I have returned bearing Hades AU McHanzo and would like to know whether this makes sense to y’all who have not played Hades ;-;
---
“Who’s got the hot hand?” Jesse blew the infernal smoke from Peacekeeper’s barrel as the last wretch exploded with a loud squishing sound. After several false starts, McCree had finally made it through most of the rooms of Tartarus with barely a scratch. And while it was the beginning of what would likely be a long journey out of hell, it was still the first step of many, and he had made it as far as he’d ever been.
Jesse reloaded Peacekeeper with a flick of his hand as the stone doors slid open in front of him.
“Alright, who wants to die next?” he drawled. He had not expected a reply. It was the first of many mistakes he would make on this run.
“Hmph.”
While the reply was no less mono-syllabic than the grunts made by the wretches he had just encountered in the previous rooms, yet somehow it was so much more expressive.
A single creature stood before him in a room supported by several large pillars, and lined with spike traps. He wore what looked like an ornate red mask that featured sharp teeth and glowing yellow eyes. A single, blood red wing its full expanse as he flexed his muscular shoulders backwards. He grasped an ornate bow in one hand, and the muscles of his arm flexed noticeably as he tested his own grasp. Jesse swallowed hard.
Oh no. Not him.
“What? No obnoxious coquettery?”
“Just surprised, that’s all.” Jesse wasn’t sure whether he was more offended by Hanzo’s words or his sudden appearance. “It’s been awhile, Han.”
“Some of us have serious work to do,” Hanzo replied wryly.
“Is that what brings you here?” McCree asked with some annoyance. “Work?”
“One of my many tasks is to keep unruly shades from leaving Tartarus, yes.”
“Ain’t a shade,” Jesse corrected him. “And if I recall, you used to find my unruliness fun.”
“I used to put up with many things,” Hanzo shrugged. “And it was a novelty.”
“You’ve been avoidin’ me for how many mortal lifetimes, and now I’m a novelty?” Jesse frowned, as something in the yokai’s tone struck a chord deep in his chest.
Hanzo shifted uncomfortably. “It has not been so long.”
“But the avoidin’ part, that was accurate?”
“Enough!” Hanzo barked, gesturing with his bow. He drew an arrow with his other hand. “It is Lord Gabriel’s will that this ends now.”
Jesse chuckled ruefully to himself and shook his head. “I don’t wanna fight you, Hanzo.”
“Then this will be over even more quickly than I imagined,” Hanzo retorted, lifting his loaded bow.
“Have it your way,” Jesse shrugged. Peacekeeper’s shots rang out before he had even before speaking. Still, it was not fast enough. Hanzo dashed to easily avoid the shots, and fired a volley of his own.
“Goddammit,” Jesse muttered, ducking behind a stone pillar. This was not how he had hoped this reunion would go.
“Marked,” Hanzo whispered from across the room.
Jesse knew what that meant too well. Reloading with another flick of his wrist, McCree pressed against the pillar more fully, hoping that the stone fully hid his figure. The sound of an arrow too close to his left ear made him roll instinctively to the right. Somehow, Hanzo was already there, two feet in front of him, bow drawn, likely smirking behind that goddamn mask.
“Hello.”
“Fuc--”

I'm a sucker for fluff, but a hoarder of hurt/comfort ;3 Could you potentially write a one-off of Mchanzo hurt/comfort, if you're willing? Thanks!
A/N: So I was going to write something completely different but then stuff happened. I did basically what Gabrielle does but I didn’t hit anything. My mom’s car did have to towed from the driveway though. I hope you like this. Sorry if it isn’t, I’m not feeling up to writing right now.
Irreplaceable
It didn’t take long after Hanzo and Jesse got married to agree that they wanted a family. Nothing big—2 or 3 kids since they were Overwatch agents and they would be on a mission more often than not.
They talked to Ana for advice before making a final decision—Jesse also asked Torbjörn for advice about how to handle multiple children at once.
Soon Jesse and Hanzo found themselves adopting a baby straight from birth since the mother wasn’t financially stable to raise a child. It was a small girl that they later named Gabrielle Ana Shimada-McCree.
She was an energetic child, almost always on the run. She was a handful for her whole family and never ceased to surprise them. Whether it be summoning her own dragon at the age of six or telling off her Uncle Genji for doing something dangerously stupid on a mission.
Her younger brothers even more so. The oldest boy, Jack, had an eye for mischief and loved to spike the Christmas punch bowl or eggnog with some kind of horrible drink (one year he put apple cider vinegar in the eggnog). His younger brother, Gerard, almost completely took after Hanzo. He was poised and serious, almost never showing weakness.
Before the couple knew it, their children were grown and had their own opinions and problems.
Gabrielle was learning how to drive. Jesse was teaching her, and although she was doing great she still had a long way to go.
After dropping Jack off for some early morning soccer practice at his school, Jesse made a beeline for the mall parking lot which was usually empty that early in the morning. Gabrielle sat nervously in the driver’s seat as she took the emergency brake off. She put it into drive and let her foot off the brake, putting onto the gas.
“You’re doing great, sweetheart.” Jesse told her. “Don’t forget to stop at the sign. And check for any c–”
“Pa!” She whined. “I know. I got this.”
Jesse chuckled and ran a hand through his mostly grey hair. “I’m just makin’ sure.”
Gabrielle drove smoothly, almost running into the curb a few times but she did better than Fareeha her first time driving. They were almost to the parking lot when things went south.
“I want you to put on your blinker and go right.” Jesse pointed. Gabrielle did as instructed but instead of pulling into the parking lot she ran over the curb. “Gabrielle!” Jesse grabbed the steering wheel and jerked it towards him. But it was too late.
The car went straight into a large tree. The windshield cracked slightly and the front of the car was wrecked. Gabrielle sat shaking in her seat, tears brimming in her eyes as she realized what just happened.
Jesse grabbed her shoulder and made her face him. “Sweetheart, are you alright? Please tell you’re alright.”
She nodded and swallowed the lump in her throat. She let go of the wheel and her brought her shaking hands to her chest. “Daddy?”
Jesse’s heart broke. She never called him that unless she was truly terrified.
“I’m here. Come on. Let’s get out of the car and call your father.”
Hanzo was meditating with Gerard when the phone rang. He growled slightly.
Gerard got up and picked up the phone. “Hello?” He stiffened when his dad’s voice came from the other end. “Okay, papa.” Gerard walked over and handed the phone to Hanzo, who had been watching his son.
“Jesse?” Hanzo asked. “What’s wrong?” His face paled as Jesse told him what happened. “I’m on my way.” He stood up and walked over to put the phone away. “Gerard, I’m going to call your Uncle to stay with you. Your sister and father need me right now.”
Hanzo got to the parking lot hysteric. He was embraced by Jesse who seemed more calm than expected. Although that could’ve just been the shock.
“Is she alright? Is Gabrielle–” Hanzo caught sight of her sitting on the curb away from the wreckage. He grabbed Jesse’s hand and rushed over to her. Gabrielle stood up and gave her fathers a sad look. Her eyes were red and puffy, tears dried on her cheeks were replaced with new ones.
“I’m so sorry about the car, father. I didn’t mean to. It was an accident I swear. I’m so, so sorry abo–”
She was cut off by Hanzo pulling her shaking body into a hug. She cried into his cardigan as she let out all of her fear. He ran a hand through her blonde hair and pressed a gentle kiss to the side of her head.
“We don’t care about the car,” Jesse told her. He pulled her into a hug, needing to comfort his little girl.
“He’s right.” Hanzo added. “The car can be fixed and replaced. You can’t.”
Jesse opened his arms and Hanzo joined the hug as Gabrielle let out a small sob. It might take a while but they would all move past it.
Hanzo was going to make sure Gabrielle got her license and that this incident didn’t hinder her from driving. He wasn’t going to let her live in fear of driving.

H a n z o
The pain has him squirming through the night and his nails scratching the spot until he gets some relief, enough to fall back asleep, but the feeling returns. He hisses and moans against his pillow, muffling the sound to anyone passing by, especially Genji. If his younger brother passes by his room and hears him, who knows what fables he will come up with at breakfast. His knuckles turn pale as his grip tightens on the sheets underneath him. He should get up and see the source of said pain, but once his hands brush the lower spot of his back and finds no lump or scar, nor anything that stands out to his touch, he leaves it unknown until morning.
A line of Japanese curse bounces off the walls in his room when the sun rises. His teeth clench and his fist almost rips his shirt apart as his back faces the mirror. He turns to look over his shoulder once again and wishes for the image to be a dream, but it's real.
There is a familiar presence in his surroundings in a second and he thinks it over, until he realizes he needs someone to confide in. “Genji!” He calls out and the door opens at his command.
A younger boy with green, spiked up hair appears, hands raised in surrender.
“I haven’t done anything,” Genji says, but still comes in and closes the door behind him.
Hanzo looks away from him, but doesn’t face the mirror either. His head drops in defeat and lets the scene speak for itself: the mirror catching the reflection of his back, while his shirt is raised and a new addition to his body sets on his lower back.
“Holy shit!” Genji laughs as he steps behind Hanzo to have a better look. He crouches down and his hands hold Hanzo still in case the older Shimada regrets it and runs away.
Hanzo’s lower back has turned into the canvas of a new painting, a hilarious and trashy flaming skull with two guns on each side. The words ‘El Patrón’ (The Boss) are written in a tacky font under it and Genji tries to read it and understand, but gives up when his laughter wins.
“Oh, boy, Hanzo,” he keeps laughing as he straightens his body and falls on Hanzo’s bed to continue the fit.
Hanzo huffs and lowers his shirt before crossing his arms. “You don’t think someone actually got this permanently on their skin, right?” It had to be a temporary drawing, who would do such a thing to their body?
“Looks like it,” Genji shrugs. “Whoever it is, they’re your mate for life.” Genji laughs again and Hanzo’s brow twitches in annoyance, at Genji and at his stupid soulmate for being such a fool. It had gone years without communicating with them. They use to doodle animals and write things like ‘hello’ to each other, but saw no point to it as he grew older, making their interactions stop. But now he realizes, maybe he should have continued. He would have said anything to prevent this from happening.
Hanzo examines his brother’s collar bones peaking through his tank top, at the birds drawn over them and the feathers falling down his arms. At first, he found this whole soulmate thing immature, and now that he sees the delicate, simple drawings his brother gets almost everyday against his ugly tattoo, he cherishes what he never had.
“What would father say?” Hanzo mumbles to himself.
“Oh, he will hunt them down. Who dares mark his precious heir and favorite son?” Genji says it nonchalantly, but there’s a hint of wonder in his eyes before it disappears in a blink.
Hanzo hums to his words, wonders how Genji believes he is the favorite when the younger one is allowed so much while he spends his days in the palace, under his father or the elders’ watch.
“Look at it this way,” Genji brings him back to their conversation. “You’re closer to finding them.”
“As if i would want someone like this in my life.”
Genji curls his lips, “so your plan is to simply ignore the person? What happens if you do meet and don’t know it is them?” Slowly, Genji’s face turns wicked, “or are you planning on bedding them on the first meet? I didn’t know you had it in you, brother.”
Hanzo scoffs to Genji’s last remark, “I think someone with a marking this loud will be easy to spot in a crowd.”
“And heard in the bedroom,” Genji snickers. “But i see your point.” He gets off the bed. “You’re lucky it’s your day off, we should drown this morning in some sake.”
“Father would take away all my days off if he caught you drunk under my watch while we’re out.” He’s aware of Genji’s shenanigans, and he allows some of them, but drinking outside of the house is a big ‘no’. He prefers he does it in the palace, with alcohol he provides himself. “Besides, I am the one that needs to forget. Your soulmate at least has some taste,” Hanzo crosses his arms and half of his mouth quirks up. “You should learn from them.”
Genji crosses his arms as well to mock his older brother, “they are my soulmate after all, so I must have good taste.”
Hanzo’s half smile turns into a whole one. “Well said.”

This Little Light of Mine
Chapter 11 It is time It was 3am when Lena woke up. Her whole body felt like she just ran a marathon with out stopping. It was like the dream could have really killed her. Lena also remembered the words the shadow Genji said. Her heart hurts, it was like a reflection of her Genji. He wanted her to die to as a disease that plagued Overwatch. Lena felt trapped and she didn't know what to think. She needed to leave the Medical bay, she needed to leave. The room was quite, so that meant that Mercy and Winston were probably asleep at the work tables. To make sure they were Lena fazed threw the door to check. The room lights were still on, to the left of the room was Mercy sound asleep at her desk. To the right was Winston who was surprisingly still up, but he looked like he was about to pass out. She knew Winston was almost done with his thing which was called a chronal accelerator. Lena decided to faze threw Mercy's office to the hallway to leave the two alone. The hallways were quiet like normal, no one walked the halls this early. Lena walked down the hallway to the Overwatch's garden while thinking of what happened in her nightmare. "I never liked you, it was all your fault." Flowed threw her mind and the pain she felt. " This was all your fault." Cold tears fell from her eyes when see was remembering everything. She started to run down the hallways towards the garden. "You are the biggest mistake Overwatch ever made and to think a piece of shit like you liked me. It makes me want to die just thinking about it." Lena tried to quite herself as she ran, but she sobbed couldn't be stopped. She needed to stay strong and laugh at the face of danger, but the words in the dream broke her heart. Genji's Room The ninja's room was still dark, not a sound could be heard. But the cyborg was very much  awake. He was in a daze about what just happened. The laughter plagued his mind. " You should have seen her face." He needed a walk, he needed to leave his room. When he got up he heard something to him it sounded like crying. He opened his door, he looked to the ends of the hall to see a figure moving away. Genji didn't like to get in everyone's business, but something told him to follow. He silently sprinted across the halls after the figure. This person lead him right to the Overwatch garden. Genji got a better look at the person, in an instant he knew it was Lena. Her brown spiked hair gave it away. As Genji got closer he heard her sniffle. She was holding back tears. Genji stepped slowly up to her, but stepped on a twig. Lena instantly turned to face the cyborg, her eyes were red and filled with tears. She was slowly backing away from him. " Lena, I am not my shadow." When he said this Lena froze. Her face could brake anyone's heart. Oh how he wished he was in the dream so ghe could hold her. "Sorry, love just can't deal with all this running around. It is putting a chain on me." She said with a fake smile, but Genji knew she was faking it all. "I just can't deal with everyone these nightmares no more love." He knew how she felt. Genji needed to change the subject. "Lena remember the time you gave Reinhard a ghost pepper and he had to drink all the milk in the base. Or the time you and Mccree were saying tortilla wrong in front of Gabe remember how made he got." Lena started to giggle about those times "thanks Genji, for making me feel better". Their time was cut short when a certain gorilla bursted threw the garden doors. " It work, the chronal accelerator works. We can bring you back!" Yelled the Winston. Winston was waving his hands in both agents faces. "Hurry now!" He yelled as he sprinted out of the garden. The two looked at each other an followed the scientist. Lena could feel her face heat up while they were running, for some reason she always loved to run. She was checking up to Winston. (Winston why did you ruin the moment) They literally almost broke Mercy's door when they came in. It made Mercy jump, she looked very worn out. Winston ran over to his desk to get the chronal accelerator. It was white with a neon blue core which was not turned on. It hade a tone of straps. Winston held it up to the middle of Lena's chest as soon as it got close, the middle of the chest piece started to shine. Lena wasn't fading, she was all there. " Hold on to chronal accelerator for a sec." Winston said as he started to strap her in. After about 2 minutes of strapping everything in Winston looked up at Lena. " Lena try to touch my hand" Winston out stretched his hand to Lena, she slowed brought hers. Everyone held their breath as Lena's hand hovered over Winston's hand. She slowly brought it down until her hand was in the gorilla's hand. She felt his hand, she tried to faze threw it, but she couldn't. The room went silent then went straight in screams of joy. Lena ran straight in to Winston and hugged him, but when she did she blocked and smacked in to Winston. It was a big shocked but for some reasons but next thing she was in Winston's arms to be back where she was before. Lena's eyes sparkled as she blinked around the room the recall back to where she was. Winston and Mercy were purely shocked as the watch Lena. The only thing you could see was a blue trace go by. Lena was all ready getting use to her new power. She grabbed Mercy, Winston, and Genji by the arms for a group huge. " Thank you guys for everything!" As tears came down her face. She grabbed Genji's hand and ran out the door before anyone could protest. Lena wanted to go see the rest of her family. ______________________________ Hello everyone, I just want to say OMG 1.2K read this story. Thank you guys I am literally still shocked.
