The New RANGE ROVER VELAR launch event! It is a beautiful classy SUV with a big price tag. It is as luxury as the Range Rover but with a lower and slick roof top, it sure looks more sporty then its big brother. Yet, I feel slightly just put off by it because everything is kind of halfway done, half way everything. It is just not quite the same if you’re looking for a real classic Range Rover. Simply to say, it is just not big enough to conquer the road! #rangerover #rangerovervelar #britishclassic #britishmotorcar #newcarlaunch #luxurylifestyle #gimmickhouse #kingoftheroad #lendmesomemoney #whoisyourdaddy (at 邵氏影城 Shaw Studios)

This article provides a detailed breakdown of all the new cars that hit the Indian market in April 2024. The popular XUV300 has received a facelift and is now christened the XUV 3XO. Mahindra has sharpened the exterior design for a bolder look, while simultaneously elevating the cabin's premium feel. Mechanically, it retains the familiar petrol and diesel engines from its predecessor. However, a significant upgrade comes in the form of a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission available with both the turbo-petrol engines. The diesel variant continues with the tried-and-tested 6-speed AMT. Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus (Starting at Rs 11.39 lakh): The facelift of the Mahindra TUV300 Plus has arrived, now known as the Bolero Neo Plus. The SUV boasts refreshed exterior elements and a more modern, inviting cabin design. New Partnerships and Collaborative Efforts Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor (Starting at Rs 7.74 lakh): April 2024 witnessed another product of the successful collaboration between Toyota and Maruti Suzuki - the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor. Essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Fronx, the Taisor features some unique Toyota design tweaks on the exterior. Powertrain options remain identical to the Fronx, offering a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (90 PS/113 Nm) and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (100 PS/148 Nm). Both engines come with a standard 5-speed manual transmission. The naturally aspirated petrol gets an optional 5-speed AMT, while the turbocharged unit boasts a sophisticated 6-speed automatic gearbox. Global Icons Make Their Mark 2024 Skoda Superb (Price: Rs 54 lakh): While enthusiasts anticipated the arrival of the next-generation Skoda Superb, the carmaker opted to extend the previous-gen model's innings in India. This time, however, it comes as a fully imported offering. The Superb retains its familiar configuration with the powerful 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with the slick-shifting 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch automatic) gearbox. 2024 Jeep Wrangler (Starting at Rs 67.65 lakh): The iconic Jeep Wrangler received a facelift in April 2024, primarily focusing on refreshing the exterior design. Although the price tag has climbed by Rs 5 lakh compared to the pre-facelift model, the core 2.0-litre turbo-petrol powertrain remains unchanged. Jeep equips the Wrangler with serious off-road hardware, making it a true champion of conquering tough terrains. The 8-speed automatic transmission ensures a smooth and powerful driving experience. FAQs: Q: Which car launched in April 2024 offers the most affordable starting price? The wait is finally over! After years of anticipation, the much-awaited Force Gurkha 5-door has been officially unveiled. This larger and more versatile iteration of the iconic off-roader promises to redefine adventure travel with its expanded capabilities and upgraded features. This comprehensive guide delves into the details of the Force Gurkha 5-door, exploring its design changes, interior features, upgraded specifications, and overall enhancements. Force Gurkha 5-Door Rugged Exterior with a Functional Twist: Evolution, Not Revolution While the Gurkha 5-door retains the rugged and imposing exterior that defines the Gurkha legacy, subtle yet impactful design tweaks elevate its overall appeal: Familiar Yet Distinct Front Profile: The Gurkha 5-door maintains the signature look of its 3-door counterpart in the front. The iconic grille design, robust bonnet, and functional bumpers remain unchanged. The air snorkel, a standard feature, underscores the vehicle's off-road prowess. LED Illumination and Improved Functionality: The Gurkha 5-door boasts the same round-shaped LED headlights with the addition of a cornering function, enhancing visibility during tricky maneuvers. The DRL setup mirrors the 3-door version, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic. The Defining Feature: The Additional Doors: The most noticeable change lies on the sides. The Gurkha 5-door introduces an additional set of doors, expanding passenger capacity and facilitating easier access to the rear seats. Despite the addition of doors, key elements like wheel arches, cladding, and side steps remain identical to the 3-door Gurkha, preserving the vehicle's rugged design language. Redesigned Wheels and Consistent Rear Design: Adding a touch of modern flair, the Gurkha 5-door features redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels. These wheels are also incorporated into the updated 2024 version of the 3-door Gurkha, creating a sense of design continuity across the Gurkha lineup. The rear profile of the Gurkha 5-door mirrors the 3-door version. The design elements, including the boot lip, bumpers, and tail lights, remain unchanged, ensuring a familiar and robust aesthetic. An Upgraded Cabin: Balancing Functionality with Comfort While the overall cabin layout retains the practicality of the 3-door Gurkha, the Gurkha 5-door introduces key upgrades that enhance comfort and functionality: Familiar Layout with a Touchscreen Upgrade: The Gurkha 5-door maintains the central console layout, climate controls, AC vents, and steering wheel design found in its 3-door predecessor. The most significant change on the dashboard is the inclusion of a larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This new system supports wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing for seamless smartphone integration and enhanced entertainment options. Distinct Seat Design for a Fresh Look: The front seats in the Gurkha 5-door retain the same design as the 3-door version, offering comfort and support during off-road adventures. However, the Gurkha 5-door boasts a distinct seat pattern in red, contrasting with the blue color used in the 3-door Gurkha. Second-Row Comfort with Added Flexibility: The Gurkha 5-door features comfortable bench seats in the second row, similar to the 3-door version. These seats are equipped with a center armrest and cupholders, providing a convenient space for additional passengers. The Highlight: The Third Row and Seating Capacity: The Gurkha 5-door truly shines with the introduction of a third-row seating configuration. This addition allows for a total passenger capacity of seven, including the driver. The third row features captain seats, offering greater individual comfort compared to a bench seat. Important Note on Third-Row Access and Luggage Space: Access to the third row is through the rear door of the Gurkha 5-door. This may limit available luggage space when all seats are occupied. However, the Gurkha 5-door comes with the option of a roof carrier, providing a solution for storing luggage on extended trips. FAQs: Q: What are the key differences between the Force Gurkha 3-door and the new 5-door version? A: The most significant difference lies in the addition of two rear doors and a third-row seating configuration in the Gurkha 5-door, increasing passenger capacity to seven. Additionally, both the Gurkha 5-door and the 2024 3-door Gurkha receive an upgraded 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Q: How does the third-row seating impact luggage space? A: Since access to the third row is through the rear door, utilizing all seven seats may limit available luggage space in the Gurkha 5-door. However, the optional roof carrier provides a solution for storing luggage on longer journeys. Q: When will the Force Gurkha 5-door be launched, and what is the expected price range? A: The Force Gurkha 5-door is expected to be launched in early May 2024. Confirmed pricing details are not yet available, but estimates suggest a price range between ₹15.50 Lakh and ₹16.00 Lakh (approximately USD 19,000 to USD 19,500). Q: Is the Force Gurkha 5-door a good choice for off-road enthusiasts? A: The Gurkha 5-door retains the off-road prowess of its predecessor, featuring a robust build, high ground clearance, and potentially (information not yet confirmed) an upgraded engine for improved performance on challenging terrain. While the additional doors and third-row seating may add weight, the Gurkha 5-door is still expected to be a capable off-road vehicle. Q: Where can I find more information about the Force Gurkha 5-door? A: You can stay updated on the latest information regarding the Force Gurkha 5-door by following Force Motors' official website and social media channels. Additionally, automotive news websites and publications may provide reviews and detailed specifications closer to the launch date.

This high-tech display replaces the traditional analog gauges and provides drivers with a clear view of crucial vehicle information, including tire pressures and off-road modes. Tech Enhancements: The 5-door Gurkha embraces the digital age with a larger touchscreen infotainment system. Fresh Alloy Design: The 5-door Gurkha gets new alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, offering a combination of style and functionality for conquering any terrain. Practical Touches: Maintaining the Gurkha's practicality, the tailgate-mounted spare wheel, ladder, and snorkel are all carried over from the 3-door model, ensuring the new variant remains well-equipped for off-road expeditions. Powertrain: Time-Tested Performance The 5-door Gurkha is likely to retain the proven 2.6-liter diesel engine from the 3-door model. This engine is known for its reliability and strong performance, churning out 90 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. However, there's a possibility of the engine being tuned for slightly higher output in the 5-door variant to handle the additional weight. The familiar 5-speed manual transmission is expected to carry over, along with a robust 4-wheel-drive (4WD) system and a low-range transfer case. This proven drivetrain combination ensures the 5-door Gurkha maintains its exceptional off-road capabilities. Frequently Asked Questions: Q: When will the Force Gurkha 5-door launch in India? Calling all off-road enthusiasts! The wait for the much-anticipated Force Gurkha 5-door is nearly over. Force Motors recently released a teaser showcasing several design details of this extended version of their iconic Gurkha. This new model promises to combine the legendary off-road prowess of the Gurkha with increased practicality for adventure seekers who crave space for friends and family. Let's delve deeper into the revealed details and explore what the Force Gurkha 5-door has in store. Fresh Design Elements for Enhanced Capability The teaser offers a glimpse into the exterior design of the Gurkha 5-door, revealing a familiar yet upgraded aesthetic. Here's a breakdown of the key design updates: Force Gurkha 5-door Teaser Retained Ruggedness: The Gurkha 5-door stays true to its roots, maintaining the signature rounded headlight design with LED DRLs forming the outer ring and powerful LED headlamps. The iconic Force grille with prominent Gurkha badging reinforces the brand identity and signifies a unified design language for both the 3-door and 5-door variants. Modernized Touches: The teaser unveils new 16-inch alloy wheels for the Gurkha 5-door, designed to complement its rugged persona. These wheels are expected to be wrapped in thick all-terrain tires, ensuring superior grip and traction on challenging terrain. The vertically stacked taillights seem to retain the basic design of the current Gurkha with a rounded element at the top, offering a sense of familiarity while keeping the look fresh. Functional Enhancements: The silhouette clearly shows the Gurkha 5-door will retain the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate, a signature feature of off-road vehicles. While the teaser doesn't explicitly show the bumpers, we can expect design differences between the front and rear bumpers for the 3-door and 5-door versions to accommodate the extended length and potentially offer improved approach and departure angles. Adventure-Ready Accessories: The teaser showcases the 5-door Gurkha equipped with accessories ideal for off-road adventures. These include a roof ladder with a jerry can for additional fuel storage and a roof-mounted snorkel for enhanced water-wading depth, allowing drivers to tackle challenging terrains with greater confidence. Unveiling the Gurkha 5-door Interior (What We Know So Far) While Force has yet to reveal the official interior design of the Gurkha 5-door, various test mule sightings offer some clues. Here's what we can expect: Seating Options: Test mule sightings suggest the Gurkha 5-door might offer a choice of two or three rows of seats, potentially translating to three seating configurations – 5, 6, and 7-seaters. This increased seating capacity caters to larger groups and families who enjoy off-road adventures together. Utilitarian Focus: Similar to the outgoing Gurkha, the 5-door is expected to maintain a utilitarian interior with fabric upholstery and a generous use of hard plastics. This approach prioritizes durability and ease of cleaning, ideal for post-adventure cleanups. Features Expected in the New Gurkha The Gurkha 5-door is likely to be offered in a single, well-equipped variant, providing the essential comforts expected in this segment. Here's a breakdown of the anticipated features: Connectivity & Entertainment: A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility is a strong possibility, ensuring seamless smartphone integration for navigation, music streaming, and hands-free calling. Convenience Features: Front power windows, a tire-pressure monitoring system, a 12V power socket, and manual AC are likely to be standard features, offering essential conveniences for on-road and off-road journeys. Safety Features: In terms of safety, the Gurkha 5-door will likely offer at least dual front airbags, ABS, and rear parking sensors. The new model might even come equipped with a rearview camera for enhanced visibility when reversing, particularly in tight off-road situations. Off-road Capability: Based on test mule sightings, the 5-door Gurkha is expected to feature an electronic shift-on-the-fly system for toggling between 2WD, 4WD, and 4-low modes. This system allows drivers to adapt to varying terrain conditions, from paved roads to challenging off-road environments. The 3-door Gurkha currently uses a physical shifter for this purpose, so the electronic system in the 5-door might be a welcome upgrade for some users.
