Just got this confirmed today...Not my actual cervical spine X-ray, (had one last week), but over a year of somatosensory tinnitus (ear ringing) symptoms not related to auditory inner ear issues, circulatory, or medication related issues, rather it is this: Cervical spondylosis is a condition that causes deterioration of the vertebrae, discs, and ligaments in the neck or cervical spine. Other names are arthritis of the neck, cervical osteoarthritis, or degenerative osteoarthritis. Celebrities living with arthritis
Tumblr media
Arthritis affects millions of people around the world. Almost 350 million people around the world suffers from arthritis and over 250,000 are children. In the U.S a report says that over 40 million Americans suffer arthritis. It is also one of the causes of disability and immobility among people over the age of 55. Arthritis may start at a young age and may develop as go older. Physical therapy and the right foods can help people suffering from arthritis to keep their lives active. Anyone can suffer arthritis. In fact, a lot of Hollywood celebrities are no exception and they have been living with arthritis behind the cameras. We watch most of them on the television, cinema or hear them on the radio.
So how do you treat arthritis? We live now where technology is so advanced. There are a lot of ways to treat arthritis. You can ask your doctor about medications or therapies that you can go through but you can always try the natural and alternative ways. You can also try changing your lifestyle by keeping your body active, fit and by eating anti-inflammatory and joint pain foods.
Here are some celebrities living with arthritis pain behind the cameras.
• Tiger Woods – He is the most famous celebrity suffering from arthritis. Can you believe it? Even a famous golf superstar! He developed arthritis his ACL surgery on his knee.
• Shaquille O’Neal – Shaq is a famous basketball superstar (my dad loves him sooooo much!) who suffers from osteoarthritis.
• Kobe Bryant – Another basketball superstar (I really can’t believe this!) suffers from arthritis. He has a severe arthritis in his right index finger.
• Caitlyn Jenner – If you know the Kardashians, then you her! Caitlyn Jenner also known as “Bruce Jenner” has been living with osteoarthritis for 20 years!
• Nolan Ryan – He’s one of the greatest baseball players I know (because of dad) and you know what? Being a baseball superstar did not excuse him from arthritis. He has arthritis in his knees. Talk about pain when he’s trying for a home run.
• Hank Aron – One of the greatest baseball players also, he was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in his knees after retiring from baseball

My story.
So to start off this new blog, I would like to tell you guys my story. When I was 2 and a half, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, so I've grown up with it my whole life. I'm accustomed to living with it and the comments that get thrown around because of it. Sometimes, I feel like a normal teenager, but other times, I feel like a 60 year old that can't get out of bed. I have other medical problems due to my awful immune system, but they are mostly controlled by medications and don't give me too many problems. I know there are so many difficulties living with an autoimmune deficiency, but there's a whole community of people to help, and I hope this blog will help other teens understand, you are not alone.
