Okay, random thought.

Idle speculation, here. What if things shake out differently, this time. Melinda confronts her mother’s spirit, trapped in the evil and is able to free her mother, so she can at least pass on. The current situation is resolved. Seng, Edred and Melinda are finally laid to rest. Emma, Dimitri and Alfie reemerge. But in a twist of fate, they inherit the powers. 

Emma has the shadow magic, Dimitri has  Edred’s combat skill and perhaps even Quillian. Alfie keeps Seng’s connection to the Astral.  Emma finally marries WInston, who’s getting his werewolf issues under control, they adopt Alfie, because why not. At first Dimitri is ready to hit the road, but Winston asks him to stay and even offers to help him find more stable work. 

 They settle back into their own lives, with some adjustments. But, every once in a while, when danger rear’s it ugly head, they jump in to help out. My god, did Genndy just invent the Fantastic Four, steampunk magic edition?

The lady fox from Unicorn: Warriors Eternal. I'm actually quite surprised at how few people have drawn her. You'd think they'd be all over her. I'm still not sure sure what to make of this show. I always love Genndy's work. That first season of Primal being my absolute favorite. It's just I unfortunately have learned not to hold my breath when it comes to endings for Genndy shows. For whatever reason, whether that be network time contraints or something else, he just never executes a good ending. Unicorn is interesting so far and it's gaining momentum, but I wouldn't say it was an immediate attention grabber. Samurai Jack and Primal, the first episode, I knew I loved those shows. The First Teaser For Genndy Tartakovsky’s Unicorn Warriors Eternal

Adult Swim debuted the first trailer for Unicorn Warriors Eternal, the upcoming animated fantasy anthology series from Samurai Jack and Primal creator Genndy Tartakovsky, on Wednesday. The series, which premiered at the 2022 Annecy International Animation Film Festival and was previewed at New York Comic Con last October, will premiere on May 4th at midnight on Adult Swim. A 10-episode mini-series in the vein of 2014’s Over the Garden Wall, the supernatural steampunk animated action series’ premise sounds reminiscent of Tartakovsky’s own Sym Bionic Titan by way of the 2003 Samurai Jack episode “The Birth of Evil.” It centers on a team of primordial heroes who repeatedly reincarnate throughout history in order to fight an ancient evil. The trailer describes Unicorn Warriors Eternal as an animated series that’s “a lifetime in the making,” which isn’t too far off from the truth. According to a press release, the origins of Tartakovsky’s new show date as far back as the beginning of his career with Cartoon Network. The show was created and directed by Tartakovsky. Character designs were done by Stephen DeStefano, music by Tyler Bates and Joanne Higginbottom, and sound effects design by Joel Valentine. All of those artists worked together on the Emmy-winning series Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal. The voice cast for Unicorn Warriors Eternal is led by Hazel Doupe, Tom Milligan, and Demari Hunte. In a release, Tartakovsky explained: This show was created in my early days at Cartoon Network Studios more than 20 years ago. All the projects we worked on — Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, and Sym-Bionic Titan — were like a training ground getting us ready for this series.
