Hopefully we will see these three get medals in the Olympics in 2024🥇😤
Sydney - 400m, 400m Hurdles, and the 4x400
Noah Lyles- 4x1, 200m, and 100m
Sha'carri - 100m, 4x100,200m
Will Update this next year😉
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's also to hoping they all break the Olympic records 👌🏿. What's crazy is that Sha'carri could potentially do it for two events as seen above. Also to note Lyles broke the WC record held by Michael Johnson by 0.01 seconds. It would be crazy if he did the same with Bolts Olympic record 💯

SYSTEMS CREATE REALITIES
I am certainly not the first, much less the only, scribe to address this issue. But for the moment, forget about who didn’t show up at the inaugural USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix on May 26th. A lot was made of who wasn’t there – Athing Mu, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone – but in fact, headliners not showing up to track meets is an age-old athletics problem, a circumstance that reminds us how…

Read the full article

[ad_1] BUDAPEST : Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic qualified fastest in the first round of the women's 400 metres at the World Athletics Championships on Sunday, a race left open by the absence of injured Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.McLaughlin-Levrone, the world record holder over 400m hurdles and fastest in the world this year over the flat, had planned to race the latter in Budapest, but withdrew two weeks ago with knee issue. With Olympic and defending world champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo able to manage only seventh in her heat four months after having a baby, Paulino has a great opportunity to claim her first individual global gold. She was the silver medallist last year and at the Tokyo Olympics, is the second-fastest in the field this season, and won the final heat by a street in 49.90, the only sub-50 minute time on a blazingly-hot morning.Poland's Natalia Kaczmarek, Cynthia Bolinga of Belgium and Jamaican Candice McLeod were not far behind as all three qualified from a fast opening heat.Sada Williams of Barbados, bronze medallist last year and the Commonwealth Games champion, also looked sharp before slowing almost to a walk when winning her heat. The semi-finals are on Monday with the final on Wednesday. WeGotNow | New Balance
youtube
New Balance unveiled the latest installment of its global ‘We Got Now’ campaign. The 15-second spot features two-time MLB All-Star and 2021 American League MVP Shohei Ohtani, the newest member of the New Balance family, appearing for the first time in New Balance's global brand campaign.
The video is the first in a series of campaign spots that will launch over the course of 2023 and feature New Balance athletes and ambassadors including Coco Gauff, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, IU, and more. The 2023 spots showcase the effortless confidence that comes from those bold enough to embrace the present and the possibility of ‘the now’, particularly in the more intimate moments - not just on the world’s biggest stages.
“‘We Got Now’ celebrates the spirit of the present moment, something that I feel passionate about in my career and in my life,” says Shohei. “When we are living in a world that’s future-focused and increasingly uncertain, now is everything.”
This latest installment of the ‘We Got Now’ campaign will launch in Japan in concert with the World Baseball Classic and around the opening of Major League Baseball in North America. The campaign was concepted and produced with VMLY&R, a global full-service marketing agency based in New York City, and will also include global out of home installments and social media content.
‘We Got Now’ will live on NewBalance.com and on New Balance’s social media channels, as well as media placements throughout 2023. Past campaign spots have featured Kawhi Leonard, Sadio Mane, Raheem Sterling and Bukayo Saka.
