I read kinda 26 books this month.  Kinda because after a few pages I DNF “Release” and “Execution” both by Lucia Franco.  So I really read 24 books.
I could read more but during my trip in London I wanted more to enjoy my holiday in one of my favorite place then stay in the hotel or in one place and read all day.
Other thing I just noticed is that I apparently didn’t read a thriller each Friday like I planned in August … without true reason.
Concerning the Off Balance serie by Lucia Franco, I wanted to read the other books after the first one … but after the first chapters from the second book, I dislike everything and didn’t want to continue the serie.  I tried to read a few chapters from the third book … it didn’t getting better at least for me so I stopped with the serie.  I might try to read another book from Lucia to see if I might like it … we never know right?
Other books who were also a deception for me and I gave them 3 stars:
- “Pink” by Jason Collins - “The Bet” by J.L. Beck and Cassandra Hallman - “Too Tempting” by Bethany Lopez - “Catching Orion” by Sloane Kennedy: I have difficulties with reading a novella nowadays and like it because it’s so rushed up, it becomes too unrealistic.  This one was for me difficult to follow in the beginning and even if it was cute, I wasn’t really into it.
I gave also 3 stars to two other books but I wanted to give them more a 3.5:
- “Misbehaved” by Charleigh Rose - “Absinthe” by Winter Renshaw There were “nice” taboo stories with an interesting twist but not enough for me to love them more than that.
The big surprise for me this month was “Scoring Wilder” by R.S. Grey.  Last year, I read my first book from this author “Not So Nice Guy” and I didn’t like the book.  I gave it 3 stars but since R.S. Grey is so much loved by the fans and “Not So Nice Guy” isn’t apparently a book that their fans are passionated about, I decided to give the author another chance with “Scoring Wilder” … and OMG I LOVED IT!  It might be at time too sugar but I really enjoyed my reading.  So while I planned to read hopefully this year the “spinoff” The Summer Games series, for the rest of her books I will follow the “score” on Goodreads and start to read the ones who have 4 and more.  It’s not the first author with whom I have the same problem (Tijan for example) but that is why I try to read at least 2 books before putting them on my favorite authors list.  I gave to “Scoring Wilder” a good 4 stars.
But it wasn’t the only book I gave 4 stars:
- “Chasing Evil” by Kylie Brant - “Desolate” by Autumn Grey - “Cruel Prine” by Ashley Jade - “The Surviving Trace” by Calia Read - “The Reigning And The Rule” by Calia Read - “This For That” by Bella Jewel - “You For Her” by Bella Jewel - “Chasing Chance” by M.E. Parker - “Pretend You’re Mine” by Sloane Kennedy - “Pestilence” by Laura Thalassa
I gave 4 stars on Goodread to the book “Bailey And The Bad Boy” by R. Linda but I wanted to give it 4.5 stars.  It was very cute but I was a little bit confused with how fast the beginning of the relation between Bailey and Ryder went.  It felt a little bit unreal and Bailey’s friend Emily was getting on my nerves.  I didn’t want to read the second book since it was about her and her love story but since there are more than 2 books, I might try it.  I can skip and read the third one but since the second book is the continuation of the first book except of the protagonists, I think it’s better that I read the second book before I read the third one.
My favorite books of the month to whom I gave 5 stars to :
- “Pretty Little Killers” by Rita Herron: the thriller part was heavy and the romance was cute lol - “Fraternize” by Rachel Van Dyken: Rachel strike again for me with this book.  It was once again a huge and lovely surprise!  But then that is why Rachel Van Dyken is one of my favorite authors ... - “Challenge Accepted” by Amanda Abram … too cute!!! - “Play With Me” and “Promise Me” by Rebel Hart are for me a new Romeo and Juliette love story in a certain way … I found Clint stupid at first but I love Rae strengh and arriving in the middle of the book, I felt in love with them!  I’m impatient to read the third book who will be released this month!
