One Piece World: “Bad-Future Earth” or “Lost Space Colony”?

I had made a post a few months (Nov 2022) ago on the merits that the OP world may be a Lost Space Colony. (most of it isn’t relevant to the story any more, save for the ancient weapons could have been terraforming machines) However, it could easily be a “bad-future Earth” scenario as well. With the recent theory videos by Pizza and GLR about the Poles of the Planet being shifted, and likely done so at least twice in known history, once 5000+ years ago, and another 900 years ago, and may happen soon due to the destruction of Lulicia causing quakes through out the world along with rising sea levels. The hole under Enes Lobby may even been the trigger for what happened 900 years ago.

Earth has natural pole shifts that happen every few MILLION years, but in the OP world it has happened at least TWICE in the past 5,000 years.

The stated theory above originally had the Red Line moving across the Equator of the Planet, but now it is around the Meridian. The Red Line is a giant landmass. Land has WEIGHT and that much material had to come from somewhere. Where the continents cannibalized to make the Red Line, or were asteroids harvested from space? It may be more likely to be space rocks due to the majority of the structure being “RED” like Mars and Iron, and the largest source being in asteroids. So this weight added to the size of the planet and the ice would raise sea levels. 

As the planet rotates, like a top, the heaviest part will naturally fall towards the center mass. Meaning that the creation of the Red Line may have likely sent the whole planet’s magnetosphere out of wack, the center/core of the planet is rotating out of sync with the surface bc it was formed when the planet was of a much smaller weight/size. It created a “wobble” that is more pronounced and thus the more frequent pole shifts and the longer day/night cycles.

So, this could be Earth. 10,000 years into the future. Having gone through several “Apocalypse” events, the creation of the Red Line one among many, and perhaps one of the more recent ones. At some point there was space travel, along with genetic engineering, and hyper advanced technology.

I have been reading the “Vampire Hunter D” series the past couple months, and I am also a fan of Adventure Time and Steven Universe. All of these series had gone through events that changed the course of their planet’s evolution and the native life upon it. The Nobles (Vampires) don’t seem that much different to the Lunarians of the One Piece universe. They are the penultimate beings of their world, had vast power at their fingertips, control of the rest of the planet through their physical might and hyper advanced technology... only to fall to the humans and be hunted down by them, loosing much of the knowledge to the tech that made them great, and leaving behind a world full of genetic oddities, technological demons, and mysterious ruins.
