What a madness! Another febroary tiger? Yes. Is there such a thing like too much tigers? No.

Perfect day for finishing the Lombards study🕯️.
I had finally some time to continue with notes for the upcoming bigger composition about the story of the Lopichis(which is planned to take an important place in my next book ‘Wolf in a European folklore’ and the wolf myths).
Thanks @hippie_saarloos that i could use your wonderful picture as an inspiration and a study model🐺🩶!

A Hybodus that I illustrated for an upcoming issue of the Steinkern Magazine under guidance of Sebastian Stumpf. Most reconstructions get the horns wrong.
(image ID: A watercolour painting of a slender shark with serrated spines on its dorsal fins and four horns on its head.)

Badgers are seldom seen in the wild despite their healthy population size, widespread distribution across mainland Scotland and easily recognisable form. This is largely due to their nocturnal habits and general shyness.

My students in my kids’ art class with @livandchiuartstudio wanted to draw a Turkey! Ask and you shall receive! Turkey in soft pastels on black cold press watercolor paper. A little too fibrous for the rubbing motion with the pastels…lesson learned! 🦃 . . . . #turkeypainting #turkey #birdart #bird #bigbird #softpastels #pastelpainting #jenniferlindermanart #teachingart #teachingartist #oaklandartist #wildlifeart #colorpop #colorfullife🌈 #followlove #create #draweveryday https://www.instagram.com/p/CktSeO1Jaz8/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Plains Zebra
White gouache and pencil on brown paper. This was done as a bit of an experiment and I also wanted to see how well my experience from drawing horses carried over to zebras.

Hyena! Fascinating animals, one of my favourites.
Is this a good painting? Nope! Am I happy with this painting? Yup! For it was fun, I learned a lot and it is .0001% better than the last thing I painted. Each one gets a little better and I gain a little more understanding and that's the fun part!
