimented you and then led you to the dining room table where he set up some flowers, your favorite snacks, and a card.

"What is this for?"

"You thought I was going to just act like this is a regular day? This is your red carpet debut, I had to make it special. Now open the card."

You opened the card and gasped as you saw the words, "Will you be mine?"

You nodded and hugged him before pulling back a bit and leaning in to kiss him, hoping you didn't mess up your makeup.

The two of you go to the premiere and he lets you get plenty of individual shots, but you insisted on having him by your side for the majority of the red carpet.

Once you got inside, you held hands and made your way to your seats, where Hook made sure to tell you how amazing your technique was in the ring.

Surprise ~ Dante Martin imagine

Can you maybe do a Dante Martin fic? - requested by anon

Dante and you have been dating since he signed to AEW. You guys have been through everything together. Being stuck in Jacksonville due to Covid. You guys breaking up. But then realizing you guys actually just needed space since you guys spent so much time together.

Him and Darius getting a push. While you were still performing on Dark. Feeling like you weren’t good enough to be with him. Since you were still on Dark and he was on Dynamite. But every time you had a doubt he would reassure you and make you feel 100 times better.

But the one thing that challenged your guys' relationship the most would be an unexpected injury. Dante never had an injury from wrestling before. And when he broke his ankle you knew that it was going to be hard for you guys. You guys were already long distance. Him living in Minnesota, and you living in New York.

It was gonna be hard because the only time you guys saw each other was at work. Unless you guys planned a weekend alone in your respectful states. You knew him being injured would be him staying home and not going to work. The day of his surgery happened to be a Wednesday, and Dante thought you would go to work. But you decided to surprise him.

You got in contact with his mom and she told you when and where he was getting his surgery. After they gave him the anesthesia before the surgery they asked him if he would like to see his mom. He of course said yes. Little did he know you would be going back with her. At first he only saw his mom and was talking to her.

Until you did a little fake cough to get his attention. He turned to where the cough came from. As soon as he turned he saw you and his eyes got all big and a big smile was on his face. After seeing his reaction you knew he was surprised to see you. You walked over to the bed and gave him a hug and a big kiss.

Before he had to go back you were just talking to him. You did this because you knew he was nervous even though the doctor has been doing this for years. Before they took him back you gave him a big kiss and told him everything was going to be fine. After the surgery and the anesthesia wore off, he told you that he thought he was dreaming. You laughed and told him that his dream came true.

After he got home from the hospital and knew he was in good hands you left to go back to work. The hands being his mom, dad, and little brother. While he was recovering from the surgery you learned a few of his moves. You had Darius teach you them since you knew he could do them and he started training at the same time as his brother. You would pull these out in your matches randomly, because Dante told you before that he wanted to teach you some of his moves.

After all of your matches, you would call Dante. You guys would talk about how his PT was going. How he felt, how you were doing and how you were feeling. You would talk to him for a little bit until one of The Lads would come by and steal your phone because they heard Dante’s voice. You didn’t care that they did this because you knew it made Dante feel special inside.

After a few months, little did you know, Dante had a surprise for you. His surprise would be his return. You were sitting in catering with Bowens and HOOK, watching Andretti and Darius give their promo about being in Minnesota. You were excited to go to Minnesota because you knew it meant that you got to see Dante. What you didn’t expect to see in their promo though, was Dante.

As soon as you saw Dante on that screen you cracked a big smile. Bowens and HOOK were both recording knowing Dante was back. You would turn to both of the boys and ask is this for real or am I dreaming? After your question you heard from your favorite voice say it's real. As you heard your lover's voice, you whipped your head around. Got up and ran towards him.

He caught you and gave you a kiss on your forehead as you cried. After you calmed down, he said you surprised me before my surgery so I thought I would return the favor and surprise you. You laughed and told him that it was the best surprise he did since you guys started dating. Later that night, in the hotel room you asked him how he pulled it off. He replied nonchalantly saying that The Lads actually helped a lot with it.

11 years ago, I became an AKA with amazing women out of Jacksonville, Florida - it has been an honor to grow with them from college girls into the women we are today. I wanted to pay homage to our sorority’s members, past and present, but also bring my girls with me along the way. My Line Sisters and Prophytes have been with me since playing D1 basketball, showing up to every single game - and now, to have them by my side for one of my biggest matches was such an honor. My Neo and Soror were amazing additions to my life, not only as sisters, but as friends. I couldn’t have shed such a big light on our sisterhood without these 6 ladies. 💕💚🐸🥲💪🏾

Our bond is deep and goes beyond our beloved colors of pink and green - it is one that I don’t take lightly and hope to inspire young girls to seek sisterhood, service, and higher education as they grow into women, too.
