I'm uncertain if there's a way to save this non profit but I'd like to encourage us all to try. We already lost another this past year 'Body Politic' because they did not get the financial supported needed to continue, which included expansion to be able to operate well.
Part of building community and a better future involves investing. And we cannot hope to have resources, infrastructure and responses to meet the progressive derailing and degrading conditions and societies around us without doing so.
It requires time, energy, heart and sometimes yes, money. The more we put into projects like this, local and small companies, sustainability, kindness, deconstructing & decolonization and less of ourselves and resources into people, organizations and projects that do not care about us or are harming us, we actually have a road to the bright possibilities we hope and speak of so beautifully.

It is entirely possible to protect employees and customers alike. People are worth investing in 💜 Businesses, schools, clinics and hospitals cannot use the excuse it's not possible or cost effective. Not that money should ever be more important than lives, human or otherwise. The future requires us to change our world and how we live whether covid is here to stay or not.

Food for Thought
JCT, Yanovskiy, Socol et alii, 2022.
Are Lockdowns Effective in Managing Pandemics?
“The price tag of lockdowns in terms of public health is high: by using the known connection between health and wealth, we estimate that lockdowns may claim 20 times more life years than they save. It is suggested therefore that a thorough cost-benefit analysis should be performed before imposing any lockdown for either COVID-19 or any future pandemic.”
Probably what John Ioannidis meant, when talking about an incoming “evidence fiasco”.

There is a growing trend to remove masking requirements/mandates from medical settings. Along with ended or ending data collection, funding for tests, masks, declarations to end the public health emergency, financial support or protections (sick leave, food aid, child tax credit, rescue checks, etc) as well as rising crushing price gutting and growing attacks and hit pieces on remote work and healthcare, this bodes bleak for addressing covid.
People need safe access to healthcare and workplaces. They should not have to worry about leaving a medical facility/workplace with a COVID infection or other respiratory or respiratory route illness.
Fight to make masking a permanent requirement in medical settings, care homes, group homes (for any staff and residents who can mask) and pharmacies!
Removing masks will also endanger vulnerable, disabled and or immunocompromised people -- tens of millions --, this includes massive growing wave of those with long covid. As well as increasing and further worsening those delaying care or avoiding it all together.
Check if your state still has requirements/mandates in place:
