A report just came out from a Palestinian hostage saying he was strapped with bombs and sent into a Hamas tunnel, with Israel prepared to blow the tunnel up with his body if fighters were found inside and yet people are still making the “Hamas uses human shields” arguments that have been confirmed to be a myth with no supporting evidence

AeschTunes News Report: Mike Peters Health Update
I dusted off my YouTube channel and have started adding some content to it. A video I put together and uploaded was an “AeschTunes News Report” segment about a health update for Mike Peters, the lead singer of The Alarm.
I don’t know how often I’ll be making videos for my YouTube account, but I’ll try to get AeschTunes News Reports up when I can for major music news.

World Party Founder, Former Waterboy Karl Wallinger Dies at 66
Karl Wallinger has died at 66.
The man “better known as the singular force behind World Party” and a former member of the Waterboys died March 10 at 66, Wallinger’s publicist said in a statement. No cause of death was given.
“Travel on well, my old friend,” the Waterboys’ Mike Scott said. “You are one of the finest musicians I’ve ever known.”
After leaving the Waterboys, Wallinger founded World Party in 1986. The band released five albums between 1987’s Private Revolution and 2000’s Dumbing Up and scored such hits as “Ship of Fools,” “Put the Message in the Box,” “Is it Like Today?” and “She’s the One.”
“So sorry to hear Karl Wallinger has passed away,” Ian Prowse said. “A genuinely magnificent songwriter, not many have as many great tunes as Karl did.”
The Alarm drummer Nigel Twist played with Wallinger in a pre-fame band called PAX. Though the two “went our musical separate ways for many years,” they remained friends and had planned to record together again.
“Alas,” Twist said.
“His songs never fail to reach deep inside and touch your soul,” he said. “No matter how you feel, his music would fill you with joy and hope and above all, love, for a better world. I’m going to miss you; travel well, Karl.”

The Alarm - Declaration (IRS) 1984
The Alarm – “Declaration” (IRS IRSA 7044) February 1984
Taped album: 23/04/84
Like a beached whale, the Alarm huff and puff, look very impressive, and get nowhere.
The great raucous sound exemplified on “Marching On” is really the start and finish of the Alarm story. That early single proved that there was a band out there with energy, a unique acoustic sound, and more power than an…
