Ooc thoughts and update:

I was playing ahead a few moons, as you do, when LORN FUCKING DIED IN THE MIDDLE OF A CHARACTER ARC. She got fucking carried away by an eagle. Not to worry though, because upon consulting the ClanGen discord (Special thanks to Catchphrase there) I managed to revive Lorn. SHE LIVES. Yay. But in the process, a whole world of fucking with the code was opened to me. Im thinking of possibly changing the appearances of some upcoming future characters via modifying the code. Part of the appeal of clangen is sorta going off what sprites the game gives you. But i think i should be allowed to make some special looking cats. (and some noncats too! hehehe i have stuff planned.) But yeah, to give more of a peek behind the curtain, Concreteclan isnt exactly a traditional clan. Mechanically, Lorn is a leader and Indigo is a medicine cat (though i do dislike that term, and prefer her to be called a medic) and they dont really function like how a clan functions with patrols and such. If anything, theyre closer to a fusion between Warriorclan and Bloodclan to use canon examples. My hope is that this blog will be a semi-longterm project. I plan to maybe stop when we start to get into the thousands of moons or somewhere close to that. But i want it to be casual too, thats why instead of just making it a story-focused webcomic, im using clangen. I also like the fact its an ask blog as well, which gives a really fun level of dynamic storytelling with people here. Its very improvisational, not unlike a dnd campaign. So yeah, with that, Im Buddy, and thats Conk-crete babyeeee.

Idea for a story: my bodyswap fic for one! nathan swapping bodies with pickles and then immediately hates it because pickles is always in pain, and he's also short. but the good part is he can get carried (by pickles in nathan's body) for once and he likes how it feels.

also my porn fics. the narles one where charles helps nathan "focus" by jacking/blowing him off on the dethsub so they can go home faster. nathan's like "UM ACTUALLY I WOULD FOCUS BETTER IF YOU DID IT 15 MORE TIMES HAHA" so charles is like "hm...okay he's not lying <3"

also nategaar fic. an elven prince finds a human in the forest with a broken leg and decides to help heal the human. anyway something something skwisgaar is the eleven prince and nathan is the human. at some point they start getting intimate and then they....you know....do it.

Unpopular opinion: Not unpopular but: If I see him in fat fetish art OR art that makes him as skinny as Skwisgaar I am blowing myself up. Leave him alone. OR ELSE.

Favorite headcanon: Nathan autism real. Best headcanon. Our nonverbal king. I think he's into the ocean obviously but also like weapons, and like how corpses are prepared for burial and stuff relating to death. I also think he can stim. For me. I am projecting onto him yeah.

quick update from me! uhh recently i felt pretty burnt out in drawing and inspiration and pretty much hated it. I really didn’t like where I was going recently and I felt like I was boxing myself in basically for my art. Other than that there have also been some really personal emotional issues ive been trying to work on in the past few months that I’m still trying to deal with. Basically what i’m saying is that I kinda....crashed

Not a very cool week last week for me (or past few months for that matter), but on my very brief break from shit I’ve had time to let myself relax and reflect on stuff.

I am not stopping my drawings though! Just went through a bit of a funk with it but I’m gonna take it easy on myself and not try to force out content (though I will still be working on some requested work! just give me a bit of time to do so :)) ). I know I haven’t been gone long but I did want to at least say something about what’s been going on for me personally (and I also felt like i wasnt as posting as I usually would in a while).

tl;dr, im goin through some stuff and still working on it but im gonna try to take it really easy on myself and also just enjoy posting while trying to maintain a good balance mentally/emotionally and with this blog. doin good though :)

Orange Cassidy singing to himself in the kitchen and being goofy. Him just tossing a spatula and praising himself whenever he catches it (like in a shot of brandi) and yells "YEAH BABYEEEE" unaware that Emily is watching him with her arms folding and trying not to bust out laughing.

This is the type of shit that makes my heart hurt. That type of goofy/silly stuff is totally innocent and pure but I know that some people (I’m one of them) would NOT let just anyone see that stuff. You have to be real comfortable with someone to just be a huge dork. At least from my perspective.

But Emily would watch for a while before joining him. And since she is just a teeny bit competitive, the spatula flipping would probably turn into a contest.

HI THIS IS JUST A LITTLE LIFE UPDATE FROM URS TRULY B)

So I didn’t realize I was in a depressive episode until very recently ... and I didn’t rlly know how to get out of it. I started college this semester and I was planning on pursuing nursing/health sciences and I was taking all these hard classes and putting all these crazy expectations on myself. And while yeah, I’m going great grade-wise in those classes and getting a good grasp on the info and I’ve even been praised by my prof for being top of the class with a full schedule of other hard ass classes ,, I HAVE BEEN FUCKING MISERABLE. LIKE. GODDAMN. I haven’t even had an art class in my schedule and I didn’t really know how much that would hurt until I got to this point.

Every time I would think about my future I’d have a panic attack or cry. I would just be filled with dread about having to do this for the rest of my life and while yeah itd get easier, I just ... hated the thought of doing nursing or sciences for a living. But I was like “well ig I’ll be making good money ... and hey it probably won’t matter because I’ll probably just kill myself before it gets too serious anyways”

And that’s when I realized that this is very wrong. Because I DONT WANT TO KILL MYSELF !!! I WANNA BE ALIVE !!! I WANNA LIVE AND DO ART AND MEET PEOPLE AND MAKE A DIFFERENT IN THEIR LIVES!!!! I WANNA SMILE AND WALK MY DOG AND EAT THE FOOD I LIKE AND SIT OUT IN THE RAIN !!!! I DONT CARE IF IM BROKE OR SUCK AT ART OR WHATEVER BC I WOULD MUCH RATHER DO THAT THAN A DECADE+ OF FUCKING MEDICAL SCHOOL !!! Dude ... I really really wanna be alive and spend the short amount of years that I have doing something I love ...

SO I GOT A MAJOR CHANGE BABYEEEE !!!! So far I’ve only switched from an associate of science to an associate of arts ,, but I really don’t mind spending a while looking through all the specific art majors because they DOMT fill me with dread and they actually fill me with excitement and I didn’t really think I could find that before now :) and I’m really proud of myself and just wanted to share
