Here is a sketch of the flowers I got for my birthday last week (from my daughters partner). Even the cats got excited with a new cardboard box (that the flowers came in) to play in. The other day I bought green chillies at the supermarket, but they only seemed to sell them in huge quantities. We only use a few each week at best, and then the rest of them go off, so I looked up a recipe to pickle them. Naturally after doing the pickling I sketched the result.
