Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

This novena prayer was recited every day by Padre Pio for all those who asked for prayers. The faithful are invited to recite it daily, so as to be spiritually united with the prayer of Padre Pio.

I. O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.” Behold I knock, I seek and ask for the grace of [insert your intention.] Our Father…Hail Mary…Glory be to the Father…Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

II. O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, if you ask any thing of the Father in my name, He will give it to you.” Behold, in your name, I ask the Father for the grace of [insert your intention.] Our Father…Hail Mary…Glory be to the Father…Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

III. O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away.” Encouraged by your infallible words I now ask for the grace of [insert your intention.] Our Father…Hail Mary…Glory be to the Father…Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have pity on us miserable sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of you, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, your tender mother and ours.

Say the Hail, Holy Queen and add: St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, pray for us.

All Saints Day

I grew up in a devout Catholic family and attended Catholic schools from Kindergarten through college. As a result, I was deeply immersed in our parish church and actively volunteered for various ministries in our community and at school. However, during my college years, I received a diagnosis of Lupus, Henoch Schonlein purpura, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. After a prolonged period of treatment, my doctor recommended that I begin a Novena to St. Jude, the Patron Saint of Hopeless Cases. My health condition felt quite challenging, and I was in desperate need of divine intervention. This marked the beginning of my devotion to St. Jude.

As I've grown older, I've continued to seek the intercession of several other saints, including St. Clare, Padre Pio, St. Therese, and many more. On this All Saints Day, I want to take a moment to remember and express my deep gratitude for all their intercessions.

Father Dolindo Ruotolo was an Italian Roman Catholic priest, miracle worker and prophet, who suffered the wounds of Christ. He was called the “mouthpiece of the Holy Spirit.” He was totally dedicated to Mary, Mother of God and the rosary. He was Padre Pio's spiritual director who called him a saint. His life was one of humiliation and inner pain. Our Lord gave him the “Surrender Novena” “O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, You take care of everything.” He offered himself as a victim soul for mankind and was afflicted with many sufferings, including complete paralysis for the last ten years of his life.

Chaplet of Archangel St. Michael

“Whoever would practice this devotion in his honour would have, when approaching the Holy Table, an escort of nine angels chosen from each of the nine Choirs. In addition, for the daily recital of these nine salutations, he promised his continual assistance and that all the holy angels during life, and after death deliverance from Purgatory for themselves and all their relations.”

The St. Michael Chaplet was recommended by St. Padre Pio to all of his spiritual children and to those who were suffering from temptations. It can be prayed daily or at any time and is especially recommended on the following feasts: • Apparition of St. Michael the Archangel (May 8) • Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael (September 29) • Holy Guardian Angels (October 2) • Archangel St. Raphael (October 24) • And on Tuesdays Commence a novena to complete on the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary (October 7)

What surrender looks like

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

What our Lord wants flies in the face of normal human inclination and reason. We can only rise to this level of thinking through the grace of God and the help of the Holy Spirit.

We must let go of our problems, stop worrying and trying to resolve them ourselves. We must believe, trust and allow our Lord to rescue us from ourselves and supply our wants, needs and resolve our problems as only He can.

Jesus, You take care of it, should be the first words that come to mind and flows from our lips. After all, we have tried to do things our way and look where it has got us.

Just do as the prayer says, open our hearts and minds in love and close our eyes in trust and ask Jesus to take care of it. He will.

On November 19, 1970 Don (Fr) Dolindo Ruotolo died at the age of 88. Padre Pio once said of this priest from Naples, Italy, The whole of paradise is in your soul. His name “Dolindo” means “Pain” and his life was rich with this pain. As a child, a teenager, a seminarian and a priest, he experienced humiliation, which was the realization of the prophetic words of a bishop who said You will be a martyr, but in your heart, not with your blood.

In his profound humility, he was able to hear the words of God. Even with his hidden life he was one of the greatest prophets of the last century. He wrote to Bishop Hnilica in 1965 that a new John will rise out of Poland with heroic steps to break the chains beyond the boundaries imposed by the communist tyranny. On this postcard, he wrote words of consolation for Poland and all the countries suffering under the communist regime. This prophecy was realized in the papacy of John Paul II.

I HAVE A RATHER LARGE CONCAVE AREA IN MY LEFT CALF MUSCLE. BUT I CAN WALK AND STRONGER EVERY DAY WITH MY WALKER!! I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THE HOSPITAL CARE, ALLTHE IN HOME CARE I AM RECEIVING.
