Concordia University in Montreal is welcoming 3 active duty IOF soldiers to speak on their campus on Monday.
keep in mind one of these soldiers has publicly advocated for the death of Muslim children, claiming that a 2 month old baby is an imminent threat. he has fully said that the IDF targets these children. not only has Concordia University been shutting down Muslim events on campus for no justifiable reason, they have decided to welcome terrorists onto their campus DESPITE their student population’s concerns. this is one of the most appalling actions i’ve seen a university take, especially considering the massacres that have impacted the families of Palestinian students at Concordia
the same man in this video, Aby Volcovich, has posted videos like this on his instagram
THESE ARE THE PEOPLE who will be on a university campus THIS Monday - would you feel safe? do you think your Palestinian/Arab/Muslim/ Jewish/BIPOC peers and allies will feel safe?
ID below the cut
ID: [First photo is a screenshot of a flyer promoting the event. It says “DiploAct's speaking delegation provides an authentic account of the nation's journey towards peace and stability since October 7th.” It has a photo of the three IOF soldiers with information about them which reads: “Nir Yosef is a Software engineer for Mastercard in Israel. He is also a reservist Major in the IDF, serving in the 8200 Intelligence corps unit. After October 7th he founded "The Israeli response" platform that teaches how to respond to anti-Israel and antisemitic claims worldwide. Ori Itzhaki is a 25 vear old computer science student at Reichman University, with a background in professional table tennis and tennis instruction. After five years in the "Egoz" commando unit, he now serves actively as an IDF reservist and fitness instructor. Proficient in Hebrew, English, and Arabic, he values diverse perspectives, embodying academic dedication, athletic prowess, and ongoing national service. Aby Volcovich is a 26 year old content creator and entrepreneur from Mexico raised in Canada, made Aliyah and joined the IDF as a lone soldier in the Nahal Brigade. Now a reservist, he serves on the northern Israeli border, actively defending and advocating for Israel both on the frontlines and online.”
The second photo is a testimony which reads: “BREAKING, WE RECEIVED A MESSAGE THAT WE MUST SHARE: "As a Muslim student parent attending Concordia University, I occasionally bring my child to campus. As a woman who wears the hijab, hearing that Aby Volcovich, an IDF soldier scheduled to speak at Concordia on March 4th, holds the belief that our children are terrorists and that they deserve to be killed, has made me feel unsafe on Concordia's campuses. I, in all honestly, no longer feel comfortable bringing my child with me as I used to before."] END ID

The most senior IDF commander dismissed for his role in the drone strike which killed seven aid workers in Gaza is a settler who signed an open letter in January calling for the territory to be deprived of aid, The Telegraph can reveal. A senior British lawyer said its contents – including a call for a “siege” of Gaza City – should be considered by the Israeli authorities investigating the killings. Col (Res) Nochi Mandel, the chief of staff of the Nahal Infantry Brigade, was one of two officers dismissed last week following the incident in which three vehicles belonging to the charity World Central Kitchen (WCK) were attacked by drones, killing all those inside, including three Britons. An investigation by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) characterised the strikes as a “grave mistake” but concluded there was no intentional harm. “Those who approved the strike were convinced that they were targeting armed Hamas operatives and not WCK employees,” it said.
The investigation into Col Mandel and his colleagues was led by retired Maj Gen Yoav Har-Even, president and CEO of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, sparking claims of bias. The IDF is one of Rafael’s biggest buyers. The company, which sells nearly half of its arms to Israeli clients, makes the ‘Spike missiles’ which are reported to have been used to kill the aid workers. “We demand the creation of an independent commission to investigate the killings of our WCK colleagues”, said WCK in the wake of the IDF report last week. “The IDF cannot credibly investigate its own failure in Gaza”.

Israel said it has withdrawn all its troops from southern Gaza, except for one brigade, a military spokesperson told Reuters. An Israeli brigade typically consists of a few thousand troops. The army did not clarify whether the withdrawal would delay a possible incursion into Rafah, where more than a million have sought refuge. The army added that the Nahal brigade will be stationed in the centre of Gaza and tasked with securing the "Netzarim corridor" and prevent Palestinians returning to the north.
What is the purpose of the corridor?
Israel has previously bisected the Gaza Strip during its initial invasion and operations around Gaza City before moving south, with an army logistics road winding through the territory. However, according to Israeli soldiers speaking with Channel 14, the purpose of the highway is to give Israel the ability to conduct incursions into the territory. Incursions into Gaza are actively being conducted by the Israeli army in the north of the strip as part of the military's 'third phase' of its war in Gaza.
This would involve the widespread use of targeted raids in northern Gaza against alleged Hamas remnants remaining in the city. Will the corridor exist after the war?
Another purpose of the corridor that Israeli soldiers told Channel 14 is to control the movement of people, with Ynet reporting that the corridor would prevent the return of one million residents from northern Gaza to their homes. Israel has previously stated that it will not allow the return of residents into northern Gaza until military operations end and the remaining Israeli hostages are returned.
Israel's Channel 14 claimed that the construction of the corridor showed that Israel was likely planning to stay in the Gaza Strip for years to come. This claim follows demands by Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to retain security control of the enclave following the war. Security control over the Gaza Strip would mean that following the end of hostilities Israel would retain the ability to conduct raids in the enclave.

Top IDF commander in aid strike wanted to block humanitarian supplies into Gaza
Investigation shows officer signed a letter to Israel’s War Cabinet demanding a ‘siege’ of Gaza City
Colonel (Res) Nochi Mandel, the chief of staff of the Nahal Infantry Brigade, was one of two officers dismissed last week following the incident in which three vehicles belonging to the charity World Central Kitchen (WCK) were attacked by drones, killing all those inside, including three Britons. An investigation by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) characterised the strikes as a “grave mistake” but concluded there was no intentional harm. “Those who approved the strike were convinced that they were targeting armed Hamas operatives and not WCK employees,” it said. In the letter, Col. Mandel, a religious nationalist who lives in a settlement in the occupied West Bank, called with more than 130 other reserve officers and commanders for the flow of aid into Gaza to be restricted. The letter was sent on January 20 to the Israeli War Cabinet and the IDF Chief of Staff and implored them  to “do everything in your power” not to allow “humanitarian supplies and the operation of hospitals inside Gaza City” following its evacuation.
[...]
Michael Mansfield, KC, head of Nexus Chambers and one of Britain’s leading barristers, said the letter should “absolutely” be considered by those investigating the incident. “The document is plainly relevant to a particular state of mind,” said Mr Mansfield. “In other words it is not indicating that the target of the Israeli army is primarily Hamas but Gaza as a whole by weaponising aid under siege conditions.

The troops were guarding vehicles and tanks preparing to enter Rafah.

The IDF says troops of the Maglan and Egoz commando units, along with other forces, have killed dozens of gunmen during a new offensive against Hamas in the al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis.
The raid, which began Sunday, is being carried out by the Commando Brigade, the Paratroopers Brigade's reconnaissance unit, and the 7th Armored Brigade's 77th Battalion.
The IDF says it has "precise intelligence" indicating that Hamas operatives are using civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, in the al-Amal neighborhood for terror activities.
Troops have also captured a large amount of weapons and located Hamas sites in the area, the IDF says.
Meanwhile, the IDF releases new details into its 10-day operation at the Hamad Town residential complex in southern Gaza's Khan Younis, which was wrapped up last week, where the military says troops captured some 300 terror operatives and killed around 100 gunmen.
That raid was also carried out by the Maglan and Egoz commando units, along with other forces. The commandos had raided the multi-story buildings in the Qatari-funded neighborhood, where the IDF said there was Hamas infrastructure.
Amid the raid at Hamad, troops also found the weapon of Col. Jonathan Steinberg, the commander of the Nahal Brigade who was killed during the October 7 onslaught.

🔻 Seventeen days have passed since the start of Israel's ground attack on Gaza. The army of this regime has about 4 Divisions - including the 80th Edom Division, the 143rd Gaza Division, the 162nd HaPlada Division and the 252nd Sinai Division - along with three special force brigades - the Givati, Golani, and Nahal - and also special units such as the Egoz Unit (the only specialized anti-guerrilla unit of the Israeli army). Now, the wheels of the war machine of the world's fourth biggest army have been stopped in the areas marked in purple.
▪️It should be noted that up until now, Israel has lost more than twice the total number of Merkava tanks that it lost during the 33-Day War. And back then, they were Merkava 3 tanks, while these are Merkava 4. Nonetheless, the actual statistics are much more than the announced casualties because Israel has prevented the announcement of all casualties and only announces about one-fifth of its casualties.

The IDF says it is continuing a large-scale operation in Gaza City's Zeitoun neighborhood, during which troops have been raiding Hamas sites and killing its operatives in the process.
Over the past day, the IDF says the 215th Artillery Regiment directed airstrikes against some 10 Hamas sites in Zeitoun, as the 401st Armored Brigade killed some 20 Hamas operatives in the area.
The 401st Brigade also destroyed numerous Hamas sites in the Gaza City neighborhood, the IDF says.
Nearby, in central Gaza, the IDF says the Nahal Brigade located and destroyed a rocket launcher that would have been used in an attack on Israel.
Meanwhile, in southern Gaza's Khan Younis, the 7th Armored Brigade killed more than 15 Hamas operatives; the Givati Brigade ambushed a Hamas cell with sniper fire;
and the Commando Brigade located a cache of weapons and documents, according to the IDF.
Also in southern Gaza, the Navy carried out strikes against vessels belonging to Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the IDF adds.

IDF has said that there are six remaining battalions of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, including four in Rafah.
There are many innocent Palestinians who have fled to Rafah seeking safety. For the sake of Humanity, I think Egypt should allow at least women and children out of Gaza to seek safety in the Sinai Peninsula. Once the ground operation in Rafah is finished, these women and children should be allowed to return to Gaza if they wish to do so.

[ 📹 Wounded civilians, including a young child, are brought to a hospital in Gaza after the Israeli occupation forces bombed a residential home belonging to the Shaat family in the Maraj neighborhood, northeast of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, on Wednesday. 📈 The death toll in Gaza has risen again, now exceeding 36'171 Palestinians killed, while another 81'420 others have been wounded since Oct. 7th, 2023. ]

236 DAYS OF GENOCIDE IN GAZA: ISRAELI TANKS ROLL THROUGH CENTRAL RAFAH, WHITE HOUSE CLAIMS ISRAELI OCCUPATION DOES NOT VIOLATE BIDEN'S RED LINE, OCCUPATION BOMBS TENTS IN 'SAFE ZONE' OF AL-MAWASI, GENOCIDE CONTINUES UNABATED
On 236th day of the Israeli occupation's ongoing special genocide operation in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a total of 6 new massacres of Palestinian families, resulting in the deaths of no less than 75 Palestinian civilians, mostly women and children, while another 284 others were wounded over the previous 24-hours.
It should be noted that as a result of the constant Israeli bombardment of Gaza's healthcare system, infrastructure, residential and commercial buildings, local paramedic and civil defense crews are unable to recover countless hundreds, even thousands, of victims who remain trapped under the rubble, or who's bodies remain strewn across the streets of Gaza.
This leaves the official death toll vastly undercounted, as Gaza's healthcare officials are unable to accurately tally those killed and maimed in this genocide, which must be kept in mind when considering the scale of the mass murder.
"The Israelis have said this was a tragic mistake," US National Security spokesperson, John Kirby, makes excuses for the Israeli occupation's bombing of a UNRWA displacement camp for Palestinian refugees in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, north of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, two nights ago that resulted in the deaths of at least 45 Palestinians and wounded 249 others.
The response came after Kirby was asked whether the slaughter in the displacement camp qualified as the kind of "death and destruction" Biden claimed he didn't want to see in Rafah, drawing a "red line" at an Israeli invasion of Gaza's southernmost city.
Kirby claimed the US doesn't have "a measuring stick here or a quota," going on to add that "We've also said we don't want to see a major ground operation in Rafah that would really make it hard for the Israelis to go after Hamas without causing extensive damage and potentially a large number of deaths. We have not seen that yet."
This comes at the same time as Israeli tanks and armored vehicles have been confirmed to have advanced into eastern, western and central Rafah, including Merkava tanks and remotely controlled M113 armored personnel carriers, which the Israeli media says are conducting operations "east of Rafah and advancing towards the center and west of the city."
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stated that "our forces are operating in Rafah with the aim of disbanding the Hamas battalions in Rafah, rocket launchers, heavy artillery, ammunition and terrorist tunnels."
Occupation forces are also operating along the "Philadelphi axis," south of Rafah, which they claim have discovered dozens of tunnels leading from Gaza into the Egyptian Sinai.
Occupation army officials were quoted in the Hebrew media as saying that "the operation in Rafah is progressing precisely with all the complexities- a million people have already been evacuated [forcefully displaced] from the city."
The Israeli occupation forces also said that the "Nahal Brigade," led by the 162nd Division is fighting in ongoing operations in Rafah, destroying so-called "terrorist infrastructure."
In the meantime, the Israeli occupation committed a new horrific massacre of innocent civilians, when occupation warplanes fired several missiles into the tents of displaced Palestinian refugees in the Al-Mawasi area, northwest of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, killing at least 21 civilians and wounding 64 others, at least 10 of whom remain in critical condition.
In response to the purposeful massacre, the Israeli occupation disavowed their responsibility for the strike, claiming on Tuesday evening that "contrary to reports received in the past few hours, the Israeli army did not attack the humanitarian area in Al-Mawasi," without elucidating on the details.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Hamas resistance movement stated that the "Zionist enemy" continues to "target the tents of displaced people west of Rafah, and commit a new massacre that claimed the lives of dozens of martyrs and wounded."
Hamas went on to state that the Israeli occupation is "actively challenging the decisions of the International Court of Justice through his decision to directly and deliberately target the largest number of civilians."
The Israeli occupation authorities had previously designated the Al-Mawasi area a "safe zone," and did not call for the evacuation of civilians from the heavily damaged neighborhood.
According to local reporting, the targeted displacement camp, filled with the tents of civilian families, was located just 100 meters from the American field hospital, west of Rafah.
Meanwhile, a number of civilians, including young children, were slaughtered overnight, while other residents were wounded, in an Israeli airstrike on the Khan Yunis Governate.
According to local correspondants, Zionist warplanes bombed a residential home belonging to the Abu Jazar family in the Ma'an neighborhood, south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of several civilians, including children, and wounded a number of others who were taken to the European Gaza Hospital in the city.
Several more civilians were killed after Israeli fighter jets bombed a house belonging to the Sharat family, near the government clinic in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
Similarly, Israeli aircraft targeted a residential home belonging to the Yassin family in the Mufti's land area, north of the Nuseirat Camp, in the central Gaza Strip.
IOF Merkava tanks have also been stationed in the central areas of the Yabna Refugee Camp, next to the Al-Huda Mosque in Rafah, in addition to advancing near the Care Junction, adjacent to the Ali Ibn Abi Talib Mosque, and also penetrated areas of the Al-Awda, Al-Najma, and Al-Sharqi neighborhoods.
Occupation Merkava tanks and armored personnel carriers were also witnessed advancing in the Burqa Stadium, and into the central areas of the Shaboura Camp, while Israeli missiles and artillery shelling bombed resident's homes at random, intermittently.
Israeli warplanes and vehicles also fired machine guns towards civilian homes in central and western Rafah, and also in the vicinity of the Tal Zu'rob neighborhood, southwest of the city.
Similarly, Zionist air forces bombed a house belonging to the Al-Ghurra family in the vicinity of the Abdullah Azzam Mosque, in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in the martyredom of 5 civilians and wounding a number of others.
Israeli occupation forces also killed Dr. Issam Rawhi Muhammad Aql, a doctor with the Al-Quds Hospital, who was murdered in his home in the Bureij Camp, in central Gaza, according to a report by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
The mass murder of Palestinians continued when Zionist air forces targeted a residential house belonging to the Hamdan family in the New Camp area of the Nuseirat Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, wounding three Palestinians who were transported to Al-Awda Hospital in the camp.
Neighborhoods east of Gaza City also experience intense gunfire from Israeli military vehicles, while occupation aircraft bombarded the western neighborhoods of the Jabalia Refugee Camp, in Gaza's north, resulting in several casualties.
Israeli airstrikes also pummeled areas of central and western Rafah, coinciding with artillery and tank shells fired into residential buildings.
In yet another war crime, Zionist warplanes bombed a gathering of civilians in the Kaf al-Mashrou area, east of the city of Rafah, resulting in civilian deaths and dozens of other casualties.
Civilians were also killed in an IOF bombing near Al-Iskan Al-Abyad, west of the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood of Rafah.
At the same time as Israeli tanks station themselves in neighborhoods across Rafah, Merkava tanks were also seen establishing control over neighborhoods east of the Jabalia Camp, in the northern Gaza Strip, advancing through blocks 1-8 while detonating residential homes and buildings in the area.
In another series of assaults, at least 9 civilians were killed, including a doctor, near Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya, in the northern Gaza Strip, while several others were killed and wounded in a strike on the town of Beit Hanoun.
As a result of the Israeli occupation's ongoing special genocide operation in the Gaza Strip, the death toll among the Palestinian population has increased to 36'171 killed, including upwards of 10'000 women and over 15'000 children, while another 81'420 others have been wounded since the start of the current round of Zionist aggression, beginning with the events of October 7th, 2023.

"This is Captain Yuval, an infantry commander in the Nahal Brigade. On Saturday morning, as soon as she heard about the horrors taking place, she ran out of her home with her gun in her pajamas.
She reports there were dead bodies all over the road, and that at some point, a group of terrorists on motorcycles drive towards her, and she empties a whole magazine on them killing two. She's calling her boss Colonel Steinberg, but he's been killed. Same with other commanders she tries reaching - all gone.
She located Captain Ron, and together they understand that only they are left to conduct this battle. They find a friend's house nearby, open up a war room, and begin directing the forces on the ground. Before most of us even woke up and understood what is happening, these two young captains were directing commandos and fighter pilots, and eliminated 22 terrorists, preventing them from taking control of two outposts. In their pajamas.
They are still out there fighting. We are in good hands!"
