Goncharov is a short visual novel, playing the 2-truth-1-lie game with its blurb. Faithful adaptation of the "movie" it is not. A trippy ride however... You are set to meet your girlfriend one last time before she moves for college, a date at the cinema to watch Goncharov... if you make it on time, that is.

Spoilers ahead. It is recommended to play the game first. The review is based on my understanding/reading of the story.

This game was very strange. Promising to be a faithful adaptation of Goncharov (the movie/meme), it subverts expectations with the narrator waking up in their room, remembering the date they agreed to attend today: one last with their girlfriend. Waiting before the cinema, you meet Jade, your beautiful girlfriend (looking like a businessman with the head of a cat*) and head inside. The cinema is eerily empty, but not too concerning for one in a small town. It is when you open the door to get to the room that something unexpected happens... *whyyyy????

I don't know what to think of the game, actually. Aside from a mention of the "movie" in the game and it being made by "Martin Scorcese", there is little to tie it back to the meme itself. Maybe the concept of time, with the impending departure of Jade - but even then, it feels a bit far-fetched. Even the subverting expectations felt a bit weak after a screen or two, and the twist was underwhelming.

I don't think I enjoyed it much...

A Netflix liberou o teaser de Maestro, filme dirigido e estrelado por Bradley Cooper, onde veremos a vida do compositor Leonard Bernstein.

No filme veremos a conturbada relação de Bernstein com a atriz e ativista Felicia Montealegre. Durante muitos anos, o músico, que é famoso por compor a trilha de Amor, Sublime Amor e é considerado um dos maiores compositores da história, escondeu sua homossexualidade, vivendo vários casos amorosos com outros homens.

Além de dirigir e atuar, Bradley também coescreveu o roteiro ao lado de Josh Singer. Vale lembrar que esté é o primeiro trabalho de Bradley por trás das câmeras desde que estreou nessa função em Nasce Uma Estrela, de 2018. Já a produção conta com Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Fred Berner, Amy Durning e Kristie Macosko Krieger.

Além de Bradley Cooper, o elenco ainda conta com Carey Mulligan, Maya Hawke, Matt Bomer, Michael Urie e Sarah Silverman.
