i can't STANDDDD the abyss sibling. in my case, it's lumine. anyway i can't stand her. imagine your sibling chasing after you, pushing themselves to their limits JUST to find you--to find answers about you because they love and miss you more than anyone else--and when you finally decide you will see them again, what the fuck do you say? NOTHING OF VALUE?????? and you just go on your way, acting like you don't give a fuck????? when that's literally your only family, you walk away without reassuring that you do care for them and it's just that you have your hands tied or... fucking SOME explanation for why you won't talk??????? the abyss twin does not care about the other at all i swear. like imagine making your allegedly "beloved" sibling stretch themselves so impossibly thin just to find you instead of using your words and, idk, talking to them???? i would just stop looking for them at that point fuck that. anyway this is just a pet peeve about the genshin storyline. it's so annoying.

Today I finally did Lyney's quest and I gotta say... In that moment when Charlotte was insisting on interviewing Lyney and Linette, and Traveler thought to themselves that they had to do something to distract Charlotte, my brain said: "Quick traveler! Kiss Lyney that would definitely surprise Charlotte and make her leave out of embarrassment"

And now imagine if Lumine did that, imagine the scandal it would up roar all over Teyvat. Everyone would be gossiping around about how Lumine is dating Lyney.

Are one of the twins going to die?

So has anyone else noticed how each of the archons (with the exception of Zhongli) has some sort of twin/doppelganger/look alike/split half that's more experienced and assured of themselves? And that person is dead? For Venti, it was the nameless bard whose appearance he based his vessel on who rallied the people of Old Mondstadt against Decarabian. For Ei, it was her twin sister Makoto who was the wiser of the two when it came to ruling Inazuma to the point of making a contingency plan for saving it in the future after her death. For Nahida, it was Rukkhadevata, her creator and past incarnation who was the beloved Dendro Archon who had put a plan in motion to save Sumeru from Forbidden Knowledge. For Furina, it was her divine half Focalors who had concocted a plan to deceive the gods and save Fontaine. For Makoto, Rukkhadevata, and Focalors, all of them had plans that factored in their successors' (human half in Focalors' case) actions, their own demises, and took 500 years for them to be complete. Their successors were also trapped in certain ways. Ei trapped herself by choosing to close herself in the Plane of Euthymia. Nahida was trapped in the Sanctuary of Surasthana by the Sages.

Furina was trapped by the role she was given by Focalors. The Traveler's Sibling spent 500 years traveling Teyvat and learning the truth of the world, while the Traveler spent those years asleep and trapped in nightmares. Does anyone else think this is all foreshadowing that the Traveler's Sibling is going to die, possibly by sacrificing themself?

Kinda loving the differences between the Trailblazer and the Traveler. Everyone's spoken to heck and back about their personalities but I'm going to chock that up the Travelers/ Twins being actual stars and nobility, and either Trailblazer being some kind of artificial human meant to hold some kind of world devastating power and was programmed with memes. What *I* like is that the Traveler has these big open eyes! Bright Eyed, Energetic, Kind Meanwhile the Trailblazer looks kind of sleepy. Like they are always perpetually woken up from a nap. Stelle looks like this more than Caelus because her eyes are bigger, but neither of them look like they have recovered from the trauma of waking up

genshin impact au where the traveller doesn't meet paimon, being in teyvat alone and the only company that they have is themselves

everything happens about five to ten years later, the start of the first chapter still depends on the traveller

they land in a world that they have no knowledge of, they don't know the language, they don't know whether people live here, if there are any towns or cities nearby, all they know is that they are alone and that they are separated from their family

so, they explore the forest (they could either land in wolvendom, dadau gorge, minlin, apam woods or tsurumi island, it depends on where you choose) and they learn to survive on their own

they adapt to their surroundings and improve their survival skills using the resources available, their sword, backpack etc, whatever they were dropped into teyvat with, they use their sword as a multitool, to protect themselves, to hunt, to gather the material the forests offer them, they learn to track

they build a hut from wood, something to shelter themselves from the weather, they fish from the rivers, they hunt the fauna, they feed off the fruit, they clean themselves in the waterfalls

their bodies full out, gaining muscles the longer they stay in the forest, their skin becomes tanned and freckled from the sun, and their hair grows long and scruffy as they get fed up with cutting and brushing their hair, their clothes are ripped and dirty, their skin is scarred from the trees, from the bushes

they lose their voice over time, communicating in grunts and growls, becoming almost feral-like the longer they stay alone

when they do meet other people (whether you want it to be paimon and have paimon deal with the feral traveller and introduce them to mondstadt, liyue harbour or sumeru city wherever, or another character of your choice), the people don't know what to make of them, they're grateful for their help and wish to try and figure out what the traveller wants, but they can't help be put off by the feral traveller- they try to reintroduce them to civilization, to try and teach them the language of teyvat and it works! sort of, they still prefer to stay silent, but they understand the language so you can have a one-sided conversation with them

the longer they know the traveller, they just, learn to accept them as they are and grow to adore their feral traveller like they do in canon, and they help them with their search for their sibling
