WIP Wednesday!

I feel SO insecure about this. But, okay, fine. I'm just gonna do it, also to hold myself accountable, and to just try and shake off the nerves. Here's a snippet of the first fic I've been working on. It takes place in the locker room during Fight Night, where Frankie and reader are alone.

Your mind is on tape delay when you hear the creaking of door hinges, followed by quick footsteps, Santiago’s voice bright and loud. “Fish? Are you guys…?”

The tremble running through Frankie’s body is unmistakable. His fingers roughly slide back into your heat as he grabs your ass with his free hand, and the stutter of his warm breath against your clit is almost too much.

“Oooh, you slut”, you gasp, not even thinking about what exactly it is that you’re saying. Unable to hold back the giggle that suddenly blooms in your chest, you push yourself closer against him. “You like that?”

He whimpers as he nods against you, the strong curve of his nose pushing right where you want it, and all common sense just leaves your head. You know damn well why he licks you with even more vigor than before.

It’s an unspoken thing between the two of you, pretty much since you started dating a year ago; the way that Frankie’s eyes will sometimes linger on Santi when he thinks nobody is watching. Especially late at night after several drinks. And there’ve been plenty of times that you found yourself looking at Pope the same way, unable to resist. But you know better than to bring any of that up for discussion.

At least, you used to know better. Just like you know that right now you should really, really make him stop before Santi walks in on the two of you. Taking a deep breath, you try to pull yourself together enough to say so. You have to. You’re in a fucking locker room during Fight Night, for fuck’s sake.

“Frankie?”, Santiago calls again, and you know you’ve got less than three seconds before he’s turning the corner.

I'm still finishing up the beta-round on @mysterious-moonstruck-musings's chap 22 (which y'all LOVE because her story is amazing!), but once that's done I'm determined to finish and share this first (stand alone) fic before the end of the week. Even if it's just no good. (I've never written 'x reader' before so it's a bit of a struggle.)

Just wanted to share this with you because you are my fellow Santiag(h)o(e), but it's a little chilly today so I put on some boots, jeans, a green oversized denim jacket, and t-shirt underneath. I felt cute in my outfit, but then I looked in the mirror again and realized this 100% looks like a Santi outfit. Now I'm thinking maybe I stole his jacket on accident since I was sleepy that morning when I was getting dressed and you and Santi meet with the boys at the bar that night for trivia night and they're all teasing you for dressing as him 😅

His aesthetic? He probably doesn’t get a single question right at trivia night because he keeps looking adoringly over at you and missing everything the announcer says.

Also this look defo reminds me of Oscar’s look on his Headwounds promo day. (Maybe he woke up and accidentally dressed as Santi too 😂)

And here’s him jacketless ‘cause you stole it! (I know it looks like there’s no-one else at trivia night, but maybe the boys relegated him to a corner since he got zero questions right) 😝

P.s. I once accidentally dressed as Frankie, cord jacket and all. Maybe we should team up. Hey, we just need an accidental Will and a Benny and we’ve got the full crew 🤣
