One thing we don’t talk about a lot regarding ADHD is the constant doubt and self-doubt. You forget stuff. You remember stuff, but it didn’t actually go that way. You’ve never solved this problem in your life. You aced the test without realizing. You’re telling a story that happened to the person you’re talking to. You’re a liar, you’re an idiot, you’re a con.
It gets ingrained in your own head, you can’t trust yourself because you know you’re going to get something wrong. You start modifying sentences, prefacing with ‘I don’t remember exactly how it went’, adding a ‘sorry if that’s inaccurate’. Your confidence plummets because no one trusts you, and how can you trust yourself?
I cannot overstate the immense pressure and stress of constantly being a ‘liar’ without meaning to. Sometimes it becomes so huge that it’s a background process, a stormcloud you’re so familiar with that you forget other people have seen the sun. You forget other people don’t doubt their own memories, their own words - they just know. It sounds fake. You’re a liar, so surely they’re lying about lying, right? It doesn’t matter how good you try to be, you forget the answer and you’re either stupid or you’re scamming someone. You forget that this isn’t how life is supposed to work. You forget answers you knew for years. You forget your own name under pressure.
You forget.

🎃Inktober of 2022 - Day 12: 🧸🪆Playtime
🇵🇷Me: Just in time while not only gotten this finished, but also to celebrate Poppy Playtime's first release back in October, 12th, 2021 during chapter one. So yeah. I know about that indie game if the devs are gonna released in game consoles in the near future. As of now, I gotten into watch video playthrough mostly with SuperHorrorBro's YT channel and theory videos. Still curious for more til Chapter 3 release next year. Anyways, here's Mikey after helping his brother with the pumpkins before washing for dinner later. He had time to get into this horror indie title that he hear about from his teenage friends; regardless if it was a FNAF rip-off. Well it depends, but really does shows how he trying to get away from Huggy Wuggy until....Link Here
🐱🎧Mikey: I was damn close when running through the vent as I can, but man does this toy monster really scare him so easily than expected. I mean, seriously?! Woo! 😥
🇵🇷Me: Well that's what you get when playing this indie game with killer toys. Believe me when I'm saying you ain't seeing nothing yet.
🐱🎧Mikey: I know. I'm just not ready of what the next chapter takes us. I mean just saying. Sheesh.

His knees folded over his arms and he pulled himself into a tight ball that balanced on the flats of his feet. It didn’t look comfortable , but it was movement

His mind hovered for a moment round the doubtful date on the page, and then fetched up with a bump against the Newspeak word doublethink. For the first time the magnitude of what he had undertaken came home to him.
