Abed letting Pierce stay on the train after everyone else had left or been kicked out...
Pierce's "I didn't want to go home. It's depressing there this time of year"...
It being the first Christmas without their moms for both of them ...
I'm 😭

One of the comments on this is just "two theater kids walk into the art room" and I can't think of a better summary than that.

abed’s autism headcanon
It’s so funny seeing people headcanon Abed as autistic as if it’s not canon. It has never been outwardly said in the show but the show’s main writer, Dan Hanson, literally said Abed was autistic and that his relating to the character led him to get his autism diagnosis. Furthermore, there has been so much implication and reference to autism-related media throughout the show like in the first episode, when Jeff said Abed has Asperger’s (this is not a term to be used and I can’t tell if he was being serious or not but still). Other examples of Abed implied autism include:
the episode where he said he might have a developmental disorder to opt out of working with someone other than the study group for a biology project that involved Todd.
Pierce refers to him or relates him Rain Man, a movie about an autistic person.
In Abed’s verse in the Christmas rap he did with Troy, he raps “On the spectrum, none of your business” which, if you did not know, was a saying about being on the spectrum of autism.
The many situations in which the group is avoidant of referring to his autism or becomes very whispery/talking-about-a-taboo-topic-behavior when it comes to talking about his autistic sheets other than Jeff (I don’t understand why tho)
This is just a small sample of the plethora of references to Abed’s autism.
