Conrad's curse is that he is the one able to feel guilt over his own existence and he's just a fucking kid!!! He holds those ice skates close to his chest as a sign that he is fundamentally bad and harmful for caring about other people and he surrounds himself with evidence of his failure to complete his purpose and orbits around a symbol of that purpose being worthless. Someone get that kid comprehensive health insurance so he can go to therapy!

Gotta say one of my Mentopolis finale highlights is honestly the fact that Fanny gets a happy ending too because I was genuinely a little worried about her

If you watch, Anastasia and Imelda were the ones to introduce the concept of Stacy Fakename to everyone in the group. Hunch never used "Stacy Fakename" until Imelda said it, and Anastasia and Imelda called each other Stacy and Joanna on sight without prompting.

My guess they were probably real close when they were younget and made up the identities of "Stacy Fakename" as a way to get out of trouble or not to get caught. And though they both drifted apart they still keep the silly name as a way to protect or shield themselves from rough world they live in

it's time for me to talk about fanny fawnsworth. here's the thing, she made me EXCEPTIONALLY uncomfortable in her first meeting. but I think that is her purpose there. she was set up next to a don, and gave the vibe of a would be femme fatale. she held herself like she was supposed to be a fatale, but that is not what the fawn response is.

the fawn response is not supposed to be sexy, it is a reflex against fear. and fucking avaricci was playing her daily, kept her not only as "his girl" but also pointed her to "new guests". she is in a place where her reflex is all she can be. she is constantly anxious and unsure. attention experiences this, sees her at peak reflex, is uncomfortable within it, but also for the first time sees someone paying attention to attention.

i'm happy that she got with a. tension. because it means someone exceptionally attentive is there with her. fanny is no longer in a constant state of overwhelm, and a. tension can notice the lines of when fanny might be doing something out of fear than out of love. while a. tension finally gets to be seen and cared for.

i just love women loving and caring for women.

but also, it means that elias is aware of his fawn reflex. he is witnessing it, recognizing it, and helping it heal. no longer an ass kisser, but working to help his people pleasing instinct from taking over again.

Everyone in so good in the new episode holy shit

The Eagle speech! tension and Hunch's statements on atoning for wrongdoings!

Everyone is looking out for Conrad. Everyone mentioning The fix being a dad but what about Hunch who the whole time is looking out for him...Conrad tried to run away and Die and Hunch just grabs his arm and is like "Nope. Stay."

Conrad having his moment with Ivania , oh Conrad was so good this episode. He is really growing into himself. Perhaps in times of life or death dying Elias may be regretting not enabling his conscience more, hmmmm
