'𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗔𝗕𝗕𝗜𝗧 𝟮' 𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗢𝗡 𝟰𝗞𝗨𝗛𝗗, 𝗕𝗟𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗬 & 𝗗𝗩𝗗 🎬 𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗢𝗣𝗦𝗜𝗦 & 😎 𝗡𝗢𝗡-𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪: 🎬: The tension in the 1st film, between Peter Rabbit [James Corden] & Thomas McGregor [Domhnall Gleeson], has eased after Thomas married Bea [Rose Byrne]. A local celebrity after the release of her book about the mischievous Peter & his family, Bea is approached by the charming book publisher, Nigel Basil-Jones [David Oyelowo], who promises global success with a major book deal which would permanently seal her family's financial security. However, Peter isn't happy with being touted as 'The Bad Seed' by Basil-Jones. When he meets Barnabas [Lennie James], an old friend of his dad's now living in the big city with a collection of strays, Peter is drawn into their carefree life where he isn't judged or misunderstood. Will Peter leave the home & family that he loves for a new & more exciting life? 😎: With an armistice between the farm animals & McGregor on what they can't eat [his tomatoes] & can eat [everything else], the animals are no longer at odds with him. Despite Bea succumbing to Basil-Jones' promises of fame & fortune, Thomas is very wary of him & doesn't like the marketing label that he's given Peter; things aren't perfect between the 2 old rivals but McGregor has come to see himself as a 'surrogate dad' to the rabbits - something that he, himself, never had as a child.
