Little blog update

Hello everyone! :D

I really wanted to do a little blog update since the last time I posted was just around a year ago. At that time I wasn't doing the best mentally and was struggling with guilt for not rebloging more of the incredible Undertale art due to the lack of mental and emotional energy.

You all supported me so much and told me it was completely ok to just reblog and not pressure myself to add personalized and long tags to everything I reblog and... I have!

Last year in January this was the situation:

I had posted around 4000 posts in 5 years and accumulated 4000 drafts in that same time span and things have changed... a lot @_@

Not only have I been able to clear out all the drafts, everything was queued (in groups of 1000 posts cause dumblr only allows a 1000 post queue -_-) but I have been keeping the queue full for the whole year! It hasn't dropped below 850 queued posts during that whole time, despite me posting between 35-50 post daily (I raise the daily posts when the queue gets too full).

How many posts is that, you might wonder? :3

This whole year I posted ~4000 old drafts, ~7000 new ones and almost 1000 are in the queue still! And that's not even all of the art that I saw, just the stuff I could fit in my queue! This fandom is freaking incredible guys! We are going strong and creating so so so much wonderful stuff!

I just wanna say how happy I am to see the fandom still going so strong! Thank you everyone who keeps creating and making every day a discovery and a joy to exlore.

currently watching: I haven’t really been watching any shows in years (Good omens is probably the only multi-episode show I watched in ages) sooooo nothing :/ I’m mostly just listening to different youtube channels while I work or craft, mostly reddit-stories cause those don’t require me watching the video... does that count?

currently reading: nothing and it’s killing me Q_Q I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump for the last year due to irl burnout so I haven’t really been able to read. But I plan to catch up to all the freaking incredible fanfics that I missed :3

current obsession: still Undertale! And crafting with clay, alcohol inks, mica powders, metal leaf sheets, wire and other materials. It’s really fun and I made quite a few things I’m really proud of :D

Everyone, I have a probably dumb question...

I have more than 4000 drafts of UT art and fics that I wanted to reblog and comment on but never had the time or energy to write tags and comments for (for comparison I have a little over 4000 posts on this 5 year old blog so you can imagine how much work it would be >.>;;;).

My question is... would it be ok if I queued everything without tags or comments? 

I really want to share it all but I don’t have the time or mental energy to write something for each post, but I feel bad for not showing how much I loved the post... but if you guys are ok with me just rebloging things without the gushing or tags I could be more active again and reblog a lot more here.

Would that be ok? 

I know it’s usually ok to just reblog, that it helps artist and writers and I have been feeling bad for not supporting everyone more but I also feel bad for only rebloging without any feedback... help me out please? I need some opinions on which is better to do?

I do flavored seltzers when I can’t get myself to drink water. Also dropping in sliced fruit, berries, or cucumbers into the water helps too. There are water bottles with inserts so you can put those things in and it won’t interfere with your drinking - little cages for your fruits.

I mostly don't like the flavored seltzers we have here cause they add too much sugar or artificial sweeteners and it makes the water taste a bit iffy to me. And I kinda don't wanna drink sugar water cause if I do, I'd rather stick to sodas then. Oh, and the price of flavored seltzers is like $1.5/0.25 gallon (€1.4/1 liter), which is not cheap at all >.>

The fruit inserts/cages don't add enough flavor for my brain to really register it, at least not enough for me to like the water more. And it's pretty pricey to do when fruit isn't in season :(

That's mostly why I'm asking about that bottle with scent, it doesn't really add anything to the water (you still drink plain water) and it should add enough taste for the brain to go "ah! this is juice! yum! :D"

I do drink fruit drinks (like lemonade with added fruits, or shakes with mixed fruits) but it's too expensive for the expected daily fluid intake... especially with the recent price increases (prices went up by 20-30% due to some bull in my country ._.).

This is for this ask game!

💞what's the most important part of a story for you? the plot, the characters, the worldbuilding, the technical stuff (grammar etc), the figurative language

Ohhhh! This is a very nice question!

For me, it would be a tie between characterization and worldbuilding, with either needing to be good to hook me to a fic. If a fic does characterization very well (everyone is completely in character) then I don't mind the worldbuilding being pretty basic. And if the worldbuilding is incredible I don't care if the characterization is very OOC. But give me both of those and you have my little reader heart at your feet... figuratively speaking :P

The rest (plot, grammar...) I of course appreciate a lot as well but they aren't my first pick.

One exception is lack of paragraphs. If the fic is just one wall of text without breaks in lines I'm out before any of the other stuff even has a chance to shine cause my poor brain just goes *bzzzzt* and I forget how to read >.>

🌈is there a fic that you worked *really fucking hard on* that no one would ever know? maybe a scene/theme you struggled with?

It took me a bit to think about this and tbh most of the fics are easy once I have a scene I wanna write (like the focal point of a one-shot) but one fic I had trouble on was my only Alphys/Undyne fic (Dorks give the best anniversary gifts) cause I had a hard time keeping them in character (not sure if I even managed >.>).

Besides that any fic that isn't a one-shot is torture for my poor writing brain and idk why XD

I also have some problems when it comes to drinking water, I started using red food dye and adding that to the water. Seeing the color makes it almost taste like strawberries even though it's only flavorless dye. I'm not sure if it could help you, but hey
