Click, Clack, Clack, Click.

Went the keyboard, its meticulous user frequently glancing over towards the sides of their digital displays to gaze upon the distant stars only to studiously insert that collected data seamlessly into a constantly shifting, isometric, graph.

Her mind wandered, eyes analyzing the distant constructs and her fellow monster-kin simply going about their usual duties without a care in the world. U-Pasokon found this lackadaisical, jaunty attitude… challenging to grasp wholly. Having been born from a personal computer, the Daimon’s mind functioned identical to one. Constantly asking questions and computing scenarios, replaying them, and navigating through a seemingly infinite storehouse of knowledge contained within the cyberspace. At times, it even overwhelmed her being.

Always thinking, imagining, and with an insatiable appetite of learning new information. This mebairt never impacted her social relationships or camaraderie, but it did affect her own perception of self. She was a scientist by nature, the head scientist of the Moon’s Crystal City, which resulted in attempting to perceive all avenues logically rather than emotionally.

Whilst your wits are of grim importance, “following your gut.” as she’s been told, is equally imperative. Logic is logic, but it does not supersede empathy or even common sense. A lesson she’s been fortunate to learn.

The brisk beeping of her terminal snapped them out of their express train of thought, announcing a rather vexatious warning. Letting out a prolonged sigh, U-Pasokon swiped away her star charts with a finger, bringing up said notification.

She assumed it was another false alarm, initiated by Regulus or Nekonneru toying with the city’s security systems once again. A common occurrence, given the feline monsters’ proclivities for disrupting logistics at their leisure.

Just as she prepared to dismiss the alarm, an unknown signal popped up on the radar. Blinking, flashing, and… approaching closer with every second. Odd. Pasokon thought silently. Recent surveillance and predictions hadn’t predicted any potential asteroids on a wayward collision nor human missions to the moon.

But then another dot propped up. And another… and another. Until the radar blipped with increasing dots every passing second. Those… Those couldn’t be asteroids.

Darting out of the tower, past the door, descending the stairs, and reaching the outdoor balcony, U-Pasokon observed the endless cosmos stretching above like a blanket. Crystal clear with only the faint twinkling of distant stars. Even her on-board scanners failed to pick up anything worthwhile.

Growing increasingly uneasy, a sudden flash of light engulfed her lithe frame, quickly transforming her body into a ground-based, space telescope hybrid. Tilting the mirror upwards and multiplying the magnification- her fears were given form. Invaders. Invaders clad in white, cream colored scintillating armors. Swiftly transforming back into her normal form, she turned and without reservations nor hesitations shouted-

“COMMANDER CENICIENTA! WE’RE UNDER IMMINENT INVASION! A CURSORY ANALYSIS OF OPPOSITIONAL FORCES, IMPLIES A SEVERE TACTICAL DEFICIENCY!”

Other notes

Despite female youma outnumbering males nearly 5 to 1, the Seven Great Youma almost reverse this, with five males and two females.

There are more female youma than male monsters of the week combined.

Chiral and Achiral may not actually be droids, since they bear the Black Moon crest on their foreheads and don't turn to sand when killed. However, Wikimoon lists them as droids, and so I will too.

Phages are the only type of MotW where males outnumber females, and the most balanced genderwise.

The second-most balanced genderwise are lemures, due in part to the fact that both the Amazon Trio and Amazoness Quartet have members that exclusively use male lemures.

U-Pasokon.

A former Daimon creation of Mimete and living computer, once revived by the might of the Silver Crystal, Pasokon serves as the Crystal City’s foremost scientist and researcher.

Brilliant as she is eloquently spoken, Pasokon’s defining trait is her eccentric verbosity. A trait unseen in her former life, but attained once purified and allowed proper rational thought.

Although her unique vernacular and necessity to over-explain virtually any topic given the opportunity can occasionally annoy her comrades and friends.

Granted the gift of full-body transformation, U-Pasokon transforms into a high-tech supercomputer in desktop form AND a powerful, high magnification refractory telescope capable perceiving images on the microscope scale.

In addition, her previous powers alongside some new ones awakened through training and research.

Her ability to summon "Computer Mice" to entangle, survey, or even function in unusual circumstances like a zip line or tight rope remains.

The desktop computer that comprises her breastplate (and by extension bra) is apart of her body. It is, however, removable. Her brain can compute or conceive any image and data, displaying it on the screen for anyone to view.

She’s a walking calculator too and can plug herself up into interfaces and share information.

One of the lesser used, but still important ability is being able to reach inside of her screen and pull out materialized objects. For example, if the image of a teddy bear is on her screen, someone can reach into it and pull out said teddy bear.

All in all, Pasokon is a woman of science, the classical and modern arts. Her keen perception of any variety of hypothetical scenarios is indubitably an irreplaceable asset~
