The Artist

On a warm autumn day near the end of the second millennium of the third age, at the base of the Misty Mountains, the youngest elf in Imladris was born. She was called Mistarë, the wanderer, for her mind was always elsewhere.

Her days were spent at the main gate of Rivendell, greeting all who came to seek Lord Elrond’s hospitality at the Last Homely House East of the Sea. When she wasn’t tending to the various guests and pestering them for stories of their travels, she was busy drawing away in one of her many journals. She delighted in portraiture and was often inspired by the stories of great heroes and their impossible feats during the first age.
