Yalt
Pronunciation
y-all-t
Appearance
Standing an average of twelve units in height they are mostly humanoid, though a desiccated husk of one. Their flesh is a mottled grey with massive chunks of it missing leaving a festering wound behind that does not bleed.
No yalt has been seen with eyes leaving a gaping hole where they once may have sat. When asked, the yalt known as Ever-wandering-crafter warned the official. "Never ask again child of the guardian for I shall not answer."
From their back juts out spires of bone that often become home to many birds which will remain at peace with one another in the presence of a yalt due to the excess food in the way of flies, maggots, and beetles.
It has been recorded during a discussion with star-bound-healer that the yalt in question broke up a dispute between a sparrow hawk and an aging owl for a spot among its back spikes before mediating them by growing silent, before after a moment of concentration another spire of bone grew for the hawk.
Their maw stretches their face when opened to full capacity showing off a throat filled with long fine teeth that shred anything that a yalt consumes.
Diet
Rarely eating, yalt are able to consume any meats that they can fit in their mouth often filling their mouth with the muulnir, cattle, and deer of Grania's plains.

Classified - Class 1
Communication
Yalt are capable of communicating through mental and auditory stimuli, of which they are capable of initiating both in a way that is understandable by most recorded sentient species.

Culling of the Populace
With a gasp Lord Davin throws himself back. "Demon!"
Turning around Lady Crofex screams in panic dropping her glass. "Run!"
"What are you doing?!" Shouting as he throws Sable aside Locken reaches the doors before realizing that they're locked from the outside.
Running forward swinging her zweihander Eirnet doesnt think. Once, cutting down the merchant guild head. Twice, removing the arm of a noblewoman. As Eirnet steps over a disarmed woman, she swings a final time disemboweling the woman's steward.
In the background, guards move only a step behind removing the rest of the filth from the room.
As she steps past a toppled dining table she hears the cracking of glass before turning to block the strike for her kidney.
"I will not die here!" Unable to study him before the charge she takes her stance.
She turns to parry the arming sword. Swing. Block. Backstep. Slash. Back and forth. Clearly a practiced swordsman he follows her blow for blow. Until. 'CRACK' His blade falls under her magically charged swing cleaving him shoulder to hip.
"You royalist whore."
"The words of a traitor may as well be the barking of a foaming mongrel." She calmly states not bothering to look back in the slightest.
The throne room was in chaos. Nobles running in terror. Their guards attempting and failing to put up a fight to the King's high guard.
Turning to the throne Eirnet saw a tall man sitting upon it, King Dan'tel II. With free-flowing grey hair reaching his waist, bright blue eyes, and a strong jaw he was a handsome man even into his mid-forties.
Turning to her. "Are you not going to continue removing this filth from my view?"
Staring ahead slowly mulling her words. "Do you use a warhammer to kill ants? It would be overkill."
Looking at her for a moment as the final nobles were killed he huffs. He then stands up seeing the last of the nobles fall. "You are right-" stretching his neck he continues. "-and you were the first to follow the command."
Raising his arms to address the room as he starts his way down the dias. "My loyal guards. You who have helped purge these false nobles who dared betray their oaths. Drug trade, rape, slavery. These are but a few of their proven crimes. Yet they controlled the courts. So I called forth my own jurors, and executioners with me as their judge. Let no man call you craven for you are heroes, and I shall ensure there are songs sung of this day. All except my current guards are to have the day off starting now."
Now at the bottom of the dias he smiles as his tone lowers. "Now that the speech is over I want to truly thank all of you."
Putting her hand behind her back taking a parade stance Eirnet states. "There is no need for thanks, Your Grace. We were merely doing our duty."
King Dan'tel puts his hand on her shoulder. "And yet, my thanks are given. So accept them when they are rightfully gained."
After thanking each guard by their name he leaves out the rear entrance to the throne room.
Separating, the high guard quickly leave the throne room in silence until only Eirnet remained. Standing before the throne as workers came in to clean the floor, she thinks onto what just occurred and recites a saying she remembers hearing from her mother years ago.
"For he is of the gods, throwing his crown to the sky, all below shall kneel."
After a few minutes of introspection, she leaves the room just as disappointed as she entered.
Yet as she leaves one of the workers look over and finish the rhyme. "For those who rebel, his wrath brings not but death, eternal shall he reign."

Height: 9 - 11 IU (Imperial unit) - 6" 9'
Weight: 70 - 80 IN (Imperial Nat) 700 pd
They stand heavily on four stocky limbs that end in four thick claws that are engineered to break through ice and hold a howla's weight.

They possess two pairs of forward-facing eyes that range from slate grey to navy blue, that possess a thick clear layer to protect them while scanning for prey.
Their tail is long with thick strong muscles. Mourgh
Pronunciation
M-or-g
Appearance
Mourgh are large bipedal creatures that can reach heights of thirteen to fifteen feet yet hunch to around two feet less then their max height. Their legs are digitrade taking up 1/3 of their height.
They have feet that posses three forward facing 'toes' that are wide as well as webbed with two spires of bone that act as the heel that they balance upon.
Their arms go 2/3 the length of their body. They are built with shoulder elbow and wrist joints and while their hands are humanoid they posses elongated fingers with webbing between them.
Their skin colors differ (males dark brown - light tan)(females light cerulean to midnight blue) with blue or white stripes coming from their eyes down to their tail to continue towards the end.
Their faces are smooth. Projecting forward from the neck with a psuedo hood. From the back of their head and lying on top of the upturned 'hood's comes a head tail that split into three manipulators with serrated tips for males. These headtails reach to the back of their knees and as they grow older can reach even further.
Communication
Mourgh are capable of human speech and though their own is quite complicated it can be taught. Their voices are made using thin vibrating plates that cause them to sound musical in their speaking and allowing a wider range of noises.
Location
They can be found anywhere warm where fish are found. They often move in groups as large as 30 members and though they prefer fresh pure water they can live in swamps and on the coast.
Reproduction
Mourgh breed during spring when fish are aplenty, and easier to catch due to them traveling in larger swarms.
When a female Mourgh is pregnant they are waited upon by the others in their pod for the seven months it takes for the newborn to be born.
Once the young mourgh is born it will be able to walk, though a bit wobbly. They will grow quickly over the next seven years until they have reached maturity.
Prauna capabilities
So far there have been two documented Mourgh showing magical abilities.
One by the name of Suuwo was the leader of a coastal pod, and used powerful magic to draw in shallow fish, rays, and sharks.
The second was a young Mourgh based in a river pod that died after using magic that caused his blood to turn acidic. It is unknown how he managed this which has baffled many scholarly mages over the years. His name was never given.
Additional
Their appetite is so large that when a pod is asked inland often large pots of fish stew is made by Granian chefs to keep them fed.

Establishment of the crown
In 1784 DOH (Day Of the Hand) (2170 IC) during the fall of the Iskarin Empire, the continent of Gestade lost all contact with the outside world.
The Iskarin Empire that fell into Solshade, Gaun, and Minnan no longer supported the colonies which quickly fell into a depression. This was caused by a sudden lack of resources needed to sow fields, craft clothing, and produce goods.
The colony was dying slowly. After three years of decay, a Lord who had stayed loyal to the colony found a massive store of iron during the mountain surveys he ordered with his dwindling funds.
Once found he organized the people to start mining immediately. As they mined Lord Hunrack negotiated with Gaun, a newly formed isand-based nation, for a favorable deal. It was through these deals that it was finally decided that Minnan was to be the name of the nation continues.
Through these trade routes, the colony once more grew and continued to grow after more surveys revealed massive amounts of metal deposits.
By this time the people started to hail Lord Hunrack as the great savior of their time. It was through this that the newly created nation decided that he was to truly rule them. But it was not this that secured hereditary rule. That would be set by his son Lord Nedine.
As he grew he was taught by his father and his council how to rule, and he did it well when his time came with overwhelming support. He negotiated good deals, helped the people organize into proper cities, and ensured that their navy became feared throughout the world.
At the age of thirty-seven on the day of his son's birth, he revealed that he would be a Crown Prince, and the first Minnish King his son King Bernard I.
Amidst a sea of applause, there was not one person who dared oppose this act, but the beginnings of trouble had started to grow from this day on in the form of sequestered meetings and whispered plans.

Granian resource report: N-4-7a
Granian fermented Loira
As one of Grania's most expensive exports, only three hundred velts of it are sold, legally, a year.
Made from the fruit of a Yert tree, the fruit grows hanging in sets of three sky blue pods that are skinned before being pulped.
A series of heady spices are added to the mix then poured into a clay pot that is then sealed for the next sixteen years with workers checking the drink every four years to check look, smell, and taste.
Finally, after sixteen years of waiting the pots are checked one final time.
At this point, the drink is a midnight blue and smells of heady spice.
These pots can go for as much as twelve whent, for export. Within Grania, it would cost as little as one fifty for a lower grade pot of loira.
The reason loira is so expensive is due to Grania's fierce protection from the spreading of yert seeds and pirates and smugglers protect them from the black market buyers to keep the price high. The velt tree is also a very picky plant requiring massive amounts of water and only able to grow in mineral heavy soils. This means the few seeds that get through export fail to sprout.

Granian information report: P-884-C-6
Granian reports
Grania possesses a massive log of information held within the Schola Operandis that holds a copy of every report ever made since it's creation in 104 AHL.
When the schola was first created reports on many things needed to be created in case of government death that another could rise in it's place to protect the people of Grania's territories.
To fix this instead of corporal punishment failing soldiers, scholars, and nobles would be forced to write, copy, and file reports on mundane things within the empire.
These are the main line of report classifications used in punishment.
C - Civilian
D - Daily
H - Historical
M - Military
N - National
O - Operational

Identification
As per Granian law, every soldier is given a small one unit in length medallion with their name on it for legal identification in their day to day lives, but it is also used for the Granian memorial in Grand harbor.
Hidden within the southern mountain range of Tylaria (A formal name has not been recognized due to the Imperial Council's lack of cohesion in choice.) is a large antechamber that contains a single hallway leading down.
At the end is a resplendent chamber made entirely of shades of marble shaped into figures of victory and conquest.
Split into four squares hang every reclaimed pendant of soldiers who've lost their lives in battle.
Following the gap between these monolithic monuments ends with a gerite statue carved with the words Lost and Searching in platinum on an opened book.
This is the chamber for those who have fallen in battle, if a soldier dies of natural causes the family is allowed to keep the medallion, but it is considered a great honor for one's medallion to hang among so many heroes of Granian history.
The chamber is known by the populace as the Hall of Heroes and while most would love to see it, searching for the location is considered taboo throughout Grania.

Naramen Bestiary
[Classified - Class 4]
Schola Identicaida:
Eterna Unitae
Iskariin Identicaida:
Daunri
Pronunciation:
(Da-oon-ri)
Appearance:
Standing at a minimum height of forty feet at full size, these colossi are considered minor gods by many cultures due to their reality-warping nature.
Their "face" is a mass of feelers hiding the ocular lobes that line the face in three pairs. Once they have found a receptacle to hide in, their skull will start to deteriorate before, with a tremendous heave they will shatter their skulls filling the receptacle with their feelers, and pulling the organs of the skull into their new place, the feelers use their structure to provide a framework for the flesh to expand and hold.
Their ocula supranis are pitch black with their ocula centra coming in a variety of colors.
Their two arms end in three, wide claws that while sharp are meant for scything through the plant life, and scooping away the silt of marsh, and swamps.
Their bodies are hunched and their silhouette hidden by their massive coats of hair.
Their hair, though soft to the human eye is incredibly firm and ends in a sharp point. This is the most visual on its tail that collects in a wide fan of sharp bristles that can be flicked with enough force to fling these hairs at a threat.
Diet:
Their diet consists mostly of the plant matter, fish, and eels of their wetland environments.
Behavior:
Daunri are peaceful creatures to those who approach with respect.
Often dawning the face of dead creatures, there is even a report by Skilan scouts that claimed to have seen one wearing a rotted tree trunk to hide its face.
The oldest of the Daunri will often grow large trees upon their back, and through their "mask" to further protect their face.
Communication:
Daunri cannot vocalize the Iskariin language but are capable of communicating emotions and basic ideas through telepathic communication, though they are not capable of initiating this themselves.
Capable of Dormin vocalizations allows for the Dormin population within Ferend swamps to cohabitate
Reproduction:
Every Daunri is born capable of reproducing through a set of pods that sit upon their back, these pods in their dormant stage are on average four units in length and three-fourths of a unit-wide.
(According to the Ascended being known as "The Slothen King") - There are thirty-six Daunri at all times, when a Daunri dies it will immediately begin to grow in a pod upon another's back, the bearing Dauri will then plant the pod deep within appropriately mineralized soil and protect the pod until the new Dauri awakens. Once the pod grows to maximum capacity it will go into a form of petrification until the population of Dauri reaches twenty-nine where one shall awaken to keep the population at thirty. When asked why thirty is the limit if there are another six ready for a new life it simply smiled and replied. "It's not thirty that's important, it is twenty-seven. Thirty is just so there's no weakening during the intermittent months it takes for a Dauri to awaken.
Advantages:
Their thick coat is nearly impenetrable by any known material, though they are loose enough that a firm tug will cause them to be lost.
Daunri possess massive 'souls' that allow them to bare their will upon their environments most often slowing time to their perception. Though the Dauri of Larcken has been recorded as allowing prauna to be seen as waves of color through the air that produce sound.
Struggles:
Due to their small gait, they move slowly and are easy prey to pack predators. Though it is rare for a Dauri to travel when they so they will often seek a settlement for protection.
Masks are often fragile and a debilitating injury should it be broken. Due to this many Dauri (Those who reside away from a populace.) will not allow anyone to approach their head.
Additional:
It is an unsaid challenge to bring a Daunri a new mask that it will change out for. It is in stories of heroes and kings that bring a new mask to a Dauri in pursuit of their blessing.

Nations of Naramen: [Classified - Class 2]
Catching the crumbling ruins
Name:
Solshade
Location:
Iskariin continent
Gov't type:
Feudal Monarchy
Reign:
2175(IC)-2651(IC) (current day)
Current leader:
Crown prince Verein, Crown prince Jheris, Crown princess Mirrin.
History:
With the Iskariin empire crumbling around them the soldiers meant to guard the roads and towns were recalled to defend the cities, people outside of them took care of themselves any way they could.
Bandits, vigilantes, and rebellions grew rampant causing trade to dwindle, many crumbling cities fell into chaos within a year.
In the city of Skilan, the driggit known as Matches realized that for his city to survive that he needed to prepare while the loose ties of the Iskariin gov't were still protecting them from outright anarchy.
After he gathered the people of the city he spoke. "My people of Skilan, I stand before you as but one man claiming treason, I ask of you not to think of me as your driggit at this moment, but I ask that you listen for yourself so that you can make your own decision."
For many hours he spoke, with record keepers writing down every word, of economy and governance, the greater politics of Iskar, even on the world's true opinions of the empire, (Empire, a word that used to be shouted with pride now brought horror.) he then spoke of the future, of the needs of a city and how to procure them. He explained that they could handle all of these needs, that they could cut themselves from the gasping giant being crushed under its own weight.
After many hours of deliberation within a torchlit square, the people agreed to join the driggit, but they demanded that as he was the one asking for them to commit treason, that they would lead with him taking a mentorship role for the new leaders.
After two days of negotiations, it was agreed that the driggit would become a master to apprentice hereditary position that guided the rulers of Skilan.
Nowadays the driggit is still a highly coveted profession, it is a great honor for one to be picked from their lives to become the next Driggit.
Shockingly enough by the time Skilan was ready defensively to announce its sovereignty the capital city of Envela erupted into rebellion, with the sick citizens climbing over the fortified palace the guards fled through emergency passage after killing the Drigg who demanded they stay.
Governing system:
Each city has a prince/princess residing over it ensuring their territory's security. While the three princes/princesses of Skilan would be crowned as rulers overall.
Mandatory laws are passed by the crown princes/princesses, but every prince has the right to make laws as long as they do not break any standing law, but the crown princes/princesses may overturn any law they feel are not within acceptable standards.
