Google platform allows virtual visits to museums and galleries

Google has developed a specific culture and art platform, Arts & Culture (photo: reproduction)

In the period of forced quarantine, in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the association between art, culture and technology helps in democratizing access to production, as well as respecting governmental determinations.

Some museums and galleries offer virtual tours with 360º technology through the capture of satellite images, but everything has become even more realistic and accessible with the partnership with Google. He developed a specific culture and art platform, the Arts & Culture, previously called Google art project, which uses street view technology to provide free virtual tours to art galleries around the world. In addition, the site also provides information on art history, compiles works by famous artists and divides the collections in a thematic way.

Frida Khalo Museum

Pinacoteca de So Paulo

Praa da Luz, Luz, So Paulo. THE Pinacoteca de So Paulo it is a museum of visual arts, with an emphasis on Brazilian art from the 19th century until today. Founded in 1905 by the Government of the State of So Paulo, it belongs to the State Department of Culture and the oldest art museum in the city.
