She has forest green lipstick, which has become iconic for her. She also has a dark green wedding ring. She is often seen with a sugary sweet smile.

As the Great-Grandma, Marquita wears a modest emerald green military dress with dark green buttons. She has a pair of dark green leather boots. She also wears a dark green halo hat. Her Sam Browne belt is dark green. There is a cattle prod, a crop, and a phone on it. She has a shawl whenever she’s outside.

As a Tamer, Marquita wears the high-ranking Tamer uniform. It consists of a military jacket and modest pants with black combat boots and gloves. Unlike lower-ranking tamers, who wear a standard duty belt, she still has her Sam Browne belt. On it, there are several attachments for a cattle prod, a small radio, a tranquilizer gun, a retractable ketch-all pole, a signal beacon, mace, a flashlight, three pairs of disposable gloves, a small first aid kit, and a small utility knife. Her hair is put into a bun with an emerald green military patrol kepi hat, which is a sign of her status.

Personality: Marquita is a strict disciplinarian who praised obedience and conformity. She is very strict and harsh when it comes to teenagers as she believes that they have the discipline to prevent them from committing horrid crimes later on, as per the Codice dell'Adolescenza. Despite her harsh nature, she is neither cruel nor sadistic. She stated that she has shown “tough love” and a “firm hand”. While she has a disdain for teenagers, she has more hatred for child abusers as she will make sure they suffer a painful death or suffer in the Fields. In special cases, she would either have the accused in brutal Barbarian fights where they have a low chance of survival or get executed by teenage Alphas and Deltas to show how it is their responsibility to ensure the safety of other ranks. She often has a calm and sweet demeanor towards children and the elderly despite the brutal scars on her face. Marquita has little issue with when they can frolic. She understands that sometimes, people MAY have to bend the rules a bit to help others. When she interrogates people, she approaches them with kindness instead of harshness. This is meant to create a sense of security and allows the suspect to be more open. She even brought in tea, milk, and cookies to get them to trust her. About: Marquita is a Delta Plus woman who has the high position of Great-Grandma, a title of disciplinary actions, management of youth, and untamed pups. She earned the title achieved by the time she was in her 20s. She was born in Rome, Italy. She is a military brat as her Delta father was a US serviceman, who married a Gamma woman. Due to the Great Economic Collapse, her mother had to work two jobs and her father had to help with crop production. In order to keep her busy, her father signed her up as a Junior Safety Patrol at age 10, an American-based volunteer program for guiding children and the elderly to their places of destination. While working there, she met a fellow patrol named Lidia Pavia. The two became fast friends. While it started as a safe and fun program, it soon became dangerous when youth gangs started to become more violent. Marquita and Lidia had to use abandoned ketch-all to fight them off, especially when they had to protect the elderly from harassment. The youth gangs were named Le Croci, L'equipaggio del Rasoio, and Le Vipere Elettriche. One day, when Marquita and Lidia were riding their bicycles to patrol, they were ambushed by twelve members of Le Croci, who was the most violent youth gang in Rome. The reasons for this attack were revenge and a rumor that the two girls were getting paid. The beating was so brutal that Marquita was left with facial scars and a cracked skull and Lidia died shortly after. This incident caused Marquita to have an immense dislike of teenagers whom she viewed as “corrupted”. When the PNP heard about the assault, they created a program to combat youth violence. One of them, Fiammetta Berardi, visited Marquita frequently and helped her recover from her injuries. The older woman recruited her to be a member of the Amazons, an all-woman neighborhood watch organization. Marquita was able to fetch off many teen criminals and brought them to the police department. This caused many PNP party members to have a keen interest in her, allowing her to appear in many campaign events and speak on youth crime reform. This led to the early form of Codice dell'Adolescenza, a system of how to manage and curb violent adolescent behavior. Shortly after the elections, Cezar Rosario’s wife, Lillemore, was assassinated by a supporter of the Sovereign Defiance Coalition. Marquita was hired to help track down the assassin and SDC members as a part of Operation Wrath of Mars Sol. She successfully tracked them down in hidden locations, some hundreds of miles away. To the surprise of Mason Gleeson, who was a counterintelligence officer, Marquita has shown unorthodox skills when it comes to interrogation, showing a “motherly” and “heartwarming” tone to give the suspect guilt, breaking their will, and a false sense of security. This allows the officers to gain more information, helping to lead to the end of the Rosario Crisis. When the Rank Creation Laws became active, Marquita was fifteen years old. Due to her teaching abilities and prior will-breaking skills, she was assigned to be the Headmistress of a Camp, which is a place where children and teenagers from Orange and Red families are taken to, known as Gioventù in Difficoltà. Marquita was very hesitant to do it since it was full of teenagers but she was encouraged by Fiammetta to follow the Codice dell'Adolescenza. At first, the teenagers refused to give her any respect, even getting physical with her. The young woman decided to get a cattle prod and called in a group of young women, whom she referred to as “Nieces”. She used a “firm hand” and a new version of the Codice dell'Adolescenza, which is split into five versions now. As the Headmistress, Marquita used her sugary-sweet personality to create a system of distrust when gang members turn against each other for extra food and rewards. Then, she used brutal and public punishments to break the offender’s will while scaring the other teenagers. It became successful when the teenagers started to stop resisting conditioning and accept the early Sol Fertilis ideology. Gioventù in Difficoltà has become known to have a zero percent escape and fatality rate, causing other camps to adopt her methods. When World War III broke out, Marquita was still the headmistress of the camp until the teenagers were “calmed” enough for her to give the job to someone else. She became a Matron for the Sol Fertilis Army, which is the head of nursing. While dealing with soldiers’ injuries, she also helped civilians as well. In the later parts of the war, she is the one to help young refugees, child soldiers, and trafficked children out of the war and into recovery. Once the war is over, Marquita meets a young man named Mesochris Bazzi, a Gamma Plus whose father works in a sweets shop that specializes in marzipan. The pair started a relationship and got married months later. Because of her talents, recognition, and conditioning skills, Marquita is appointed as Great-Grandma, the highest title for a female Delta Plus available. She worked with several Ministries and their Departments, such as Academia, Counterintelligence, Droughers, Marriage & Family, Information, Youth, Leisure, Justice, Foreign Affairs, Industry, and Interior. Her fearsome reputation has reached worldwide with some teenagers being afraid of what she could do while others want to see what would happen if they provoked her enough.

Sol Fertilis History: Rise of Youth Crime

The Great Economic Collapse and Falling Birth Rate <- The Rise of Youth Crime -> The First Parliamentary Elections

Due to dysfunction caused by the Great Economic Collapse, there is a sharp increase in youth crime and violence. Parents have to spend more attention on finding work or food, which led to the lack of supervision of children and teenagers. Their communities are on the verge or below the poverty, leading to fewer educational opportunities. Substance increase among teenagers ages fourteen to seventeen.

Assault, battery, robbery, vandalism, and sexual assault increase by a near tenfold with homicides trailing along. Teenagers even started to form gangs. This led to a massive social cohesion, where people heavily distrust each other, especially teenagers. Schools were unable to create a safe environment for their students, causing them to either skip or drop out, causing an increase in poor education. Businesses, especially Mom & Pop shops, were repeatedly vandalized and had to shut down. This further added damage to the already dwindling economy. The justice system and police were overloaded with cases of juvenile offenders.

As a result of the escalating crimes, there were many victims. One of the victims of these violent crimes was Marquita Sapienti. Marquita Sapienti was, at the time, a twelve-year-old junior safety patrol who was robbed and beaten by a youth gang called Le Croci along with her friend, Lidia Pavia, when riding their bicycles to school. This was caused by a rumor that they were getting paid, which is false since being a junior safety patrol is completely volunteer based. This is also revenge for the pair fighting them off for harassing the kindergarten children they were guiding. Lidia died of her injuries and Marquita’s face was permanently scarred.

After the news of this attack broke out, many people were outraged. Many activists and organizations started to form campaigns to combat youth crime. Two of them are called Lotta alla Criminalità Giovanile and Detén la Naranja. The former was founded by one of the Founding Mothers, Fiammetta Berardi. Fiammetta came to Marquita’s hospital room and comforted her for the loss of her friend. Afterward, she offered to join the PNP’s “Lotta alla criminalità giovanile” campaign, which aims to give a “firm hand” to youth crime. Marquita accepted it and went on to join the campaign.

Detén la Naranja was created by Athaulf Yale and Reynaldo Jiménez to create preventive measures against it. They would create Children’s Palaces, which are extracurricular activity areas in community centers. They also created two youth organizations. The first is the Mediterranea Youth League, or MYL, which is for children between the ages of eleven and seventeen. The second is the Young Pioneers of Mediterranea, or YPM, which is for children between the ages of four and ten. This managed to decrease youth crime in local areas.

Sol Fertilis History: The Assassination of Lillemore and The Rosario Crisis

The First Parliamentary Elections <- The Assassination of Lillemore and The Rosario Crisis -> Rack Creation

The PNP had won the Parliamentary Election with a coalition. Weeks leading up to the Inauguration, the SDC tried to claim that the government was illegitimate and that the PNP, RRM, and IMU should not have their seats. However, they were ignored and escorted out of the parliament building. As the PNP prepared to have their seat, many SDC supporters tried to stop them but were backed off by security. Unfortunately, a man named Clive Whitaker managed to slip in undetected.

The parties’ leaders, Cezar Rosario for the PNP, Channing Farnham for the RRM, and Óscar Olguín for the IMU, formally signed their coalition and got congratulations from their members and families. Cezar Rosario was kissing Lillemore, his wife, as their four children were there. Whitaker saw that he was vulnerable and took this as an opportunity to bring out his revolver to shoot Cezar. He fired six shots. Lillemore immediately tried to cover her husband and got shot twice. Cezar was given two non-lethal shots in his left arm. Their first child and son, Silvério, also got hit with a non-lethal shot in the chest.

Whitaker believed that if he killed Cezar, the PNP would lose power and the SDC can reclaim all of the seats and take down the parliament. However, Whitaker was not experienced with a revolver and unwittingly shot his target’s wife and child. He fought off security and quickly went home to get his wife, Lauryn, and their three children before driving to an SDC supporter’s house to hide from the police.

The aftermath of the assassination was immediate. The police started to look for the assassin as security surrounded the Parliamentary building. The ambulance attempted to resuscitate but it was too late. She died of massive blood loss due to the bullet hitting a major artery. Her body was carried away while Rosario was taken to the hospital due to his injuries and shock. Athaulf Yale had to become the substitute leader of the PNP until Cezar recovered and grieved with his children. Meanwhile, Mason Gleeson went to a police station and gathered up a task force to track down the assassination. Knowing that the quote is the same as the SDC slogan and having access to the parliament’s surveillance, Gleeson created Operation: Irae Ultionisl.

Once the news of the assassination broke, some members of the SDC condoned the attack, saying that killing Lillemore was a justified use of lethal force and a perfect resistance against an oppressive government. This led to massive outrage towards the SDC and its supporters. Many have become more in favor of the PNP and cut off anyone who is connected to SDC. Saner SDC members condemned the assassination and other members, knowing this would be a PR disaster.

Gleeson had invited several people to this task force. For Alphas, he got Bronislav Milovan from the local jailhouse, Isaac Clements for his military background, Bolívar Valero in regards to his knowledge of the area and the terrain, and Madailéin Donoghue as she was a hunter and has skills in camouflage. For Deltas, he had gotten Marquita Sapienti for her tracking skills, Lavrentios Kokkinos for his knowledge of digital tracking using cellphones and bypassing VPNs, and Rafinha Torres for his sniper background. Gleeson also got many others to track down other SDC members for questioning.

The members tracked down each possible building for Whitaker but he escaped before they got there. However, they did manage to break down several safe houses for criminals involving the SDC. These include those who have an arrest warrant and refused to turn up to court. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Cezar has been getting updates from Yale in regard to the government and Gleeson about the manhunt. He was getting frustrated with the seeming lack of progress.

Later, after two weeks, Cezar arrived at the police station, demanding to be involved to hunt down the assassin. Athaulf advised against it, saying that Cezar is emotionally unwell. However, Mason allowed him to join, stating it is best for him to deal with Whitaker himself. Cezar’s involvement has led to the Rosário Crisis.

The Rosário Crisis was a bloody conflict as Cezar authorized lethal force towards anyone who is connected to the SDC. As the investigation continues, the task force found that a few of the SDC members were connected to several criminal organizations. They were connected to drug trafficking, arms trafficking, smuggling, dark online markets, and one human trafficking ring. Many of these victims were Omegas as a fringe group with SDC believed they could be used to resolve the Infertility Crisis. All of them have been rescued.

After a month of searching, the task force managed to locate Whitaker in an encampment. It was surrounded by barricades and fencing. Bronislav called in backup in case there will be a shootout as they move forward. When Clive was in a room with his family, the task force was quietly entering the encampment. However, someone else noticed them and start shooting. Clive quickly hid his family and joined the shootout. The task force gained an upper hand when backup arrived and disarmed the militants. Cilve’s family was removed from the encampment as well. More support arrived, including Cezar. Whitaker’s children got removed by protective services, only to realize that their births were unregistered, causing further disruption to their lives.

Cezar got to see Clive and Lauryn in handcuffs and kneeling on the ground. He looked at Clive, asking why he killed Lillemore, causing children to be motherless and a man to be a widower. The older man stated that Clive believed in a cause that held no benefit and would only lead to destruction. The assassin responded by doubling down and stating that Cezar has no high ground because Lillemore died because of his beliefs, refusing to take responsibility. In response, Cezar shot and killed Lauryn in front of Clive, stated that they are both equal now. The official report of Lauryn’s death said she died of crossfire, removing that she was unarmed, was handcuffed, and shot by Cezar.

The Rosário Crisis ended with eighty-two deaths, with sixty-eight of them SDC members and supporters, ten task force members, and four civilians. Clive is appreciated and charged with one count of homicide, two counts of attempted homicide, evading capture, and terrorism. Lauryn’s body was cremated and given to her family, who apologized for her involvement. His children are put in a ward as they are getting the necessary documents before being sent to Lauryn’s family. This is the case because there was no birth certificate and there is no document saying that Clive is the father, meaning that his family could not have any custody.

Cezar returned to his seat less than a week later and the task force members are “promoted” in their related fields.
