Sera: Is that your daughter? She's absolutely gorgeous! Lute: Thank you. Adam: Yeah, little bitch really takes after me, except the best part... Sera: ...Of course. What did you name her? Adam: Oh, I named her after the best thing ever - Sera: Please tell me you didn't. Lute: We called her Vaggie. Adam: Not how you're supposed to say it, Lute.

In my AU, Carmilla learns that Vaggie's own mother was the one to take out her eye and cut off the wings she was born with. She then calls over her daughters and just tells them they have a new sister now, pointing at a very confused Vaggie.

I'm just going to leave this and run.
(Art by @Masfemis. Both on Tumblr and Twitter, apparently)
I feel like this is canon in general, but in my AU, this is basically just Lute realizing she has a solution for when her and Adam hook up, and he tries to refuse to use protection.

Adam - “Fuck yeah! I made Heaven’s hottest baby!”
Lute, holding newborn Vaggie with an expression so done you can see it through her mask - “Please say cute, Adam…”

Adam - “Hey, Lute, thanks for covering that meeting with my ex-slut and her new asshole. Really didn’t wanna deal with them…What’s that?”
Lute, exhausted from having giving birth less than fifteen minutes ago, holding newborn Vaggie -“You can obviously see what it is, Adam.”
Adam - “Fuck yeah! Even after all this time, I still got it! That’s my boy!”
Lute - “She’s a girl.”
Adam - “…You sure?” He lifts up the blanket and looks. “Well..shit.”

LOL, Charlie hurling digs at Lute for what she did to Vaggie is hilarious! The Princess of Hell may be a sweetie, but she isn't going to let the mistreatment of her loved ones pass.
Lute and Adam are left speechless after Charlie says that, both because Vaggie is alive and dating Charlie and because of the sheer audacity of Charlie saying that.
The idea of that being how they learn their daughter is still alive is honestly hilarious, I can't even try to deny that. Though I feel like Lute would try to maintain her cool at the digs, just stubbornly insisting on her mindset that her daughter "died" the day she left her in Hell after she "betrayed" their cause, and she has no reason to feel sorry for what she did to the "demon" that took her child's place.

The arrangement of Sera watching Vaggie every year on the Extermination Day until she was old enough to stay home alone was something Lute did out of a bit of desperation. She and Sera were never close, if you asked Lute - they had some degree of mutual respect, but would never chose to spend time together outside of things related to work.
But as the first Extermination after Vaggie was born drew nearer, Lute was hit with the realization that her options for someone to watch her daughter while she was in Hell doing her job were non-existent. Lute didn't really have anyone she considered even somewhat "friends", outside of her fellow Exorcists. None of whom she'd trust with her baby, even if they weren't all going to be in Hell that day as well.
But even if they weren't really friends, Lute knew Sera was responsible - she was raising Emily at the time and was clearly keeping the kid safe. So if there was anyone Lute was pretty sure would be able to take care of Vaggie for the day, it was Sera. Still she didn't love having to basically ask for a favor, especially one that she'd need to repeat every year for quite a while. Thankfully Sera never tried to make Lute "owe her" for any of the times she took care of Vaggie during those years of needing to babysit her.

Adam - “You know, Lute, your kid’s kinda an asshole for cockblocking us like that.”
Lute, having just put Vaggie back to bed - “…Adam? She’s barely a year old.”
Adam - “Shit, really?”

Okay but imagine the scene for your AU if Charlie felt the need to be nasty and knew Lute was Vaggie's mother in episode 1.
Lute : How does that feel? To know how little you matter?
Charlie : Your daughter call me mommy too.
I can imagine Charlie under her episode 8 demon form saying that, and it's hilarious.
If only there were arts of this AU.
I mean, if anyone wanted to do art/fics with this AU...as long as they tagged me, I would not object in the slightest....
But, yeah, Charlie would make so many digs at Lute if she knew the truth about Vaggie being her daughter from the start. And also want to wreck her for what she did to Vaggie, similar to what she wanted to do to Valentino for mistreating Angel in front of her.

As we saw in the finale, Adam is very powerful. Did Vaggie inherit some of that power?
Another thing that makes this AU so fun is that Adam and Lilith are exes, but their respective daughters ended up together.
She did, but it’s a case where she can’t fully access it. Partly because she’s not fully aware of what she’s capable of - she assumes Adam is her father but never knows for certain.
Someone definitely points that out once Vaggie reveals not only her identity but the most likely candidate for her father.

Too bad Charlie can't get a hold of vaggie baby pictures to post all over their room, huh
Charlie absolutely begs Vaggie to give her some, but Vaggie just tells her she doesn't have any baby pictures left, even if she could somehow get her hands on them.
And she's not lying. Lute did love Vaggie, but she wasn't the type of parent to take a ton of photos of their child growing up. She did have a few, but most of them, she destroyed along with most of the other things that reminded her of Vaggie, basically as a way to "grieve" her daughter when Lute, in order to try to deal with her own grief (and kind of self-anger) for what she did to Vaggie when she "fell", told herself that her daughter had already been dead when she spared the Sinner child and the person Lute had attacked was just a "demon who stole her face", The only photo of Vaggie from before she ended up in Hell is one of her as a young toddler with her mother, one of the only things Lute was unable to bring herself to destroy after Vaggie "fell."

In my AU, Vaggie actually accidental outs herself as an Angel to Charlie before Adam and Lute reveal the full truth of her not only being an Angel but a former Exorcist specifically. Because when she realizes they're about to tell Charlie her secret, she, in a moment of desperation, actually calls Lute "Mom", hoping that it would be enough to stop her. Unfortunately, she was wrong about that.

I know Adam was a deadbeat dad, but did he ever showed his actual face to vaggie?
Tumblr media
(I chose this one because not only it's the one where he look the best, but also before Lucifer use his face as a punching ball, therefore the only fair one to judge his appearance).
Lute and Adam hang out together and genuinely vibe together (just look at their fist bump and their actions while the other have their solo) , so it definitely would have included her being one of the only ones, if not the only one he's comfortable showing his face to.
This closeness would definitely influence any decisions Adam would have regarding showing his face to Vaggie, and also, it make it very possible that little Vaggie just saw it at least a few times.
Also, I hope you keep the "Charlie is 200+ years old" thing, because Vaggie and Emily too being this age is cool, and I really dislike any ideas of Charlie being young by human standards, since it take away from her being what she is, and it's hilarious that all the sinners at her hotel are younger even when combining human lifetime and time in Hell.
Adam never intentionally showed his face to Vaggie, but she had caught a glimpse of it a few times, namely when he'd visit Lute when a very young Vaggie was supposed to be sleeping, and she'd wake up before he was gone. And when she was old enough to start suspecting Adam was her father, she would try to remember his features and compare them to herself in the mirror, to try and see if she could prove it for sure, since she knew her mother wasn't ever going to tell her the truth of who her father was.
And yes, Vaggie, Emily, and Charlie are all over 200 years old, though Vaggie is the youngest of the three by about three months. They're all fairly young by Demon/Angel standards, but they're still centuries old by the time we meet them in the series.

You know the "Baby with a Gun" skit? Change "gun" to something like dagger or knife, and that's basically what happened the one time Lute left toddler Vaggie alone with some new recruits for like five minutes.

Baby Vaggie: Mama! Adam: Oh, fuck, Lute. Didn't know your kid started talking. How old's the little bitch now? Two? Three? Lute: She'll be one next month, sir. And please watch your language around Vaggie. I don't want her saying things like that. Adam: Oh, c'mon, Lute, what's the big deal. It's not like the kid even understands what the fuck I'm say- Baby Vaggie: ....Fuck? Adam: ....Don't give me that look, Lute. You can't prove she got it from me.

Lucifer to adam- your daughter calls me dad
Charlie -dad no!
Lucifer is just like "Why's it fine for that Radio demon to say you could call him 'Dad' but I can't make jokes like that?"
And Charlie has to explain that, with Alastor, he didn't mean it in that way, plus, Lucifer doesn't help his case by saying that immediately following him talking about how he "stole" both of Adam's wives in the past. It takes a moment for Lucifer to realize what he accidentally seemed to imply.
