he is only fnf lullaby gold when it's funny for him to be fnf lullaby gold.

his relationship with celebi is heavily based on the relationship between oscar and ozpin in rwby in terms of the 'our souls are now combined and will merge into one someday' thing.

he was going to have limbs originally as part of his illusion, albeit faded out at the ends with a visible skeleton. that was hard to draw icons for, and the giant sleeves also make it easier on me so i don't have to draw hands. on a character note, it also makes sense for him to prioritize looking relatively 'clean' over giving himself limbs.

he still has the single gooey unown limb from kirm's pizzano. unlike most golds with a full set, he can only spawn one at a time and primarily focuses on arms with it. i just haven't found a reason to use it yet.

on that note, it's not a fully fledged limb, but droopy and goopy and highly unstable.

gold's tags are drawn from two sources. one is obviously juno songs' cover of monochrome with lyrics, the other is 'no more' by longestsoloever (highly underrated song btw. hope he does an acoustic version of it soon).

despite the massive amount of dark topics and creepypastas being 'le epic crínge', i have NEVER gotten anon hate on gold's blog. starting to suspect that contrary to popular belief, people can write dark topics without getting reamed as long as they properly warn and tag every post.

gold is an EXCELLENT deterrent against known homophobes in the nintendo RPC thanks to being ooky spooky scary.

"T-Typhlosion?"

'Please' looks up from the berry she's currently munching on to face Gold, who lies on top of the unmade bed in his room. Since coming home, he's been pretty exhausted, between all the problems with Hypno and the sister-killing snake Noise. His dad's dealing with a few people in the living room, but otherwise it's been pretty quiet.

Celebi's been in and out as well, flittering in and out of the apartment. Gold couldn't catch a lot of what it was muttering about; something about a Time Lord and a shrine? He hadn't gotten a chance to ask, either.

At the very least, his memory's been jogged enough to remember something.

"Hmm? What is it now, boy?" She sets her berry down.

"Back at Elm's lab, when I first got you... I gave you a nickname. But it wasn't Please." Gold rolls onto his stomach, propping his head off the side of the bed like a baby Seel. "Do you... remember?"

For a second, the Typhlosion goes quiet, her paws clasping over her mouth in disbelief. Her good eye tears up as his question sinks into her, her small ears twitching in response. Of course she remembers. She's always remembered. She had waited so long for the day Gold's memory would catch up with hers.

"Typhlosion?" Gold lifts his head up, concerned. "Are you--?"

He finds himself scooped up into his starter's arms, held close like one of her newly-hatched Cyndaquil. She nuzzles him, overwhelmed.

"Noa," she says, after a lifetime of anticipation, "You named me Noa."

PRINCE OF THE FOREST -- VERSE OVERVIEW

I don't feel so good. Something evil is growing in me. It's burrowing in my stomach, taking root through my veins.

Gold was used to finding himself in uncharted territory. So when he took a turn into the woods, he didn't question it. Didn't worry about the darkness. Didn't question the rotting forest. Only saw the warning signs when he lost track of his team members. It was then that he ran into... HIM.

I DON'T FEEL SO GOOD I DON'T FEEL SO GOOD I DON'T FEEL SO GOOD I DON'T--

He emerged. Changed.

Still fundamentally Gold. He's not possessed, nor has he been taken over by a parasite. His personality has simply been... twisted to allow his crueler instincts to take over.

Emotionless and remorseless, but VERY good at pretending to be his previous self.

Two viney arms have been implanted within his flesh and are hidden underneath his cloak. He cannot make them disappear. They are the only tells that something is wrong.

The other tell: he cannot make white pupils appear in his sockets anymore. They will always be black and hollow.

All powers he received from Celebi have been amplified thanks to the King's influence. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. APPROACH WITH CAUTION.

His main Pokémon are alive, yet don't know where he is. Celebi has fallen ill. They have joined up with Silver while on the search for their missing trainer.

No longer has a team of six. Rather, his powers allow him influence over Grass, Poison, Psychic, and Dark types. If you see a pack of Oddish or Carnivine with blank, white eyes, run.

Can often be found with His Majesty. Mostly answers to 'the Prince' or 'His Highness'. Will seldom respond to 'Gold'.

Still can communicate with Unown, but they too have blank white eyes.

He still won't kill you. But you'll wish he did.

Gold has a... healing factor, of sorts. His body is permanently fixed in the state it was in at the time of death by default, and it takes approximately 48 hours at minimum for it to reset back to that state should he be injured or otherwise. It could take longer depending on how severe of a state he's been left in, but it will reset itself eventually.

This includes his hair, unless he has far more severe injuries to heal first (ie. if you set him on fire).
