Rudolf's Tale: Second book in the series, focusing on the youngest son, currently a work in progress, part Nutcracker retelling and part Snow Queen retelling.

Henri's Tale: Third book in the series, focusing on the eldest son, still plotting storyline, part George and the Dragon retelling and part Cunning Ileane retelling.

Snowflake's Tale: Fourth book, focusing on the eldest daughter, haven't got around to plotting storyline, King Thrushbeard retelling.

Rosella's Tale: Fifth book, focusing on the youngest daughter, storyline unknown, part Rumplestikin retelling, part Snow White retelling.

Magnus's Tale: Final book, focusing on the second oldest son, story unknown.

Here is a good dose of smooth Chilean hip-hop. Felipe Berríos (aka Bronko Yotte), bridges the gap between old school hip-hop and contemporary sounds, laying bars over beats that draw equally on two musical eras.

Released in 2015, ‘Gala’, his 5th album shifts through silky jazz and piano tunes, straight forward hip-hop beats and vocals with a neat swagger. Despite this reverence for hip-hop’s past, his albums include guest spots from a wide range of contemporary music scenes—among them, pop star Gepe, electronic rap duo Zonora Point, and rap heavyweight Jonas Sanche.

La R3di es una fiesta 100% dedicada al baile. Sus creadores son la dupla Cabras Amigas (Mora Ga y Violeta Castillo) y el Dj Baladí (quien ha tocado con Nairobi, Marcianos Crew, Vasuras Crew, Zonora Point, Núcleo…)

Violeta Castillo: “Pegamos onda porque a los tres nos gusta mucho el hip hop y ponemos ese tipo de música en nuestros sets. Cuando lo vimos tocar al Baladi además flasheamos con su prolijidad. Tiene mucha data y es súper aplicado. Es una buena combinación con nosotras que somos más experimentales.”

Mora Ga: “Cuántas veces unx dice “hagamos una fiesta” y ahí queda. Bueno, en este caso nos juntamos, lo pensamos bien y la hicimos. ¡Y nos fue súper!”

Las dos primeras ediciones fueron en Boddah Club, un antro cool de Palermo que hoy por hoy está clausurado. Participaron Galanjah, dj Campeón, Marcianos Crew, Sustancia y Shuubass. Las dos estuvieron llenas y se bailó hasta que se hizo de día.

Dj Baladi: “Teníamos todo listo para la número 3 pero nos cancelaron un día antes porque esperaban inspecciones, finalmente el lugar fue clausurado y tuvimos que salir a buscar otras opciones. Fue un garrón en el momento pero al mismo tiempo fue genial que mucha gente que tenía pensado ir nos demostró su apoyo ofreciendo lugares y ayuda de muchas maneras“.

VC: “Eso nos alegró un montón y nos demostró que vamos por buen camino”.

MG: “Nos interesa mezclar públicos de diferentes lugares y escenas, nos parece aburrido ver siempre las mismas caras y por eso que invitamos a raperos y traperos de mundos distintos y diferentes generaciones. Aunque la base es el rap, tampoco nos quedamos ahí. Los combinamos con otras cosas. Como nos encanta el baile, no tenemos ningún tipo de problemas con el reggeaton o el funky carioca. A Baladi también le gusta mezclar future beats o footwork”.

La fiesta busca generar una estética original. Los flyers fueron hechos por tatuadores con estilos muy marcados y en las visuales está VJ Rag, que combina material analógico con digital.

Este viernes la R3di llega a Niceto lado B y además de los residentes estarán a cargo de la pista Lara 91K (mitad de Coral Casino) y Sustancia (la tatuadora Flavia Paravisi). Habrá shows en vivo de dos de los raperos más importantes de la nueva escuela de Buenos Aires: T&K (Teika Salvatierra) y Neo Pistea-. Quienes pueden pasar del clásico hip hop de los 90s hasta el trap más fresco. También estará la rapera brasilera-argentina Tink, que además de ser una emergente freestyler se ha destacado por sus proyectos solistas y con Klan.

Cabras Amigas empezó en 2016 como una dupla de djs, musicalizando una vez al mes Festival. La sensualidad, el baile y el disfrute por sobre todas las cosas llevaron a las Cabras Amigas a seguir experimentando y llevar este dúo más allá. Actualmente presentan un formato donde además de pinchar incluyen samples, voces en vivo y hasta temas propios y versiones libres de canciones románticas latinas mezcladas con ritmos de trap y hip hop y reggaeton.

Dj Baladi es chileno y ha grabado scrachts para innumerables raperos de allá y de acá. Ha tocado y grabado con Nairobi, Marcianos Crew, Zonora Point, Vasuras Crew, Sara Hebe, KMD, Barderos, Tortu, Kraneando, Frane o Klan. A la vez, tiene una larga trayectoria en el tornamesismo y el rap de Chile, participando del emblemático grupo Salvaje Decibel del Mc Portavoz. También es sociólogo y antropólogo, becario del CONICET y realiza una investigación sobre el hip hop en Argentina que tuvo como primer fruto el documental Buenos Aires Rap (disponible en youtube).
