Fun Fact
BuzzFeed published a report claiming that Tumblr was utilized as a distribution channel for Russian agents to influence American voting habits during the 2016 presidential election in Feb 2018.
Genuinely sad that Roman Emperors: Totalus Rankium is very nearly over and I no longer will have cause to think about the Roman Empire on a weekly basis.
.... actually, I'll just start over for the third time. It's a really good show.
What’s your dream podcast crossover? Doesn’t have to be another role-play one, btw. It could be a lasagna podcast for all I care.

I have to brag about something cool that happened to me today, I got quoted on one of my favorite podcasts, American Presidents: Totalus Rankium. It's basically two British guys humorously discussing and ranking American presidents.
A while ago, they did the first part of their coverage of Obama, and they opened the second part by quoting the comment I made on the first part. It was something along the lines of 'a very boring person living a very interesting life'. Sorry, Obama, but it's true, and the hosts agreed with me. <3
so i've been listening to totalus rankium at a frankly embarrassing rate - i'm talking 7/8 a day - and while i have MANY comments on who they have(n't) given je na caesar to (i'm just saying, valentinian ii was ROBBED), i'm about to listen to majorian and i swear if they don't give it to my boi i will walk to coventry myself and throw THEM to the lions
If you’re a fan of American History and want to hear all of our American presidents ranked, try out Rob and Jamie’s newest podcast, American Presidents: Totalus Rankium. They also do the Roman Emperors: Totalus Rankium, if you just like history in general and want to hear the Roman Emperors ranked! These guys make history entertaining. Is on Podbean right now and their waiting for iTunes to validate. Go listen!!!
ICYMI: On Monday our heroes had their climactic showdown against Aegon! It’s a duel to the death, where all bets are off and our heroes find fatal peril awaiting them from every source, including real-life Roman Emperors.
WHY ARE YOU GUYS *NOT* TALKING ABOUT THIS PODCAST?!?!
I’m going to take a break from my GOT madness for a moment to ask why you guys are NOT listening to Roman Emperors: Totalus Rankium? Or better yet, why aren’t we talking about it? How does it not have a fandom?
If you like Ancient Roman history, or not, this podcast is not only informative, but funny and engaging. It’s way to easy to drone on about history for an hour, littering it with facts and ignoring the absolute fun parts of it all. In the span of a few months, I’ve worked (literally. I’m at work while I listen) my way from Augustus to Honorius, though the podcasts promises me a trip through the history of the Roman Emperors up until Augustulus.
These two guys, Rob and Jamie are funny and take a hilarious approach to fill the blanks in these Emperors’ lives. With fun (fictional) characters like Roger, the messenger and Jeff of the Jeffii family to help tell the story, they give you the history lesson YOU WISH you had in high school.
Take a walk through time with Commodus and Caligula (wait until you find out what that name means) and Claudius’s pet rock. Meet the scandalous Elagabalus and Pupienus (pronounced Poopy Anus).
History is way more fun than you may have thought and I think this is a podcast anyone and everyone can enjoy. TRY IT and then let’s TALK ABOUT IT!
