Living rurally has been a HUGE difference in life, i lived in suburbs before and directly in the inner city, and its incredibly different. I live in a small house with my family now, but im also on 3 and a half acres of land, that we can do whatever we want on. The wildlife is amazing, im talking deer a couple feet from your window, wild turkeys strolling across your yard, coyotes in the distance. We have two ponds, one stocked with fish, one stocked with frogs, and theyre pretty neat!

Its so quiet as well, no planes, no traffic, no loud neighbors, only wildlife and the occasional shotgun shot in the distance. We can burn our trash now, no police pulling up 3 times a month for rowdy neighbors anymore.

Its a lot of work, renovations, yard maintenence, ripping up decks, cleaning out mouse infested sheds, eventually taking care of animals, but its worth it in the end, when you can look out at all the land you own and just know that its yours, and its great!
