Maria sighs and takes her phone back from me, walking to the door. “Yeah, you’re right. I won’t press.” She glances at the time. “I have an appointment, now. Ryker says one of the pipes in his room is leaking.”

I wave at her. “Good luck with him.” As she walks away, I glance under the bed. She normally keeps a stash of food under here, and I’m desperate for a Kit-Kat all of a sudden. “Hey! Maria! Can I take a Kit-Kat?”

She doesn’t respond, and I figure she’s too far away by now. I shrug and take one anyways. She won’t mind.

It’s actually just three days later when it gets important. Captain Shah calls everyone to the main deck for an announcement. I don’t bother taking off the lab coat this time, but I do take off my glasses before meeting Holly and Jaime in the hall outside the lab.

“What do you think it’s about?” Jaime asks. Holly frowns at his hair and fixes his part for him.

“Who knows? Maybe we’re finally getting a Michelin star chef,” I joke, hopefully covering my nerves. Despite what I told Maria, the email has been on my mind and worrying me since I saw it. I have almost no doubts that that’s what this meeting is about.

Biography of Liu Hong, Part 1

Liu Hong, courtesy name Heji, was a native of Xiang in Pei stat. His grandfather Fu [SGZ15] was Wei's Inspector of Yang province. His father Jing was General who Garrisons the North. Hong had capacity for planning and talents in government affairs. As young he lived in Luoyang. He and Emperor Wu both lived in the Yong'an Ward, were of the same age, and scrubbed the mat together.

Due to past kindness he rose from home as Gate Grandee to the Heir-Apparent, amassed to move to Prefect Leading the Night-watch, and shifted to Senior Clerk to the Grand Steward. Zhang Hua [JS036] considerably esteemed him. Owing to that he became General who Soothes the Boreal, Acting with the Tally, Overseer of All Army Affairs of You Province, acting as Colonel of the Wuhuan. He to great extent had power and kindness, bandits and robbers removed their tracks, and he was praised by You and Shuo. In the middle of Tai'an [302 – 303], Zhang Chang [JS100] made chaos. He arrived from Fangcheng at Wan and Xinye. Wherever he turned [?] everything was pacified. When the King of Xinye, Xin, was defeated, used Hong to replace him as General who Garrisons the South, Commander-in-Chief of All Army Affairs of Jing province, his remaining offices like before.

Hong dispatched the Senior Clerk of the Southern Man, Tao Kan [JS066] to be Great Chief Protector, the Army Advisor Kuai Heng to be Righteous Army Controller-Protector, the Commander of the Serrated Gates Pi Chu to be Chief Battle Leader, and advanced to occupy Xiangyang.

Zhang Chang combined his armies to besiege Wan, and defeated Zhao Xiang's army. Hong withdrew to garrison Liang. Kan, Chu and others routed Chang in cumulative battles, from beginning to end the beheaded heads tallied several ten thousand. When it became public [?], Chang was afraid and ran away. His multitudes totally surrendered, the lands of Jing were pacified.

Earlier, at Hong's withdrawal, the King of Fanyang, Xiao, dispatched the Colonel of Chang River, Zhang Yi to lead Jing province. Hong arrived. Yi did not accept the replacement, and resisted Hong with troops. Hong dispatched the army to punish Yi and beheaded him. He petitioned, saying:

Your Subject due to his ordinary talents, undeservedly burdens the state's kindness, rising to direct the regions and provinces, offers explanations to punish his crimes. Not able to exert and spread thunderclaps, breaking off the charge for ten thousand li, the army withdrew to Wan, the allotted conferral evidently dishonoured.

Mediocre, unenlightened and holding back generous[?], [I] was undergoing the duties of dispatching, and had arrived to be at the headquarters. Yet the King of Fanyang, Xiao, had previously dispatched the Previous Colonel of Chang River Zhang Yi to lead Jing province. When Your Subject arrived, he did not accept the rules and measures, and on his own raised troops to resist Your Subject.

Now Zhang Chang's treacherous partisans are beginning to be pacified, but Chang is not yet exposed or captured, the drifters of Yi and Liang barren and bleak heap up and collect together, without followers of reliability to change to fan each other into action [?], sudden winds frightening the pool, then the Blue Sea's crossing waves cautiously worry about losing it. The various armies dispatched by the General overcame and wiped out the crowd of bandits. Zhang Yi coveted calamity, and resisted and disobeyed the decree's instructions. The General delivered punishment, transmitting the head to the gate-tower courtyard. Even if there is displeasure for not requesting [?], the ancients had the righteousness of arbitrarily doing it [?]. Thus in vast and wide inner recesses and boundaries [?], quell and appease the Southern Sea, thereby assisting the expectations of pushing forward the wheel-hub.

Zhang Chang ran away to Xiajun Mountain. Hong dispatched the army to punish Chang, beheaded him, and thoroughly took the surrender of his multitudes.

At the time in the divisions of Jing many of the wardens and stewards were vacant. Hong requested to fill and select them. The Emperor followed it. Hong then ranked achievements and measured virtue, thereupon the talented filled the conferrals. He was considerably extolled by those with opinion. He therefore petitioned, saying:

There was a central decree, commanding Your Subject follow competence in grading and selecting, filling the various missing magistrates. As for congratulating and rewarding punishing and power, the sole attention for a bad subject [?]. Moreover, to understand people then is wisdom. With the difficulties for the sagely emperor, the bad subject retires to concealment and is able to drink and feast [?].

As such in the ten thousand affairs there is a moment, the prominent manages with proper caution, prudently receiving the decreed letter, the chosen responding to employment [?]. Perhaps to venerate reform is not the same as valuing virtue, then the means by which to aid an garrison [?]. For that reason when high antiquity established virtue, they next established merit.

A short while ago there were many difficulties, the pure and simple were completely withered. Your Subject straight-away used the summoned scholar Wu Zhao to the vacancy of Grand Warden of Lingling, fully accordingly taking warning from the tearing down of the surging scouring [?], raising up the integrity of withdrawing and yielding.

Your Subject, though not martial, previously withdrew to Wan. The Senior Clerk, Tao Kan, the Army Advisor Kuai Heng, the Serrated Gates Pi Chu, exerted their efforts to bring about punishment, washing away and quenching the treacherous malignance. Your Subject used Chu for the vacancy of Grand Warden of Xiangyang, Kan as Acting Marshal of the Office, making [him] direct and discuss merit affairs [?], Heng as Prefect of Shandu.

A decree however ordered Your Subject to use the scattered to mend the empty and deficit. As such the Prefect of Yixiang, Yu Tan [JS076] is loyal, sincere, zealous and proper. The foremost is to commend righteous recommendations, recommending the good to accordingly teach, those who are unable to encourage. Your Subject immediately specially moved Tan to the vacancy of Prefect of Liling.

Nan commandery's upright magistrate Qiu Bo,' mother was elderly, ill and in straits. When the traitors arrived, he defended and guarded, and did not move. He was accordingly whipped and cut, almost losing his life [?].

The Foreman Clerk of the Masters of Writing Guo Zhen, Zhang Chang used him as Gentleman of the Masters of Writing, desiring to ask him accordingly about the court discussions [?]. He hid and escaped, and did not set out. Chang took hostage his wife and children, he moved away from him even further away.

Bo's filial piety and sincerity was displayed at the approaching danger, Zhen loyally encouraged at the strong and brutal [?]. Even though each only are of the Fourth Grade, both can be used to teach reward to subjects and sons [?], long profiting the manners and teachings. Your Subject straight-away used Bo as Prefect of Guixiang, Zhen as Prefect of Xinling.

All meritorious acts assessed and assisted [?], following the names and compared results, the sections arranging acts and appearance, [I] publicly write and draw up to send up [?].

Zhi was Hong's son-in-law. Hong sent down teachings saying:

As for he who governs Under Heaven, ought to be of one heart with Under Heaven. He who reforms the whole state, ought to be in confidence with the whole state. If [he] must be a personal relative to afterwards be possible to employ, then since Jing province has ten commanderies, how to obtain ten daughters's husbands to afterwards have government affairs!

He therefore petitioned:

Zhi is a personal relative by marriage. The old regulations do not allow [us] to oversee each other. The achievements of Pi Chu ought to see reward and recompense.

A decree listened to him.

[According to JS004, Liu Hong was dispatched to deal with Zhang Chang in July 302, and on 16 September 302 killed Zhang Chang in a battle at the Qing river.]

Chapter 9 of (AU Selviya being Mitsuko mother), Mitsuko belongs to @saito-mitsuko

Obviously no longer.

It had been 7 years, Since Mitsuko left with Raiden to fulfill her destiny. Selviya didn’t forget her first child and so did Kuai.

Kuai Tries to let Selviya forget and busies her with pregnancy to feel like a mother all again. It worked the day Mitsuko left he did it with Selviya and she was pregnant and gave birth to twins ones a girl and ones a boy. They named them Qiang and Liling. After that she give birth to other twins naming them wang and Liu (in honour of Liu kang), and then she gave to the fifth and final one and she is a girl Ai Liang. She still remembers what Raiden told her of Mitsuko how he was so emotional and Expressing regrets

“I’m sorry Selviya levsloky, Apparently my Actions caused you so much pain, forgive me i was only doing the elder gods asked!” Raiden Confessed, Selviya looked at him seeing that he is a capable of emotion.. she is lost in words

“I forgave you along time ago..” She sad, While looking at him in the eyes.

He gulped at her. then left with his Thunder teleportation.

*After years*

“Come here children! Its dinner time!” Selviya lovingly called her children they came hurried to her as they hugged her and kissed her. Then their father came, he laughed purely at the sight in front of him. He looks at his beloved wife, she was gently holding their infant daughter Ai Liang. she took Ai to breastfeed her. She is smiling at her husband until her Infant child bites her hard. She patiently feed her daughter taking bites here and there but she is still smiling and adoring her babygirl.

Qiang and Liling are 5 years old

Wang and Liu are 3 years old

And Ai is only months old.

“She is a beautiful like her mother.” Kuai Flirted with Selviya, She chuckles with amusement afterwards.

“She is indeed!” She responded, while breastfeeding her

“Mummy! The food is hot can we Cool it with our powers?” Wang asked excitedly, Liu nodded

“Sorry but no.. you know what happend when you last time asked that..” Selviya softly refused, reminding them of the snowballs fight while there were “cooling” their food

“Oh! That was a really cool and fun!” Liu laughed at this.

Selviya rolled her eyes, then took a breath

“How did my parents was patient with me.” She thought referring to her adoptive parents (Maria and Aran)

“Now kids! Behave and listen to your mother i will cool your food instead!” their father Said as he came closer to cool their food, Liu looks at Wang giving him the signals to start the snowballs

“Snowballs fight!” Liu and Wang suddenly shout and throws snowballs on everything on the room, on their father on their other sibling and on their mother face (Rofl)

“Stop it!!!” Selviya called, Completely ignorning their mother and continue “playing”

That was the last straw when an ice ball hit their youngest sister on the face. She calmly got up and Uses her frozen gaze on then, They both looked at their mother and Start behaving and continue eating their food. Kuai Brushed the ice ball from his face completely annoyed by his children behaviour.

“So-sorry mother…” They both apologised

“Thats it! Your Visiting Grandpa and grandma Levsloky! After the meal you will change your clothes then get ready, you clearly need some Etiquette to be taught! And hopefully Grandma levsloky would be so happy to provide ” She calmly replied. Liu and wang shriek, apparently they dislike Their grandparents Levsloky. While Liling and Qiang are happy with this.

“No! No! please mother! We will behave we will behave!” They both begged, she still breastfeeding her Babygirl.

“No buts! You promised you will not do snowballs fight in food table! You broke your promise and plus we didn’t see them in a week so!” Selviya Muttered, with her usual soft tone.

“Dad! Say something!” They Turned to their father for help, He is torn between Listening to his wife and his child pleading reaction.

“Kids.. i know its a bit harsh but.. you need to learn!” Kuai Liang Responded with a serious tone.

“Thanks for being a father of nothing!” Liu Cried, Kuai and Selviya sighs.

“Do not talk to your father like that!..” Selviya came to them after she’s done from feeding her daughter. She Puts her hands on her waist sassily.

“Thats unfair! We only wanted to have fun!” Wang argued, Selviya and Kuai Sighs again..

“Anyway i’m ready to Go! Liling and Qiang are you ready!” She softly calls to her oldest Children, they happily Came to them.

“Yes! Mother!” Both replied excited to go to their grandparnets house

“Alright then lets go..” Selviya Uttered happily, Kuai gave a peck on the lips.

“Safe trip!” Their father chuckles. As he give another Final kiss to their mother.

“Thanks Qīn. Stay safe in the clan!” She said, then she put her daughter into A kids stroller

After they arrived to their Car, a silent eye was watching them. The one who’s watching Saw them so happy as a family. She wished that she was with then. Having fun with her brothers and sisters. Its hurts that her mother “forgot” about her and move on in her life.

“I miss you mother but together will see each other soon!..” Mitsuko mumbled to herself

As she is shedding a tear. Mourning her childhood and her mother. How can life be so cruel and unfortunate.
