This is a romance, with a twist. A great take of the right person at the wrong time trope. This love story captured my attention and I was all in from beginning to end. Filled full of angst, instant chemistry, steamy scenes, as well as an interesting family dynamic.

Briar agrees to be her new boss Burke’s fake fiancé for eight weeks while visiting his family’s private island. If they can pull this off, she will walk away $1 million richer and her boss’s father gets to spend his last days thinking his son is happily in love again.

But there’s one big problem…Dorian, the man Briar met at a bachelorette and bachelor tropical getaway a year ago, the man she spent three gloriously, delicious nights with, and who asked her to wait for him for two years, is the brother of her boss! Oh yeah, she is in deep heartbreak mode over it and since she signed an NDA, she can’t tell him that their relationship is fake.

The way this story is told was what had me captivated. It switches back and forth from a year ago to present day from both Briar, and Dorians perspectives. With every trip to the past their chemistry grows, as you are forced to watch them in the present, pretending to not know each other, while really both of their hearts were breaking. The pining was epic! I have always loved dual POV since you can see what is going on in their mind. But this was all so emotional. Will they be able to weather this situation and come out on the other side? You will need to read to find out!

SECRETS OF A SIN - REMI ROSE. i am so mad at this book. the premise was that a girl finds her classmate dead and then hooks up with the dead girls brother as they try to figure out who did it. doesnt that sound so fucking good. it had a FANTASTIC scene of them fucking in a library. and then the rest of the book was bad.

stalked by the boogie man - siggy shade. i am pulling out every weird fucking book i have read this year. this book. you think it's going to be like. oooooo monster under the bed fucks her. NO. it's a 400+ page witch story where all of the women in the coven thing HATE the main character for no reason and the "boogie man" isn't actually like, a boogie man, he's some weird creature with beef with the main character from a past life that she doesn't remember and it doesn't make any sense. anyway he DOES fuck her WITH A FOUR HEADED COCK BTW. what's the point of giving him a four headed cock if he's going to eat her out the entire time. there's ONE sex scene where he fucks her with his weird four headed cock. one head on each side of her pussy holding her open, one on her clit, and then one penetrating her. don't you DARE ask me how this makes sense.

that peter pan sexy reverse harem retelling - nikki st james. i have read all of the ones that are out. theyre so bad. the sex scenes arent even fun. theres better reverse harems out there. i can recommend them. please stop putting these books on the goodreads dashboard.
