Me, gently throttling the Shameless post S8-9 writers: Why didn't you have Debbie take a job at the nursing home. Her whole character up into that point was wanting to take care of people. She could have bonded with new, fun side characters at the home. We could have learned the fate of Aunt Ginger. She could have had funny B plots with V every couple episodes. She could have finally learned what a stable relationship looks like from watching older couples who've been together for years. She could have gotten another mother figure after Sheila left. Franny could have gotten a fun grandmother-type figure. Becoming a CNA is a very common career path for people straight out of high school. We could have seen an accurate depiction of how strenuous and hard being a nursing aid is. Ahhhhhhh.

#i understand that her being a welder is cool and badass #but I just feel like thay strong compassion she had for kids and the elderly left her as she got older #which I guess makes sense #maybe I'm just delusional #and I know ghat her attachment to kids and old people was because of her innate loneliness #but I just feel like it would have a been a good fit for her #but I would have kept the friend she makes welding and just made him another nurse #i forget his name but he's the ine who helped her get the birth control

I had my daughter. :) She's a week old now and is an angel baby that actually sleeps and hardly cries.

That will change I am sure but I am soaking it up for now.

So alexis denisof's English accent in the buffyverse is really pretty good, I think you only hear it wobble on a couple of words.

The cast members of snl ~lately tend to be really good actually!!! I guess it makes sense cos a lot of them are impressionists, but def sticks out as particularly good examples!!

Erm I feel like pamela adlon might have done bits in better things, where her character's mother (like her real life one) is English...?(she's got her British citizenship too now though so idk feels like this barely counts??)

Gillian Anderson's English accent is good, but she partially grew up here/it's kinda her real accent (sometimes?).

Clarke peters' English accent eg in hdm is basically impeccable, but he has lived here since the 70s.

Lake bell's english accent in man up is decent! I think she lived here for a bit too?

I've def heard worse than Carrie fisher's random star wars one actually!

I feel like Allison brie as Ruth-as-liberty-bell in That ep of glow was doing a decent English accent?? Though I don't know why 😆

But yea I'm def finding it hard to think of examples😅 I think in general even where they're technically OK they're too posh/rp-y/crisp and can sound pretty forced and out of place? 🤔🤔🤔

I'm literally looking for a daily planner with times, for graduate school since i'm adhd and I need to plan every hour of every day if I'm planning on getting on anything done on time, but by god if not every single possible planner has a goals, motivations, and gratitude section. For the sake of the angry administratives looking down at me from their ivory towers people, I just want the week day and hours, is that too much to ask?
