Do you have any picky eater OC's?

That would be Heidi! He only really likes sweet drinks, think stuff like strawberry milk and vanilla milkshakes. He does eat healthier food, but he finds it icky. Not so much the taste, more just...in general? idk how to explain it.

This leads to him being the weakest of the magical girls. Which means that, since all the magical girls are altered to be stronger than most humans, Heidi is about as strong as an average athlete.

Hey, Puck! I missed your writing. Can I request something that's inspired by Taylor Swift's song, Safe & Sound? It can be with Disaster Evaded AU! Vali with some PTSD issues that needs some comforting because that AU needs a lil angsty feels from time to time. Thanks!

Thank you so much! I know I haven't been writing here as much, but I have been writing. More along the lines of original stuff and other things, plus I'm doing the poetry thing, or at least trying. So, I've actually been very productive on things that I just can't share.

That being said, always open to prompts! Vali having residual PTSD issues is a chronic condition for her that she alternates between doing okay and doing less okay. Being with her family helps, but even her family might suggest that she might need additional aid.

Nari woke up to the muffled sound of Heidi fussing in another room. Ummi was sound asleep in their bed, and Nari let her sleep— getting out as gently as possible. He threw on a deep blue dressing robe and stepped out into the other room to lightly chastise whichever attentive servant took his daughter from the crib in their room. Nari stepped out to see little Heidi reaching up to her Aunt Váli’s face, gently kneading her cheeks. Váli smiled at her niece, but Nari could see the tears in her eyes.

“You will live long, Princess Adelheid,” Váli whispered. “You will be the most beautiful princess Asgard has ever seen. You were born touched by the Bifrost, and it will watch over you, as our grandfather has watched over us. And you will not know our pain, and you will not know the dark.”

Heidi babbled as she continued to grasp as Váli’s face. Nari smiled softly and stepped out into the room. Váli looked up at him and he came over to collect his daughter. Heidi smiled at her father and motioned for him to pick her up. Nari sat on the couch next to Váli, rocking Heidi in his arms.

“Couldn’t sleep again?” Nari asked.

Váli looked away.

“I was just on a walk,” she said. “I heard her crying, I thought I could let the two of you get some sleep.”

“She was probably hungry,” Nari said.

Váli held up an empty bottle. Nari nodded.

“You’re certain it was nothing else?” he asked.

Váli paused.

“You couldn’t sleep,” Nari started.

“I tried to meditate to help calm my mind,” she said. “And I had a vision.”

Nari nodded.

“Our aunt is aware that you have had a child,” Váli said. “She showed me a vision of her defeat of you during Ragnarök.”

Nari sighed. There was a scar in his side that he’d received from Hela that day, along with the scars on his arms from getting his family to safety.

“We’ve lived longer than we were ever supposed to,” Nari said. “I would imagine that fact would make the Goddess of Death very angry at us.”

Váli held out her finger for Heidi to grab at. The baby’s tiny fist wrapped around the finger.

“You should speak with Iðunn,” Nari said. “There are some councilors she could recommend, I’m seeing one myself.”

“Perhaps,” she said.

The twins sat silently for a moment. Heidi babbled a bit before pulling Váli’s finger towards her and gnawing at it with her gums. Váli smiled.

“The weight of protecting this family should not be on you,” Nari said. “And others will rise to the occasion, I know it. When you are out there, with your Valkyries, they look to you for guidance, and you will do what you must. But when you are home, you should feel safe.” She nodded and leaned her head on her brother’s shoulder.

“I’m always safe with you,” she muttered, starting to finally fall asleep as Heidi fell asleep on Nari’s other shoulder. Nari leaned back in the couch, careful not to disturb either of them.

i'm gonna write these under the assumption that each characters plot hasn't happened yet

~ HAPPIEST MEMORY ~

Heidi: The summer before middle school, when he and his two best friends made a promise to be friends forever.

Henry: When the foster parents that were going to adopt him gave him a smartphone, with their numbers already added. He had it for only a few days before the couple was arrested, and the phone was confiscated by the orphanage.

Li Ming: Managing to successfully convince his classmates that a ghost haunts the school, all as part of a prank.

Ed: When his uncle let him ride with him on his motorcycle for the first time.

Theodore: The last Christmas he spend with his brother, where he reassured Theodore that he'd always be there for him.

Charan: Making the honor roll at his old school.

Percy: When he, Wallace, Monty, and Oliver were having fun watching a bad film together, and he realized he wasn't alone anymore.

Wallace: When he first moved in with Percy, and he realized his enthusiasm for having him around was genuine.

Monty: A good while after moving in with Percy, when he realized that he wasn't being friendly with him because he wanted his money, but because he wanted to be his friend, no strings attached.

Oliver: Moving in with Percy, and getting to live as a normal civilian again, even if it was only as a cover.

Serftin: Learning about the existence of witches and witch society. That he wasn't alone in being able to use magic, and that there was a whole support net for witches.

Jois: The last time he and Serftin were together, where Serftin kissed him on the nose and told him he loved him.

~ WORST MEMORY ~

Heidi: When Ed tied him up with a jumping rope and left him alone in his treehouse for hours.

Henry: Really, the entire time he was with his last foster father, but especially on the third day of his stay, when he realized that this was going to be the rest of his life.

Li Ming: When his parents told him that they were shipping him off to boarding school, wiping their hands clean of him.

Ed: A week or two after his parents divorce, when Heidi played a mean prank on his sister. Already filled with bottled up rage, the next thing he knew Heidi had a black eye.

Theodore: Finding his brother's mangled corpse.

Charan: Similar to Li Ming's (being sent off to boarding school), but for different reasons. While Li Ming's reaction was resignation, Charan's was shock; he thought his parents loved him.

Percy: The day of his parents divorce, and learning that his father was no longer going to live with him.

Wallace: Watching his father's head explode in front of him.

Monty: Retroactively, as he didn't exactly care when it happened (dude was a little sociopath lmao) but; heckling a man at the shooting range in the resort he was staying at, not realizing that the man would later go on a rampage, killing Mr. Wallace.

Oliver: The night after he accidentally learned that the two young men renting out the spare bedrooms were members of the Crimson Circus, when they made it clear that he wasn't going to return to his normal, safe life ever again.

Serftin: Learning that he was an unwanted child, and that his parents couldn't wait until he turned 18 and left the house.

Jois: This isn't an exact moment (as this slowly dawned on him), but learning that he was stuck in a timeloop.

Which of your ocs are likely to get arrested?

JOIS. Jois. Only reason that motherfucker isn't in jail yet is 'cause of the time loop he's found himself in. Hell, if anything the time loop has emboldened him to commit crimes he otherwise would get caught for.

Other candidates include:

Heidi: Despite being a paragon of love and justice, has broken into private properties more than once.

Henry: Has murdered someone at least once before, maybe more. Has also broken into private properties, as well as stealing a shitton of stuff.

Li Ming: Technically not arrest worthy, but gets into a lot of street fights.

Charan: Ditto, but is better at not getting caught (mostly because he actually wins his street fights fhjsghjksdlgs)

Monty: Was technically responsible for the death of Mr. Wallace.

Oliver: murrrrderrrrrr

Serftin: Actually pretty similar to Jois, though 1. isn't in a time loop (or at least not aware of being in one), so he's cautious of not getting caught, and 2. tends to limit his crimes to property damage, unlike Jois' "murder is okay" mindset.

Which oc handles spicy food best and worst?

Full ranking, best to worst:

Charan (give him the spice. all of it. also really likes sour food but that's not the focus of this ask)

Theodore (also really likes the spice but can't handle it quite as well)

Oliver (surprisingly good at handling spice for a Scandinavian, but that's not to say he's great at it)

Percy (around the same as Oliver, just slightly worse)

Wallace (while he can handle spicy food about the same as Percy and Oliver, if not slightly better, he's not a big fan of it)

Ed (can handle it alright, but his preference for plain food means that his tolerance for spicy food has gone down)

Jois (theoretically can handle spicy food about the same as the average person, but years of aimless wandering before stopping in the town of Asihel means that his spice tolerance has gone way, way down)

Serftin (same as Jois, except his natural spice tolerance is worse)

The funny thing about the OCs I answer asks for is that, for the most part, they exist in different stories that (mostly) don't overlap with each other. The grouping being:

Heidi and Ed

Henry and Theodore

Li Ming and Charan

Percy, Wallace, Monty, and Oliver

Serftin and Jois

In addition, the first three groupings exist in the same timeline, the order going ChaLi -> TheoHen -> EdHei

...That said, I do like to imagine them all existing at the same time. Be interesting to imagine how they'd all interact.

Yaytsooooooooooo ;_;

Heidi: Depends on where he's at in the story! In the beginning he'd probably wish for a pet cat or something simple like that. Towards the middle and end he'd either wish to never have become a Magical or for his father to be alive again (more the former in the middle, more the latter in the end).

Henry: To be a human, living a normal life. Not some weird witch/true demon hybrid, not some pawn in Ethel's game. Human.

Li Ming: For his parents to love him. (this might change depending on the story but i haven't thought that far ahead jfdkghsdlg)

Ed: At the beginning of the story (when he's still all "wow! superpowers!"), a new motorcycle, as his sister wrecked his old one. Once the seriousness of the situation settles, he'd wish for something more selfless for Heidi's sake, like for him to be happy. (Ed's life is pretty gucci no matter when in the story, while Heidi's is slowly circling down the drain :D)

Theodore: For his brother to be alive again. (Little does he know...)

Charan: For his professors to stop being so weird like seriously wth (more jokingly in the beginning, more seriously once he realizes they're all in a cult)

Percy: To have never entered that God-forsaken mansion.

Wallace: For his parents (or at least his father) to have never died while he was still a child. If they were still alive growing up, then he won't have gone through the abuse his foster parents put him through.

Monty: For his uncle to have had children. This goes twofold; he would neither be pressured to uphold the Mayfield legacy as it's only heir, nor would he and his friends get dragged into his madness.

Oliver: For his parents to have never rented out those spare bedrooms. While he's proud of his status as the leader of the Crimson Circus, and that he's the one to call the shots now, he does wonder what a normal life would be like.

Wallace, Monty, and Oliver's answers change should the Rot settle in, which is: To be with Percy forever and ever. I love you Percy. Percy. Percy. Percy. PercyPercyPercyPercyPercyPercyPercyPercy.....

Serftin: To meet Jois, a Noble Witch said to be living nearby!

Jois: To get out of the God-forsaken timeloop.
