the younger sister

->warnings: yandere theme, obsession, death mention, reader threating people, og! Penelope, Derrick being himself, some spoiler from the novel(?)

->request by anon! may i request death is the only ending for villains where the reader is penelope younger sister? she has her own powerful magic attribute which the duke sees and keeps for but she will call out on derek, reynold and staff of the dukedom (especially emily) behavior whenever they mistreat penelope or her? I'd imagine she would have beef with all the main leads tbh and plans to run away with penelope to a distant kingdom, far away from them.

->a/n: my first request in ages is finally here! i am really happy to write after spending a time without being able to write a few personal stories. Keep in mind that request still open! good reading! Link to part two

-> the infamous story about Duke Eckhart about adopting a girl from the streets after his biological daughter disappear is know for the public. Regardless of what people tend to hide their opinions, everyone thinks about Penelope as a wild spirit and a terrible lady to her family’s name but what everyone didn’t know was the other girl that the Duke brought in too, [name].

-> the younger girl with similar looks of Penelope brought attention towards the dukedom and neither the girls like it. The oldest find it hilarious how this new family treat her younger sister in a magnificent way, giving her the greatest treatment while Penelope lives in that old shack with no resources. Knowing that everyone inside the dukedom treat her older sister like that, [name] prefer to stay at Penelope’s side in that small shack, ignoring the people’s advice to stay away from her.

-> not to forget the magical abilities the little one possesses, capable of doing immense acts to help those in needs and probably to end wars in any seconds, with such amount of powers in the hands of a younger girl. Knowing how powerful you were since birth and how no one could control you, the emperor made it clear that you would be the only magical person in the empire, after all, everyone know how capable you are of destroying anyone. The Duke was in shock to see his youngest daughter the servants and even her brothers with her abilities, gaining an amount of discipline by helping him with the taxes.

-> he has to admit, your father is worried that your behavior won’t help in the future, he is afraid that you will exclude from the society and keep living at Penelope’s side forever without anyone else. Your two older brother don’t like the idea too.

-> Reynold attempted numerous times to envolve you with activities to set up a high profile at the noble society. Taking you to balls to meet up with children of your age, sharing expensive food and toys that catch interest. But none of this worked, [name] become the chaos in person during many of the balls and scaring the children, stole the food to give it to commoners and homeless people around, the toys? Reynold try to sleep in peace knowing that any of those can fall over his face at any moment.

-> The last one to give it a try is Derrick, the person you threatened to transform into an animal and to bite when younger. The older brother give his shot to make you become a properly lady, being the one to tutor you during many subjects and that means that you can’t skip classes as you used to do. In the end, you learn the entire history, geography, mathematics that Derrick forced you during those days.

-> luckily, you have days off from them and you usually spend it at Penelope’s side, taking her out to eat delicious and unique foods with your sold jewelry, buying her dresses that make her look even more gorgeous! You truly want to help your old sister live the best life at her side, yet such dream look so far away to become reality. Not to mention the abuse she has handled in the last years to help you, you know how the staff would tried if she hadn’t interfere in time.

-> in a random day, the idea of running away from the dukedom with Penelope grown stronger in your mind and without thinking twice, you two pack up few clothes with jewelry and money that you asked the Duke for with the excuse for being for expensive dresses. everything was ready and now you two need to leave the residence without noticing that you are gone.

-> the day you were waiting for never happened. The missing daughter, Ivonne has returned home. At first you thought that would be great that the “real daughter” came back, right? Like, the Duke and the others would let you and Penelope leave this place forever, but that didn’t seem the case.

-> Duke and the two brothers refused to let [name] leave the dukedom, but allowed Penelope, saying that someone with great and magnificent powers should be part of the family. Those words didn’t hurt only Penelope deeply but made her stay, as much she wants to escape from this place, she can’t leave her younger sister behind, so she endure the pain.

-> she does that in every route where Ivonne and the male leads take you away from your beloved sister, saying how you are being manipulated and dragged to a downfall if you stay at Penelope’s side. That’s don’t really matter, you speak to all of them every time, you wants to stay at your sister’s side forever and unfortunately that never happen.

-> with every route ending with Penelope being took away from [name], the poor girl become quiet and lose her sparkle of live. The once loud and chaotic girl is gone, leaving an empty shell of someone that everyone used to know and now they pity the younger Eckhart. It’s mention that in every end that [name] either leaves the dukedom to live somewhere else away from her family, teaching younger children to properly use magic or keep living at the small shack at the property, avoiding everyone til her last breath.

-> the tragic story of the two sisters always manage to make Siyeon emotional. Penelope and [name] were inseparable from the beginning to the end of their lives, something that Siyeon a little bit jealous, the villainess had a sweet sister to support each others in times where the world were against them, could she ever have someone like [name] in her live?

-> unfortunately Siyeon’s dreams become reality when she become Penelope in the hard mode, experience what the original villainess suffered along side [name], the little girl who never left her older sister side no matter the circumstances.

-> as much Penelope is angry and scared of this new life where everyone and everything is against her, constantly trying to destroy her at any moment. She is happy to finally having someone at her side to help her, at any period, to achieve the happiness that she didn’t experience in her past life.

-> She promise to give [name] the life she deserves at her side, knowing that the two of them will get their happiness after suffering for so long far way from the dukedom

summary : you planned to leave your family and elope with your lover. but unfortunately, your family will do everything to stop you from leaving. they don't care if you end up hating them, they're just doing this to protect you after all.

tw : yandere behavior, toxic behavior, cursing, violence, mentions of killing, obsession, confinement.

you were really close with your adoptive little sister, penelope, ever since you met her. you treat her just like how you treated ivonne. that's also the main reason why this girl became a yandere for you. even cha siyeon became yandere for you since you were the first person who treated her like a family.

you see, whenever you're with her. penelope treats you well and acts like a sweet little sister. that's also the main reason why you trust and adore her so much.

for you, penelope is very different from your overprotective father and little brothers. she doesn't control your schedule, nor prevent you from talking to anyone. but little did you know, penelope was doing those things on purpose since she wants her goddess to relax when she was with her.

and on one of your tea times with penelope. you decided to tell her about the boy that you saw in the capital. you were too busy in your own world that's why you didn't notice how penelope's smile disappeared.

penelope just watches you with a blank expression on her face. she just observed your bright smile and how you blush while talking about that unnamed bastard whom you met in the capital.

and then, after a year. you told her about your plan to elope with your lover. and penelope wasn't happy about it. you were leaving them and going with some unnamed bastard? how dare you.

penelope might not get along with duke eckhart, reynold and derrick that well. this girl decided to tell them about your plan. it may hurt her pride but penelope knows that she can't stop you alone.

and when derrick, the duke, and reynold heard your plan to leave the house just for some unnamed bastard. they are all angry, they're really angry but not to you but to that bastard who corrupted their sweet and innocent (first name).

and the day finally arrived. you were really happy that you managed to sneak out of your room without derrick, your father, and reynold noticing. but your happiness changed into despair when you got outside.

there, you saw your father and penelope with a bunch of knights behind them. when you saw them, you felt betrayed. you know the reason why your father and your family knights were there. penelope told them about your plan.

you tried to run away from them but the duke ordered the knights to catch you without hurting you. and then when the knights caught you, the duke locked you up in your room.

you shouted and begged them to let you out. you keep on begging them until your throat hurts. but the duke didn't listen. he already lost ivonne and he doesn't want to lose you too.

they're doing all of this for your sake, so why are you so unhappy about this?

and remember your lover? the person who corrupted you? you don't have to worry about him anymore! since your dependable brothers (derrick and reynold) already killed took care of him!

now, they just need you to act like your old self and everything will be back to normal.

(for this, reader is a duke[idk if theres a gn term for duke])

-At first, Duke Eckhart only saw you as an acquaintance and a friendly rival

-Of course, it was different with his children, Derrick, Reynold and Ivonne

-They all as a group first met you at the second prince's birthday, with you leaning on a pillar behind you, watching how other's interact

-Although Derrick admired your achievements and wanted to become actual friends with you because of your past help, he didn't do anything to approach you, but Reynold and Ivonne were different and proudly went up to you and introduced themselves

-Safe to say, you gained two emotionally attached children when you befriended them, inviting them to a tea party you're before going to host a month later

-Of course, when the day the tea party was starting, Ivonne and Reynold brought Derrick and the duke, a notice being sent to you the day before the tea party would start

-When they arrived, Ivonne and Reynold ran up and hugged you, thanking you for inviting them while you dismissed the unexpected hugs, patting their heads while welcoming them, soon after Derrick and the duke ran up to the three of you, with the duke scolding his youngest children and apologised, but you simply dismissed his apology, saying you didn't mind them doing this, as they're now your friends

-That's the first spark the duke's feelings for you started

-It started as a small spark of admiration for you, but it soon grew into a small flame, still dismissing it as bigger admiration for you, yeah, he was stubborn in not realising he had feelings for you..

-Thankfully, the children caught on with the moments where he woud quietly stare at you and your interactions with his kids, the way he would quickly look away when you noticed him staring and down to the way he would take your suggestions to heart

-Safe to say, the duke unkowingly gained three wingmen for him to get with you. Well, of course they weren't over their late mother's death(yet), but you easily and rather quickly took up the role of a parental figure to them, giving them advice whenever they came for it, to even helping them with their homework and any problems they had!

-Derrick was the first person to go yandere in general for you, as you comforted him crying outside the manor a week after his mother died, offering him some things to do so he could get his mind off of his mother's death

-Ivonne was the second person to go yandere, as she always watched you in whatever you were doing, every action of yours was powerful, yet elegant like a thorny rose, like a beautiful flower in a sea of plainness people, so close, yet so far, worshipping an idolised version of you in her head

-Reynold was the last (biological) child to go yandere, only turning because of Ivonne singing praises about you and finally seeing it for himself

-With the help of his children, the duke finally acknowledged his feelings for you, and so, tries to get closer to you and then finally court you after multiple motnhs

-He was really glad you accepted his request to court you, sending you gifts of anything you stared at for longer than five seconds, even organizing small dates the two of you could do in your little-to-none free time!

-Unfortunately, before the duke would announce to his family that he's courting you, Ivonne went missing. Everyone was heartbroken at the news and you offered to bring him more men and yourself to find Ivonne, he begrudgingly accepted

-Sadly enough, the search was bound to stop, as no one found any bit of clues yet. But when he suddenly brought an eleven year old girl who somewhat resembled Ivonne and told his children that she'll be their new adopted sister? All hell broke loose in the dukedom

-Derrick and Reynold were reasonably angry, yes, but you were happy in a bittersweet way, although you know that everyone won't be over Ivonne in a long time, the duke brought in a starving girl he found in the slums

-As soon as the girl, Penelope, was left in her bedroom, you went and introduced yourself to her, indirectly claiming her as your own daughter, which you didn't mind

-And so when you proclaimed yourself to now be her guardian, you ordered every business and work-related paper to be sent to the Eckhart dukedom so you could look after Penelope, and so, now you be

-And so as the self-proclaimed guardian of Penelope, you became a temporary consistent person in the Eckhart household, having every work-related paper sent to your bedroom in the Eckhart chateau, having your bedroom next to Penelope's as by your request

-You loved Penelope, truly, so you decided to subtly and little by little teach her everything you knew, as well as reading and writing

-Og!Penelope was really thankful for having a person like you around her at all times in such a cold and negative household, even more for teaching her reading and writing! She's always acting like a mad dog so she could be comforted by you, as well!

-Every time a staff member is caught abusing Penelope, you'd lock them in a dungeon in your dukedom, preferring mentally torturing and breaking them instead of getting your hands dirty in filth like that. You always either make sure they shut their mouth and swear allegiance to you and Penelope, or just emotionally and mentally break them to nothing but a loyal servant to you and your adoptive daughter! :)

-You were Siyeon Cha's favorite character in the game, as you always were kind to both Penelope and Ivonne, Ivonne's bad endings associating with you would be you dying protecting either Ivonne or Penelope. You always protected and supported Penelope in the past according to the wiki of the game in both hard and normal mode

-Derrick and Reynold were both jealous and angry, why are you spending so much time with the mad dog? Did you just forget them entirely? This isn't fair!

-That was one of the reason's Reynold lied and plotted about Penelope stealing Ivonne's bracelet, of course, like an overbearing mother, you desperately denied the claims of Penelope doing that, going as far as arguing with both Reynold AND the duke for the first time, shocking everyone except Penelope

-At the end of the argument, you took Penelope and ordered the servants to pack both of your bags and get a carriage to drive back to your dukedom, comforting a crying Penelope

-When the two of you went to your chateau, you prepared to send a letter about temporarily stopping to court each other until the problem is resolved, and the duke begrudgingly complied, as you were the person with more power than him at the moment

-And now like a divorced couple, for Penelope it's mandatory to see the Eckhart family for a few days before returning back home to you

-In short, duke Eckhart is a rather possesive yet somewhat submissive(literally cried writing that) yandere who loves spoiling his darling, Derrick is a worshipper, possessive and obsessive yandere, Ivonne is obsessive and worshippy, Reynold is obsessive, possessive and worshippy, Penelope is manipulative, obsessive and possessive

A/N: kinda wrote y/n as a platonic yandere for og!Penelope, but oh well!
