I can’t find any rules so if your uncomfortable plz feel free to ignore this but I recently found out that when a afab person sits on someone else lap, they can feel the *throb™*
So I’m currently thinking what would Sebek do if during the Masquerade s/o fem!reader ended up sitting on his lap and he felt the throb. What would he do? Would he get hard or would he wonder what it is?
Can I be ✨🎀 anon plz? If you do those kinds of anon thingies lol
Omg of course???!?!?! It's been so long since I've taken an ask from a named anon what you're so nice 😭😭😭
AND YOU HAD TO PULL A SCENARIO FROM MY FAVORITE EVENT TOO ILY
((Grinding, manipulation/gaslighting(??), boners (lol), slight exhibitionism(?? If you squint i think) more big boy words and can't really think or anything else as a description, IM SORRYYY I NEED CHARACTER EXAGGERATION IT'S AN ADDICTION))
Well, well. Back to lap sitting. It seems you all have a certain taste.
Boring answer is he feels it, gets embarrassed, and asks you to get up before he even begins to feel anything. He'd probably offer you his seat and walk off to find another seat he can sit down in. He's red faced, but that's it.
Fun answer?
I believe that Sebek WILL know where it's coming from. I'm sure he has some knowledge in sex ed or smth and if he doesn't, he's still very smart. He can make the connection and what was causing it easily. And when he looks up at you in concealed confusion, he can tell by your nonchalant expression that you aren't doing it on purpose. He assumes it's a natural thing that you shouldn't be ashamed of. So, by that logic, if you feel something hardening under your ass, surely you can understand that it's just natural, right? It's nothing to freak out over, I mean, who wouldn't get hard when there's such a darling sitting in his lap?
And who could possibly have known that something as simple as a pulse could be so alluring?
I mean, if we're talking sweet ol classic Sebek, he'd probably be aaaaabsolutely mortified. His immediate reaction would be to politely tap you on the shoulder and ask you (in the quietest voice he's ever had in his life) to stand so he can use the restroom. He won't even make it to full erection by the time he's flown from the room lol. And as soon as he makes it into semi-privacy, you won't see him for a good while. Well, at least until he can either will his erection to die or pathetically rub one out in a restroom stall like a loser (lmao). Most likely the former. His pride wouldn't allow him to do something so humiliating. If someone heard or caught him whimpering while he spazzes with his dick in his hand mid orgasm he'd truly never show his face in public again.
If you two are in a relationship then maybe he won't be so quick to run away and pitifully consider jacking off to the feeling of you throbbing in his lap- wishing he could feel your throbbing while deliciously stretched around his dick and welcoming every inch deeper into your warm cunt until either he runs out of inches or you run out of space.
No, no. He may just steadily place both hands on each of your thighs and bury his face into the back of your shoulder. Or the crook of your neck depending on how tall you are.
("Please... Just stay here for a moment. I swear that I'll let you up soon.. But for now I need you to stay put... and try not to move too much." )
And uhm.. Mk so you know it's not a Duke post without some sort or freak in there, and I just can not write something without going feral about it and the only way I can go feral about it is if I exaggerate his character so PERVY SEBEK
So if you somehow had managed to sit down in his lap and he feels his zipper area becoming a bit uncomfortable, you'd better have a strong will. The absolute degrading filth this boy will spew into your ears will either have you grinding into his crotch and begging him for more or trying to muffle your hurt/confused sobs. Best believe he ain't going nowhere, and neither are you for your little stunt. Sure, you may not have been intentionally trying to arouse him, but you are the one who insisted on using him as a seat when there are plenty of places to rest. That must have been what you wanted, huh? To see him all red faced and bothered? You probably like seeing him breaking a sweat, lip between his teeth and digging his digits into the underside of the seat. You must loove making him horny. It's like you get a kick out of it. Is it funny for you? To see him in agony?
Well, two can play at that game. Don't even bother acting surprised when he wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you tight to his chest. He might wait for a person or two to pass out of view before his tongue sneaks a quick swipe against your earlobe. His breath is heavy on your neck while he nuzzles his face into your hair. Thank the Seven for the loud(ish) music echoing off the walls, or else anyone a good few feet from you would be able to hear him groaning in your ear. All while one of his hands slowly slides towards the inside of your thigh and gives it a good squeeze.
And don't even think about saying anything. It's all your fault, you know. You just casually decide to sit in a guys lap and act surprised when he gets hard? Just like your enticing second heartbeat, an erection is something that can not be helped sometimes. They can happen anywhere, and every guy can agree to that. So what will it look like when you purposefully sit in his lap, throbbing against his thigh with your ass sat firmly against his crotch? Did you forget you're in a school of boys? They'd understand him in a heartbeat. Some may even say you did it on purpose. You'll only embarrass yourself. So stay still, stay inconspicuous, and stay silent.
Let's be honest, though. He's hanging on by a thread. He's just so embarrassed that you've managed to get him this vulnerable and he's taking that out on you. You feel so warm and smell soo good. It's taking every ounce of restraint to hide his gasps and grunts from the spread crowd around you both. Trust they can't be concealed from you, though. You can hear everything. Not to mention feel everything. It's impossible to ignore him spreading his legs a bit and slowly rolling his hips into you.
If he's miserable and desperate, he'll make you feel even worse. Unless you'd rather sneak away and give him the blow job he deserves for putting up with you. Lend him you pussy for a while and he might even spare you a lecture about public decency once this trip is over. (How hypocritical.)
And he's lying. Of course you'll be getting properly disciplined when this is all over. A hands-on lecture is a must. Best not to worry about that now, though. Just enjoy the moment. He sure is.
("I should have known better than to humor you. To think I actually believed you might have been behaving decently for once.")

Do you edit as you go or do you finish the chapter/scene then edit? I find myself rereading my work after I read and thinking it sucks and stopping it. Do you edit your work? I feel as though I compare myself to writers believing they write so well they don’t edit and that I must suck if i edit so much. So sorry if i’m rambling 😭. Writing is hard.
GORL I edit every word! 75% of the time I spend putting together a new chapter is editing - I edit way more than I actually write! I've spent months on like one page of writing before (not even a whole scene) because I need to keep stepping away from it to read it with fresh eyes and see what's not working. If you read TKOF at all, I can't even tell you how many microversions of certain scenes there have been - Jughead and Veronica's first kiss in that trailer had a few versions before I landed on the final one, their fight in Reggie's room went many directions, their fight in the supply closet also did (and honestly I'm still not sure it's 100% there) - so many scenes! And I often go back to re-read chapters I've already posted and start editing them all over again - if I re-read any chapter of mine right now, I'll find something that reads like hot garbage and edit it guaranteed.
I honestly don't know any writers who don't edit, so in absolutely no way should you think of it as a weakness! I think it's just as crucial a skill to being an engaging writer than the literal writing part. I have like entire scenes of different fics that I've scrapped after determining they just weren't working (I just shove them in a doc called 'extras' lol). So yeah, I am by no means the blueprint lmao but I definitely think your urge to edit is actually a sign that you're a thoughtful writer and hold yourself to a high standard. And if what you're saying is that reading other people's work makes you like yours less when you go back to read it, I've definitely been there too, but you know what it's a cool opportunity for? Challenging yourself to write something new and different from your usual style! I find this happens most often when I've gotten kind of lazy with my writing and haven't been pushing myself to grow, which I notice most when I read something by someone else that really resonates with/hits me, so I try to reframe that subpar feeing into inspiration, you know? And the beautiful thing about fanfic is you can post whatever you want, whenever you want, in whatever style you want, so it's such a great place to be experimental.
TLDR; I edit like a mofo, most of the writing you'll read that inspires you is also probably obsessively edited, and it is absolutely not a bad sign that you feel the desire to edit your things. Editing is how you grow and figure out what works better, so edit away, my friend!

For the writers ask game, please:
23. how do you deal with writers block?
73. how do you visualize scenes? do you see it like a movie in your head, or do the words just flow?
76. what is one essential thing to remember when writing a villain?
99. was being a writer a dream of yours when you were little? or did it spring up when your older? or is it just a hobby?
Thanks for the ask :) these are juicy questions, rambling incoming
23. I have a number of tools in my arsenal to deal with writer's block when it happens. For me, writer's block has to do with not finding the right words for what I'm writing. It rarely has to do with a lack of ideas.
Most often, I go on a really long walk listening to the playlists I have for whatever I'm working on. I've solved so many plot holes this way. Sometimes I switch up my writing medium -- it's easier sometimes to figure out what I want to write when I'm writing on my phone vs my laptop. Sometimes I switch projects -- I have a sugar sweet side project to help me balance myself when I'm deep in the angst trenches in my main project. Sometimes I go reread a book with prose I really enjoy to get the words in my head unstuck. Sometimes I talk to one of my betas about what I have so far and some of my ideas on how to proceed, and they help me out.
Overall, though, I don't really wait for inspiration or motivation to write, I just kinda...push stuff out like a tube of toothpaste for my first draft, and then use my little bursts of inspiration for editing and plotting. The rest is very methodical.
73. I see it like a movie in my head. I typically start writing the parts of the scene that are most vivid, then fill in the fuzzier stuff later. Sometimes if I've got the aforementioned writer's block on a scene I can visualize well, I will "block out" the scene by writing down what's supposed to happen step by step in "unpoetic" words, frame it in brackets, and then work on finding nicer ways to say it later.
76. My number one pet peeve is when villains are evil for the sake of evil, or when villains do shit just to be chaotic. It's stupid, lazy, and unrealistic. I completely ignore the Major and Millennium as an org in all of my Hellsing fics for this reason.
IRL, bad people never think what they are doing is bad. No one sees themselves as the villain. They always have reasons as to why what they're doing is good, or at least justified. IMHO, the best villains are the ones where you can totally see where they are coming from, but they've taken a wrong turn and traveled down a dark path.
With every villain I write, I make sure that what they're doing would make sense from their POV, even if it's obviously messed up to everyone else. In Revelations, one of the main antagonists asserts that she does what she does because she loves and wants to protect her family. She justifies every fucked up thing she does to them as ultimately to their benefit, up to and including hurting them. And I do truly believe she thinks she loves them, but she's a deeply messed up, possessive person -- what does 'love' even mean to someone that fucked up? What does it look like? Not anything good, that's for sure.
There's also another villain who's a little flatter but still internally consistent. He's just an arrogant asshole who's been raised to believe he's better than everyone else, but he believes it with his whole chest and has a whole culture surrounding him that supports those beliefs. None of this "I just wanna see the world burn" edgy 14-year-old shit.
99. You know, originally I was gonna say no, but I did once write a 100-page novella in elementary school, and a shitload of cringe poetry that'll never see the light of day. I RP'd a lot in middle and high school. I got too busy for any hobbies in college and immediately thereafter, but it came back to me in due time. So, I guess I always had the urge to write as a hobby, but I don't think I've ever aspired to be a career writer.
To date, I've only sold one original short story to a publisher, under a pen name. Certain characters, scenes, and worldbuilding/plot concepts will be lifted straight from Revelations into my own original work, but I'm still undecided as to whether I'll ever shoot for publication. I want people to read my stories, and I want to talk about it with them, but I'm intimidated by the prospect of my work being out there and taking on a life of its own, beyond what I ever intended. Writing in relative obscurity is kinda freeing in that way -- you get to write like no one's watching, write like no one is gonna take your words and twist them, write like no one will attribute the absolute worst intentions to you and your work. Idk if I could take the heat if my work ever got attention (which is a big if).

how did u come up with ths webcomic? like the premise, plot, characters, also the title "Hemo"? :>
oh boy, this'll be a long one I liked writing, I liked art, some people I looked up to were making one, so I considered it for a while. So the idea of making it was already bink bornking around in my brain. My base premise was EXTREMELY simple. Literally "cotton candy elf" and from that, Candy as a character was born! She was very generically "sweet and pure", to a fault, without much else going on honestly. Then I decided I needed a character to bounce off of and created Elvira from the simple mold of 'anxious character with a secret'. She was also made for my (very edgy, very ugly, very stupid) first test comic. (Random piece of trivia is that Elvira x Candy was actually the original ship I had in mind for the story.) Then I decided they needed something to do. I decided on a simple 'traveling from A to B' plotline. I also created Estella, as part of the mysteries of Elvira's backstory. Shortly after, I created Surina, as a snarky third member of the trio. I decided she was a half dragon, made a joke that she was the result of a bard's hookup with a dragon and.... and that stuck. Now that's cannon. I made that cannon. Then I somehow accidently managed to write a romance between Candy and Surina, realizing I liked that WAY better than Candy x Elvira and decided to make that cannon instead. Refined the characters beyond their broad archetypes, wrote some side characters, created backstories, character arcs, side plots, ect. Generally just worked from those simple inital premises. Estella gained Main Villain™ status. I briefly toyed with other concepts, but eventually settled back on the concept of a simple 'get from A to B, deal with obstacles along the way' plotline. Then I added some mental breakdowns and sparkly auras! Not sure if this was like AT ALL useful or informative, or just reads as nonsensical rambles. I should probably go back and reread and edit this to make it more coherent but I'm too lazy lmao. Oh! and by the way, I picked the name 'Hemo' because it was short, simple, sufficiently edgy, fitted the premise and themes pretty well, and there didn’t seem to be any other webcomics by that name that I could find. It also sorta just 'felt' right.

Hey I read your fics (even the BNHA even though I haven't seen it yet) and they're all so great!?!
I've been looking for someone to who writes about nishinoya bcs that little man has an unexplainable hold on me and the way you write is just SO comforting and fun to read!
I have a couple of drafts in my word document but its been such a long time since I've last written sth and mostly it was only ever for myself to read, so I'm a bit nervous to upload anything.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you start writing and eventually posting it online?
I hope you have a great day! :)
Thank you so much for this!! :) It really got me thinking tbh lol
I've just always loved writing. I'm literally always writing. I write small things on my notes app, word doc, notebooks. I probably have twenty-thirty fics I'm too lazy to edit or just not satisfied with enough to post and a ton half-deas/random dialogues in my notes app lmao
I've read a lot of guides/articles on my own. I know my weakest areas, so when I'm reading books I pay attention to those sections to learn
I think I started posting because some of my ideas gave me a lot of emotion when I wrote them. I thought if I felt that way someone else might too and that was worth sharing. I mean, I had so many ideas for Noya and he had WAY less content. I felt like I could fill a void for people like me with brainrot at the time lol
idk if it gets less scary haha I'm always nervous. But even if people hate it, I know I'll love rereading it which is worth it
I hope this was what you were looking for and not me rambling about nonsense lmaoo

9, 11, 30, 33, for the ask thingy (bonus 13 cus im struggling with writers block rn and it sucks)
- random anon
hello random anon!! thanks for the ask 💜 as expected, i rambled. i would say sorry but i literally knew this was going to happen. so. i hope you wanted detailed answers...
9. Least favorite trope to write.
this is a hard one! i can't think of any that i actively dislike, but ig...enemies to lovers?? i LOVE reading it, but every time i've tried writing it, it turns out horrible and i never post. so. maybe i'm just too soft for that trope, idk, but its hard to write. thats literally all i can think of-
11. Describe your writing process from scratch to finish.
well. i doubt any of this will make any sense, but lets dive into the terrifying depths of my Writer Brain anyway...
most times, fics start with An Idea. its usually just a random thought i've had, which could be anything from an outfit i would love to see a character wear to the Deepest Darkest Feelings of a certain canon moment - it's varied and fucking wild - and then, i just think. for a few days or weeks maybe, depending on how long i intend the fic to be, i have this fic idea growing in the back of my mind as i start to build up the beginning of a plot, and i outline some goals and things i want to achieve when i write this fic. (i picture it as a little timeline running of into the distance with tags stuck on the Important Plot Points, with relevant words and images, but that's just me. its weird, i know, bare with me.)
once The Idea is settled and some semblance of a plot has been mentally sketched out, i open a doc and just start writing. for longer fics, i may keep a doc for planning - writing down scenes that are in my mind, or random visuals and lines that i think of, and sometimes even song lyrics that i find inspiring for the fic, etc - but for shorter fics, i just dive right in and get writing.
(sidenote: i've found that the process is different for longer fics vs shorter fics. obviously. theres a lotttt more planning for long fics, and i usually end up making a playlist and a pinterest board for them to keep the ideas coming as i write. short fics usually get smashed out in a few hours, probably at midnight, then i edit a little and post. im kinda lazy with editing and rewriting tho. rip.)
now, we come to the writing itself. i like to set aside a fair amount of time for writing, like, i dont just randomly write a line every now and then - i make time for me to sit down for a hour or however long i've got, and focus on writing. i follow the hazy map of plot points in my mind, and i fill in the blanks as i go. if im completely honest, i dont plan a lot of shit. i just blurt words and sometimes it comes out nicely.
i think that pretty much covers it. other than obsessively editing and rereading over the long fics, or scanning the shorter ones a little, i post it and move on <3
30. Favorite line you’ve ever written.
oh god. this is...hard. ill just throw some random lines in without context or explanation bc im crazy. here goes-
- He tries to muster some kind of smile in response as he tugs his headphones down around his neck, Led Zeppelin blasting out the speakers freely now, but he must fail terribly because Calum’s smile slips from his face, just like the batter that drips from the spoon he’s holding, landing in the mixing bowl underneath. It melts smoothly into the rest of the mixture and disappears, and Luke stares at where it landed, wishing he could bring it back. (x)
- Luke’s lingering hand tangles back in Calum’s hair. Soft strands of it threading through his fingers and Calum’s eyes fluttering shut like a butterfly’s wings, then gently pushing his head up into Luke's hand as he rolls over a little more, searching for just a little more of the warmth of Luke’s body against his. (x)
- And he’s gone. But she’s still there. The world has suddenly and violently stopped spinning, but she’s still there, smiling at painting in her mind, of a spinning girl. (x)
- He opened his eyes, and for a second, the silhouette of a boy still stood in front on him, a spark in his eyes and hope in every breath. Wishing for a bright future, planning for great and marvelous things that would never come to pass. (x)
33. Do you listen to music when you’re writing?
as a general rule, yes. i like blocking out the rest of the world and listening to music that fits the fic im writing, because music is always my biggest inspiration. for many fics, especially longer ones, ill make a playlist that suits the vibes which i can then listen to whenever i write that fic. but sometimes i write without music just so i can focus better, and not be distracted by the music, which helps me make more conscious word choices and structural/grammatical choices too.
13. How do you deal with writers block?
ahh writers block (derogatory). sigh. honestly, i dont think there is a cure for writers block, but staying open to inspirations is one suggestion i can offer. listening to music, watching the world around you, consuming media you enjoy...all that helps your mind take in ideas, and even if you can't seem to write anything out, it's good to keep your mind open and filled with something. and with writers block, i would say to NOT make yourself write if you dont feel like it. that takes the enjoyment out of it and makes it seem like a task you have to complete, which it isn't!! writing is here for you to have fun!! you just have to wait it out until you want to write again, and in the meantime, take in all the inspiration that you can.
thank you sm for asking all this, i had a lot of fun writing these answers out! and i hope your writers block doesn't last long too. sending good vibes your way!!! 💜💜💜
