Tony/Mysterio x Reader

(my requests are closed but I actually have one from a year or two back!)

"I know it's a long time darling but we all have to go. I've got a good friend coming to look after the tower with you, I trust you and him." Tony said as you sighed.

You had worked for Tony for three years now, and worked for the Avengers. You were close to all of them, they had taken you in from one of the biggest villains in town. You had been a slave to the villain for a long time, Tony rescued you and gave you a home and purpose. They never managed to capture the villain, his name was Mysterio. They didn't know who he was or where he went.

"You have my number if anything happens, you have all of our numbers. I'll call to check in every few weeks." He said as he continued to pack his clothes.

"Of course Sir, I'll call you if anything happens." You said as he nodded and kissed your forehead.

"Come down and say goodbye to everyone." He muttered, you followed him out of the room and down the stairs seeing the team ready to go.

"Y/N, we're gonna miss you!" Clint shouted as he hugged you making you chuckle.

"I'll miss all of you too. When's your friend coming?" You asked Tony as the elevator dinged. You looked up as you paled.

"Everyone this is Quintin Beck." Tony said as you stepped back. It was Mysterio, your old master.

"T-Tony." You whimpered quietly.

"Ah ah ah pet, I wouldn't do that if I was you. If you say one thing I'll kill everyone here." Beck said in your head as you shut your mouth.

"What is it dear?" Tony asked as Beck smiled and you.

"N-Nothing, don't worry." You whispered as he nodded.

"Well, you both have your orders from me and my number. If anything happens just let me know." Tony said as they all got into the elevator.

"Bye Y/N!" Everyone said as you smiled and said your goodbyes. The elevator doors closed as Beck smiled.

"I've been looking for you for a long time darling." He said as a tear escaped your eye.

"Jarvis!" You screamed out making him laugh.

"Oh darling, I disabled him. No ones helping you." He said as he hand trailed over your hip. This was your worst nightmare.

"Tony!" You screamed as you ran for the elevator but he trapped you in his magic.

"Tony!" You screamed again before something wrapped around your mouth to stop you from screaming. Tears ran down your face as you tried to break free.

"Took me a very long time to realise it as Tony who took you from me. So naturally, I befriended him, made him trust me and now I can easily get you back pet." He said as he stalked up to you, you couldn't help the tears stream down your face.

"Shh darling, you're very lucky I rescued you. But I'm very angry with you, you never even called." He mocked you, you tried and tried to break free but it was no use. He released you from him magic as you fell to the ground.

"What do you have to say for yourself?" He said as you looked up at him in fear.

"F-Fuck you." You growled as he kicked you in the stomach making you gasp.

"You've spent far too long with Stark dear." He said before slapping you across the face. You jumped up and shoved him away as he chuckled.

"Little pet has gotten brave has she?" He said, you ran for the kitchen to grabbed a knife but he was far too fast for you.

"Don't worry dear, I'll get you back to your old self."

It had been a week since Beck came to the tower. You had tried so many times to escape or to call Tony. But he put his magic on you again, he knew where you were at all times and what you were doing. He was starting to break you again, you dreamt of the day the team returned. But what would Beck do to you then?

You were laying next to Beck in his bed as you slowly got up. You just wanted some time alone, just a shower without him watching your every move. You snuck into the shower and stripped off your clothes and got into the shower letting the warm wet run over your skin.

"Where the fuck did that bitch go?" You heard Beck hiss.

"J-Just having a shower." You called out hearing him sigh. The door opened and you quickly turned the water off.

"I-I'm sorry, I just didn't want to wake you." You muttered as he smiled and began stripping off his clothes.

"S-Sorry, I'll get out." You whispered before he got in with you trapping you from leaving.

"Don't you miss the showers we used to have together?" He asked as you looked away from him.

"Why don't you let me take care of you hmm?" He whispered as he ran his hand over your side making you shiver. He turned the water back on and let it run over you as he ran his hand over your body.

"Poor little thing, remember those times when you were so useless I had to wash you?" He said as you glared at him.

"Don't give me that look." He warned making you sigh and look away from him.

"I-I just want to be alone." You whispered not meeting his eyes. He lifted your chin up to meet his eyes.

"You have also seem to forgot that you don't have a choice with me darling. Maybe I need to teach you again." He growled lowly as you shoved him away from you and ran out of the bathroom.

"Leave me alone!" You screamed before he tackled you to the ground and pinned you down.

"You just don't learn do you."

It had been a month now. You'd soon fallen back into your previous self. Quiet, obedient, tortured. And he loved every minute of it.

"Look at that, a call from Stark. Don't say a word." Beck said as he snapped his fingers and suddenly your voice was gone. You nodded and busied yourself in the kitchen.

"Stark! It's good to hear from you." You heard Tony's voice as your heart leapt. You couldn't help but tear up at his voice.

"Beck! I hope you're taking care of my tower and especially my girl." Tony said as you covered your mouth and tried your best to not sob.

"I'm taking very good care of both of them." Beck replied.

"Can I talk to her?" Tony asked through the phone.

"No, she's just gone out to go for a walk you just missed her." He said as you ran upstairs, you couldn't stand hearing Tony's voice when he wasn't here to rescue you.

"Can you get her to call me when she get's back? I need to talk to her." Tony asked just in ear shot of you.

"Yeah, I'll get her to call you."

An hour past and Beck handed you the phone.

"Keep it on speaker and if you say one thing I will slit your throat right here." Quintin growled as you nodded and dialled Tony's number.

"Y/N, hey darling. How are you?" Tony asked as you shut your eyes and listened to his voice.

"I-I'm good Mr. Stark. H-How's the mission going?" You asked quietly.

"It's been a success so far. Are you ok you sound different?" He asked as you tried your best to not cry.

"Y-Yeah, I'm just tired. I-I might be coming down with something that's all." You whispered.

"Alright, well I just wanted to hear your voice again and make sure you were ok. Any nightmares of Mysterio?" He asked as you looked up at Beck to see him smiling.

"N-No, I've been fine. I-I should get going, goodbye Tony." You muttered before hanging up the phone.

Tony was sitting in the jet when you hung up on him. Something wasn't right.

"Friday, show me footage of Y/N in the tower." Tony said as he looked down at him tablet.

"Jarvis has been disabled sir, so have all the cameras." The A.I replied as his brows furrowed.

"Overwrite code 4739, reboot cameras password America's Ass." Tony said as the cameras rebooted. He saw you in the living room with Beck.

"Aww is the little dear missing Tony?" Beck said as Tony looked at the camera in confusion, what was he doing?

"I-I'm sorry sir." You whispered in a small voice, you looked so broken. Suddenly Beck slapped you across the face as Tony gasped.

"Get up, you know how this goes." He growled as he began undoing his belt.

"Shit! Loki!" Tony screamed as he quickly found Loki.

"Loki, teleport back to the tower and get Y/N right now." He demanded as Loki nodded.

Beck had you pinned up against the wall when you heard a noise.

"Get off her!" A voice shouted as you saw Loki.

"L-Loki." You stuttered as Loki shoved Beck off you and grabbed you. You held onto him tightly and suddenly you were in front of Tony.

"Y/N thank god." Tony said as he wrapped his arms around you. You couldn't help but break down in tears as you held onto him tightly.

"What just happened? Why was he attacking Y/N?" Loki asked as you sobbed in Tony's arms.

"B-Beck is Mysterio." You whispered as their eyes widened.

"What? Oh my god, Y/N I left you alone with him. What did he do to you?" Tony asked as you cried even more.

"Sorry darling, we can talk later for now just focus on me. Loki, get Stephen, Wanda, Bucky and Steve and go to the tower to take down Beck. I'll let shield know." Tony commanded, Loki nodded and quickly left swinging into action.

"P-Please don't go." You whispered as Tony ran a hand through your hair.

"I'm not going anywhere darling, I'm right here."

You had fallen asleep on the couch in the jet as Tony looked down at you sadly.

"Shield is dealing with Beck. How is she?" He heard a voice say as he looked behind him to see Loki.

"I can't believe I left her with him." Tony whispered with guilt.

"Tony, none of us had any idea, you can't blame yourself for this. Blame Mysterio." Loki said as Tony sighed and nodded.

"I know, I just care about her so much. And she was finally starting to not have nightmares of him and now this happens." He whispered as you began to wake up.

"T-Tony." You muttered out as he was instantly at your side.

"I'm right here darling." He whispered and kissed your forehead.

"Beck is with shield, they've arrested him. I'm so sorry I left you with him." Tony said as you slowly sat up and wrapped your arms around him.

"I'm just glad I'm back with you. Please don't ever leave." You whispered as Tony wrapped his arms around you in return.

"I won't darling, never again."

Lore/ story facts:

Man of many talents! Has an engineering degree, a degree in fashion and costume making, did courses to be a magician and a degree in film and creative media

Went from making and designing backstage props at his local theatre to becoming the Tech guy and then, starting a small film business by himself. It didn't go very far but with his skills he was asked to work on other movies. He agreed, able to make a living for himself

Even had a short apprenticeship at Oscorp for engineering, meeting Mason and then joining together as a Duo. Mason Caring for him like a father. And still supporting him as a Villian.

That was until, Scout arrived. (My spidersona) Scout was asked to star in a short film about himself but discovered that there were cameras everywhere - hidden. Even in private spaces. All to figure out his identity and share it with the public. Once that came out he made it known to the public and they got sued. After all, a risk to his identity could be life threatening. Causing Quintin to be out of service despite being a bystander and due to the bad rep, struggled to get back into work due to it. After all, no one wanted ties with a problematic company.

Whilst he didn't harbour any Ill will on Scout it was already hard getting through the industry as it was. So, he decided to keep uplifting his own film business - but if he was to make it about the hero. He needed a villian.

He decided to take on the role of Mysterio and amaze all of New York as the newest Villian for Spider-Scout to face. Documenting it all. People loved it! To get so close to the life of a hero and a new enemy - it was exciting! As time went on he became inspired by Scout. He noticed there was a kinship in their interests. It become more civil between them. He's now basically a blogger - crafting shows of illusion and magic for the public.

Traits and small facts:

His favourite food? shakshuka. Always feels warm and well fed afterwards

His smile is always crooked but wide, he has 1 dimple on the right side of his face. He definitely emotes better with his hands than his face.

When he's Mysterio is like he's a completely different person. Confident and bold. Grand in everything he does. Speaking louder than New York itself. He feels so comfortable behind a mask.

Also as Mysterio, as he streams alot of his fights, he acts like a show host. A floating microphone with him to capture every word.

He cries so loudly. Hiccuping and sniffling. Lips wobbling as long streaks of tears down his face. Is easily moved to tears at a good film or a piece of music that really touches his heart

He's actually pretty good at lying, just doesn't like to. He likes being an honest genuine person unless it's necessary.

He expresses his joy very visually, a small squeal will escape him before he immediately starts to conceal it. Definitely a laugher - always letting out one in some way or another. Big smiles and jazz hands.

he's not one to get angry. He doesn't enjoy it nor strive to feel it. He's very good at keeping himself in check but when it does? He's so quite. For such a loud animated guy, he can become so stiff and quite. Firm in his words and forcing back a snarl. It's uncanny.

being nervous is almost his constant. He's shy. He's built like an extrovert but as the personality of a shaky dog. Abit anxious when it comes to social interaction because he fears he'll be too much too soon.

Despite his inability to feel romantic attraction, he is a hopeless romantic. He LOVES love. He thinks it's beautiful. He had to learn to stop mourning his lack of it and realize he can love in many ways. But that doesn't mean if someone asked for a fake date - he wouldn't make sure he's best fake date ever. Flowers? Fancy restaurant? You name it! It's a performance he won't fail at!

He does smoke, non nicotine tho, he smokes through a long pipe for aesthetic. The plant it's infused with dyes the smoke and makes it turn from a light blue to purple.

He uses this plant for other purposes for his magic tricks - it is a non addicting herb that was discovered that simply as the trick of changing smoke colour.

I've been thinking a lot about a Peter who is just absolutely starved of affection. May isn't around a lot. When she is, she's too tired - from work, from trying to repay the debts she owns, from trying to keep Peter on the straight and narrow - to really give him that care that he needs so desperately. Maybe they move around a lot, preventing Peter from making friends his own age. And so, Peter finds affection elsewhere.

Quentin Beck came as an unannounced savior. He's so sweet for Peter, so kind. Their interests tend to overlap, and even when they don't he doesn't mind listening to Peter ramble about whatever it is that he's excited about this time. It's innocent at first. Peter sees him as a friend, the only friend he has. When Quentin starts complimenting him, on Peter's smile, how soft his hair looks, how pretty and long his legs are, and how beautiful his moans must sound, Peter just smiles and nods along. He ignores the pit of wrong wrong wrong wrong that forms in his stomach.

Quintin gets more and more possessive. Talking about how Peter is his, and his alone. Peter walks home with a boy from school one day - just a friend, nothing more - and is rewarded by being called a "disgusting, two-timing slut" by Quentin. Peter doesn't know what to do. He's grateful for Quentin, he truly is, but he can't shake the feeling that he should be scared of the older man.

Maybe Peter's resolve breaks one day after another tirage of abusive words from the person who's supposed to be his friend and decides that he needs to do something. He goes to the police and explains his situation to the kind officer that's assigned to him - knowing that Quentin would kill him for speaking negatively of him, let alone to the police. Peter's attempt is in vain. Quentin hasn't hurt him, not in any way that counts according to the law, and since Quentin hasn't touched him in any way that's inappropriate either, there's nothing that the police can do for him.

Not officially, at least, is what the officer tells him later that night - having taken it on himself to secretly take Peter's address from the database at the station. But just because the police cannot help him doesn't mean that Officer Stark will not do everything he possibly can to keep Peter safe.

And Peter? Well, he's just so grateful.

Just a cut

Characters: Quintin Beck/Mysterio, Montana Brice/Shocker, Phineas Mason/Tinkerer (Mentioned)

Plot: What was supposed to be a simple assignment goes horribly wrong when Quintin gets injured.

Notes: The main pairing is Quintin/Montana but they aren't in a relationship yet. Also, Quintin is dating Phineas while Montana is dating Fancy Dan and Ox. (Poly for the win)

There's descriptions of a pretty bad injury, So be advised of that.

Takes place post series. Probably.

There's some swearing, Mostly from Montana though.

I love writing, But I'm also not the best at it. So this probably isn't gonna be that great, But I liked the idea.

Quintin Beck, Aka Mysterio, Had recently started working with The Enforcers after they escaped prison, With varying results. He was more of an illusionist than an outright hand-to-hand fighter. But Montana knew Beck shouldn't just rely on the fancy gadgets his boyfriend, Mason, Helps make for him, Not against any serious threats.

"Are you sure about this..?" Quintin asked Montana as the two stood near their secret base's door. "You can't rely on yer' fancy robots and illusions forever." Montana carefully adjusted the shockers on his wrists, Making sure not to accidentally set them off. " 'Sides, This'll be real simple. You heard of the Green Goblin?" "A little?" Quintin shrugged a bit.

"After his demise, Some of his goons are still causin' a heep of trouble." Montana explained. " 'Specially round my bar. All we've gotta do is show 'em we don't play around." "And I have to fight them without..." Quintin grabbed the ends of his costume's cape, Going silent before he could finish his own sentence.

"Yer' gonna be alright." Montana reassured him before putting on his mask. "They're just thugs, So it'll make for good combat practice. Trust me, We'll be outta there in a jiffy." "Alright..." Quintin put on his fishbowl looking helmet. "I might be able to use what I learned in stuntman training, I guess..."

Shocker led Mysterio to his bar, Where about five people wearing pumpkin masks were about to vandalize it. "Alright, You vermin!" He yelled out to them. "You have 5 seconds to mosey on outta here before we turn you into a bloody mess!"

The toughest looking goon turned around, Pulling out a beam gun. "How about we paint the walls red with your blood instead!" They laughed maniacally. "There's five of us and two of you! There's nothing you can do against us!" "Yer boss is nothin' but dust now, And 'yer about to join him!" Shocker then faced Mysterio. "I'll handle the tougher lookin' three, You handle the rest."

As Shocker went after his set of the goons, Mysterio faced the two smaller ones, Who pulled out their pumpkin blades. "You think those mere blades will be enough to defeat Mysterio, Master of the arcane arts!?" He spoke in character. "Such foolishness!"

One of the goons growled lunged forward, Which Mysterio managed to avoid, Causing them to fall over. The other goon tried to get him from behind, But Mysterio shot his leg out. He managed to kick back the goon, Causing them to hit a wall nearby, Knocking them out.

The one that was on the ground pulled on his cape, Which almost caused him to fall over himself. But at the last second, Mysterio grabbed his cape and yanked it, Flipping them over his head and landing them on the ground, Which knocked them out too. 'I... I actually did it!" Mysterio thought to himself excitedly. "Let this be a lesson to you!" He went back into character. "Nobody gets away with underestimating Mysterio!"

Meanwhile, Shocker had already done quite a number on two of the goons. But he seemed to have lost track of the toughest one. "Where in sam hell did he..." He looked around for a second and saw a proud Mysterio. He chuckled to himself a bit before he suddenly saw the tough goon zoom towards him from behind.

"Hey, Look out!" He yelled. Mysterio glanced over at him confused before he felt a burning pain on his side.

SLICE

The goon used one of their pumpkin blades and sliced it down Mysterio's side, Tearing that part of his costume and causing crimson blood to spill from there. "BECK!" Shocker yelled out to him, Panic in his voice.

Mysterio fell to his knees and placed a hand on his wound. He looked at the hand and saw the red liquid staining his glove. He wanted to scream, But panic and adrenaline kept him from doing so. He only breathed heavily, Threatening to start hyperventilating. He knew it was only a matter of time before the pain really began to kick in...

"That was too easy." The goon held the blade, Now dripping in blood. They didn't get very long to relish in their victory before they heard footsteps running their way. They looked over and saw a pissed Shocker running towards them, Shockers fully activated and with rage in his eyes.

"Don't. You. Fucking. TOUCH HIM!!" He cried out. He punched the goon with all of his might, With the force of the shockers sending them flying into the nearest garbage dumpster.

Shocker took a few seconds to catch his breath before he ran over to Mysterio. "Beck! Partner, Are you alright!?" He kneeled down to get a closer look at the injury. There was a long cut from the left side of Mysterio's midriff down to near his hip. It didn't look too deep fortunately, But it was bleeding quite a lot.

"I-I'm sorry..!" Mysterio shakily breathed out, Tears threatening to pour from his eyes. "Th-They caught me by surprise..!" "No, No! Don't you dare apologize!" Shocker clenched his hands into fists. "That bastard! They're lucky I didn't hit em any harder, Or they'd never see the sunshine again!"

Mysterio weakly laughed, Mostly to hide his panic. "I-I don't wanna look at it..." He just looked up. "D-Do I have to look at it? Is i-it bad..?" "No, Ya' don't have to look at it." Shocker stood up and pulled Mysterio up carefully as well, Having him lean on him for support (His non bloody side thankfully). "It ain't that bad, I promise. It's... It's just a cut."

The two walked away from the bar as the heard police sirens. "Don't ya' worry, Okay?" Montana kept Quintin close. "I'll get us both back to base and Mason can patch ya' up. That's what he usually does anyway." "I... Really blew it... Didn't I..?" Quintin's adrenaline was now replaced by drowsiness. "No, You were doing great." Montana reassured. "Ya' took out two goons by yerself. You were just caught by surprise. If anythin', I'm proud."

Montana couldn't see it from behind the fishbowl, But Quintin began to blush. "Thanks..." He muttered. "However." Montana spoke. "You're gonna need some more training before I send ya' back onto the field. 'Specifically after what happened today." "Good call..." Quintin weakly laughed. "Now let's get back before I bleed out, Okay..?"

I'll admit, This is my first time actually writing with these characters, So it's definitely not perfect. But I hope it turned out alright.

Alright - favorite versions of mysterio? (Also I'm curious, it seems like you don't seem to care for the mcu version and that's fair and I have a sneaking suspicion I know why, but - what's the beef there?)

I've talked before about why I'm personally not a fan of the mcu version even despite having never watched the movie

Renew Tour Vows: I just like how he looks. there's like literally nothing to his character here. I just like how he looks... his design is..... very appealing.. a shame he was only present for like 0.5 seconds :( [just look at him]

Mooseterio: THIS CREATURE HAS NOTHING BUT [THAT ONE CANON PIECE OF ART] AND [HIS CAMEO IN ATSV]. I AM DEVASTATED. ME AND LIKE 2? OTHER PEOPLE ARE (rarely/occasionally) CREATING CONTENT FOR HIM. He is a goofy funny moose with googly eye cape clasps. Rocky & Bullwinkle wannabe (affectionate) Honestly I prefer this design over the Mysteriape one by a long shot. Same goes for MJ Waterbuffalo over Mary Crane Watsow. It just looks better, more fitting/more personality.

616 Comics: Alright I admit I like the basic 616 comic Mysterio, too. You can't love Mysterio without loving his OG variant. Old man ran an obstacle course marathon so all the others could do a leisurely jaunt. He grew on me the more I fell in deep with liking Mysterio in general :(
