LegendsCon is a fan-run convention celebrating the original Expanded Universe books, comics, games, and other media that are now known as Legends. We seek to create an event that brings together fans in an environment that fosters positivity and inclusivity while we celebrate our love of Legends material. Our growing guest list includes Randy Stradley, Matthew Stover, Corinna Bechko, Sean Stewart, Barbara Hambly and Abel Peña.

We are an unofficial community organized event, which is not sponsored, run by, or affiliated with Lucasfilm Ltd. All event proceeds will go to The Peter Mayhew Foundation.

Her transition from desert planet native to English Channel swimming barrier-breaker may only be temporary, but out on the promotion trail hyping her new film Young Woman and the Sea, Daisy Ridley was (unsurprisingly) asked about her forthcoming return as Rey in New Jedi Order, and made it crystal clear that she would very much welcome the return of her Golden Globe winning former co-star John Boyega to the galaxy far, far away. One thing the actress will be doing is returning to Star Wars, with a film set 15 years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Asked if her co-star John Boyega will also be joining her in the new film she played coy; does she want him to be a part of it? “Absolutely, of course,” Ridley said of the two being back together. “It feels like we should, yeah.” Ridley also compared the physical work she's done in previous films to the challenges of looking as authentic as possible when swimming La Mange. “I feel like, generally, the stuff I learned for Star Wars is transferable; I did an action movie [Cleaner] before Christmas with Martin Campbell, had to really beat some people up, and you’re learning new skills but they’re transferable, what you already have,” she explained. “But swimming is just a different thing, so it felt like really starting at the beginning. And I remember a month into filming thinking, ‘Oh, I think I’ve actually figured out how to swim,’ but it takes a while.” With The Acolyte about to arrive, Skeleton Crew following afterwards and The Mandalorian & Grogu heading towards production, let's hope we get some word on the status of the Rey film over the summer.
