best cdramas I’ve watched since the last one of these posts in 2022 (and some I’m still looking forward to seeing)

Heroes (watch on WeTV VIP | watch on bilibili) Adapted from the novel "Shuo Ying Xiong Shei Shi Ying Xiong" (说英雄谁是英雄) by Wen Rui An (温瑞安) starring Zeng ShunXi, Yang ChaoYue, Liu YuNing, Baron Chen and Meng ZiYi. I would’ve watched this thing for the cast only. Everyone is queer vibes. Not a flashy drama, but will emotionally shred you. The character development is totally worth it. Throughly entertaining, even when it punched you in the gut. 8/10

The Wind Blows From LongXi (watch on iQIYI VIP | watch on Viki) Adapted from novel "The Wind Rises in Longxi" (风起陇西) by Ma Bo Yong (马伯庸) starring Chen Kun and Bai Yu. I’ve been waiting for this drama for two years and it was worth every second of the wait. The cinematography in this thing is bonkers. The use of light and shadows, the muted colors, the indoor shots opening up into well-lit courtyards, the gritty sound mixing, the whole thing just blew my ass away. Chen Kun and Bai Yu are masters of their art. Fckn masterpiece. 11/10

Who Rules The World (watch on WeTV VIP | watch on Netflix) Adapted from the novel "Qie Shi Tian Xia" (且试天下) by Qing Ling Yue (倾泠月) starring Yang Yang, Zhao LuSi, and Xuan Lu. One of the rare romance dramas that really appealed to me. A well-balanced mix of court intrigue and martial world heroics. Unlimited blorbo potential. It’s hard to outshine Yang Yang (who gives major Mei Changsu vibes through like the first third of the drama) but Zhao LuSi and Xuan Lu together? Magnificent. Breathtaking. Brilliant. 8/10

The Legend of Hao Lan (watch on iQIYI VIP | watch on Viki | watch on tubi) starring Wu Jinyan and Nie Yuan. So this was like, The Story of Yanxi Palace cast, remixed. Was it great? Not really. Did I watch every episode? Yeah. I honestly think that Wu Jinyan could just make faces for 50+ sixty minute episodes, and I’d still watch every minute of it. Still, a fascinating take on the Warring States Period, and actually based on a woman who helped her son become the King of Qin, then ultimately the First Emperor of China. I think 99% of the budget went to costumes, and tbh, it was totally worth every penny. 7/10

(yeah, after all this, I rewatched Nirvana In Fire again)

The Silent Criminal (watch on Apple TV | watch on Bilibili | watch on iQIYI VIP | watch on Viki) starring Li Jiaming and Wen Sheng. So incredibly gay. Hilarious, yes, but predominantly gay. Murder, intrigue, suspense, pining; this little drama literally has everything. Did it impact my life and leave a long-lasting impression? Not really. But I was most throughly entertained. 7/10

My Heroic Husband (watch on Amazon Prime | watch on iQIYI VIP | watch on Viki) Adapted from the novel "Zhui Xu" (赘婿) by Fen Nu de Xiang Jiao (愤怒的香蕉). Starring Song Yi and Guo Qilin. Actually, the majority of Joy of Life cast is in this drama, including a cameo by Zhang Ruoyun in the very beginning. Cast aside tho, I fckn love this drama to pieces. Song Yi and Guo Qilin have amazing chemistry, and they’re so goddamn adorable together I can’t even stand it. The plot is far from complex but immensely satisfying. Excellent drama on a mediocre budget, one I plan to regularly rewatch. 8/10

Hii, when are you uploading your next art? It's been like ages lol. Also how's your progress on manga going? And can you suggest some other artists you know, artists like you? Since you also started from 0 followers at some point and your progress on your art is also very inspiring and i guess you know many different artists. I'm searching for inspiration and looking for some Low key artists from other fandoms. I'm slowing trying to improve on my digital painting skills. Still at level 1. Who do you look up to for your inspiration? Sorry, this became a pretty big ask hehe.

Ages? Yeah, ... a little over a month now. I know that because I keep track on it. I pretty much keep track on most things. I do this thing where I plan a few weeks ahead and it is supposed to make sure I have more time left because of the planning but it doesn't account for roadblocks such as wrist pain, technical issues with tablets etc-, mental states, stress, health declines or others. So.. I haven't uploaded anything in a while but I never stopped creating ^^! In fact, I'm learning every single day so that I can create more, "better" (subjective) and build a skill-set that will help me be able to make what I want. I felt like I was making art aimlessly, but having a goal helps. Though, by chance, since you're wondering- this week for sure!

And within that planning is of course the Manga! The process is a lot of fun, but also there is science behind Storytelling and I'm using what I know and learning during my graduation process as well in order to create it. That's why I didn't start drawing until I am completely happy with the story (...and now don't mind so much that my previous draft got lost even thought that was so painful lol). I was so ignorant about it though, thinking I could just... create a Manga. Like c'mon. I knew so much time and dedication went into it and yet I thought I could just... do it 😆 but also, it is this dedication that made me able to do most crazy things in life so why not. If I'm going to spend idk how many hours on this then it better matter to me. I don't want Naruto and Sasuke to just drown in some plot, I want them to actively pursue something they care about and struggle, have dark moments and conflicts... heh.

When I first started drawing.. surprisingly I didn't have that many inspirations. I had no clue what I was doing and so what inspired me was the little art-community around me on Instagram because our goals were similar. My goal to finish Inktober, a wish to "someday create a webtoon" and seeing artists around me upload their art was what inspired me. Then, talking about art, each other's uploads, our obsessions- it was all a lot of fun and helped me improve and so did they! Of course you don't have to go there, you can find artists at any stage of their journey anywhere but really try to find artists and art that you like because your style will grow from that and eventually become your own.

I guess a few artists really stood out to me then, but they're literal gods and nothing like me 🥹..they're; wlop, Z ed, Ruan Jia, Zeen Chin, Guweiz and Dao Tong Le. I had a splash art phase where I fangirl'd (still do) so hard over Bo Chen, Sean Tay, Alex Flores, Cheng Du (crow god), Foritis Wang, but there's also Paul Nong, Ley Bowen, Inhyuk Lee... and for storytelling art there's Kan Liu which art I love and Toni Infante and ooooh Astri Lohne's brushwork is amazing as well. Song Nan Li has a few artworks that I've stared at for days and would love to study someday. Jaz Chiang too. Krenz Cushart has a course that I want to purchase because those colors are sublime... and oh, I'm probably forgetting SO MANY right now but I could go on forever tbh. Lemme talk about artists and their art and I won't be able to stop. There have been many Instagram artists that I've followed but I'm not currently active on there until I graduate so I don't really remember but if you're looking for Twitter/SNS/Naruto specifically then you can look through my following-list or my reblog account here @re-tamelee. Nsfw-warning on Twitter (@ tam_e_lee) though. I think currently a few that inspire me regarding story/expression are helenpeanut, velinxi, Kishimoto, Ramón Nuñez, Moryo, Ryo Yambe, Rias Coast, Yusuke Matsumoto, Bengal, Hong Soonsang, Horikoshi- and still a few others... I'm not sure what you mean by 'low-key' or if this is not what you're looking for but I hope you can find some inspiration from this post and have fun looking at these amazing artists' art! ^^ Thankyou for your lovely ask, have a nice day 🌷 Happy drawing!

Summary:

Zhu’s Jiumei, Qian Duowen, Sun Zhiguo, and Li Zengyuan were warriors from the upper realm, who were relegated to the mortal world for various reasons. Erlang Shen discovered that the demon world invaded China. In order to resist the invasion, he found the four Xiaotian warriors, Zhu Jiumei, Qian Duowen, Li Zeng, and Sun Zhiguo. The four being ordinary people with various shortcomings and growing up to be united, purposeful, and brave giant spirit warriors, and resolutely accepted the mission to find a way to deal with the demon world.

On the way, they experienced the noble sentiments of Bodhi Patriarch who sacrificed his life for righteousness through the tempering of the Zhongtian World, and received the great spirit of Erlang Shen, Feitian and a other group with different personalities who were willing to sacrifice themselves for great ideals and to protect others. The temptation of the fantasy world in Zhongtian gradually faded away, and finally refined into a forbidden spell, successfully defending the story of peace and tranquility in the world.

In the city of Luoyang, someone with the courage of a bear and a leopard, brought a bad scholar to propose marriage to Jiu Mei, the Zhu family’s daughter in the west of the city. With the help of wine, Jiu Mei kicked Ma Xiucai into the pig pen but a strange thing happened. A little piglet fell from the sky, and the piglet laughed out loud and started talking in human language. The drunken girl Jiu Mei and the piglet had a great conversation. After drinking so much, the piglet and the girl actually became sworn brothers. Huazhu said that he was a famous immortal and giant spirit god in the sky. Jiu Mei laughed so hard that it hurt her belly.

The next day, the giant spirit god, who had returned to human form after drinking, was bullied by the gangster Tong Er on the street. Jiu Mei rescued the him and people came to the restaurant to drink heavily. After getting drunk, they slept in the restaurant. The giant spirit god who was upset at night woke up from his dream and saw the Suzaku jade pendant hanging on Jiu Mei's chest. He was overjoyed as it turned out that Jiu Mei was the giant spirit warrior Zhu Bajie he had been looking for. He told Jiu Mei this shocking secret. The Dark Magic King of the West, Feste, was ready to move, practice magic, and rescued the Dark Plague King. He wanted to destroy the East, but his attempt failed and he had turned into a pig's head.

The heavens where about to fall. He took out the Djinn horn and a map that no one could understand ordered Jiu Mei to set off immediately to find her brothers Wukong, Wujing and Sanzang, and to crush the Dark King's huge conspiracy. Jiu Mei's head felt a little numb after hearing this, although she was drunk but still felt that this was too unreliable. In desperation, the giant spirit god used magic to change the small golden hammer from small to large. He shouted slogans of hard work, struggle and love, and used a thunderbolt move from the clear sky to smash himself into a small flower pig. Zhu Jiumei was stunned, looking at the horn and map in her hands, and the tearful and pleading eyes of the little flower pig, Zhu Jiumei was determined to set out to complete a mission that she couldn't even understand herself. The younger brothers who were originally sincere to Jiu Mei were a little uncomfortable when they found out that the boss was a woman. Now they saw her sworn to a pig, so they all evaded and refused to go with her. Jiu Mei was caught in the roaring wind. Wiping away tears, I embarked on the road to the west alone.

The Water Classic, Part 1

[This is the core Classic only, i.e. without the Commentary, however the headings, SJZ01, SJZ02, etc., indicates the corresponding scrolls within the much longer Commentary on the Water Classic.]

[The maps are primarily intended to illustrate the Classic. Place names have as far as possible been placed in accordance with the Historic Atlas of China, and the rivers drawn as straight lines between their closest vicinity to each place. The Classic is not error-free, as is made clear in the Commentary. Unless noted otherwise, discrepancies between the Atlas and the Classic have been resolved in favour of the Atlas. Cities, mountains, rivers and other features not in the Atlas have been placed by me to fit the description in the Classic.]

Kunlun Barrens崑崙墟 are to the north-west, the distance to the Song Heights嵩高 is 50 000 li, it is at the centre of the land. Its height is 11 000 li.

He River河水 sets out from their north-eastern corner, bends to flow south-east from them, and enters the Bo Sea渤海. Again it sets out outside the sea, and to the south arrive below Jishi Mountain積石山 which has the Stone Gates石門 [shimen].

SJZ02

Again south it enters Congling Mountain蔥嶺山, again it sets out from Congling蔥嶺 and then flows north-east. One of its sources sets out from a mountain south of Yutian State于闐國, flows north and combines with the He河 that sets out from Congling蔥嶺. Again it east it pours into the Puchang Sea蒲昌海. Again east it enters the Frontier, and passes south of Dunhuang敦煌, Jiuquan酒泉, and Zhangye Commanderies張掖郡, again east to pass north of Longxi's隴西 Heguan County河關縣.

Tao River洮水 comes flowing from the south-east to pour into it, again east to pass north of Jincheng's金城 Qianya County允吾縣, again east to pass north of Yuzhong County榆中縣, again east to pass the northern boundaries of Tianshui天水, again north-east to pass east of Wuwei's武威 Aowei County媼圍縣, again north-east to pass north of Tianshui's天水 Yongshi County勇士縣, again north-east to pass Maitian Mountain麥田山 at the northern boundaries of Anding安定.

In the Romance, when Zhuge Liang sends Liu Shan a letter demanding to be allowed to do his second northern invasion, he argues that Shu has already lost too many of its great generals (to old age, illness, etc.) and needs to fight now before any more die. The dead generals he mentions, besides Zhao Zilong, are: Yang Qun, Ma Yu, Yan Zhi, Ding Li, Bo Shou, Liu He, and Deng Tong. Were any of these guys actually great generals, or is this more Shu fluffing?

This is a more interesting question than it might first appear. The speech in SGYY is mostly identical to a petition attributed to Zhuge Liang before beginning his second invasion. However, that petition is not found in the base biography but in a HJCQ annotation appended by Pei Songzhi. It also contains certain errors, the most significant one being that Zhao Yun, whose loss Zhuge Liang mourns in the petition, was still alive at that time. Its authenticity is thus in doubt and it may very well just be an invention by the historian Xi Zuoci.

Aside from Zhao Yun, none of those men were particularly important.

Diamondback appears in place of Coachwhip in the eastern garrison to ambush Guan Ping. Coachwhip will instead appear near the northwest of the battlefield next to Yoshitsugu.

In the aftermath, Guan Ping and Huang Zhong will join Nobunaga. Huang Zhong tells Nobunaga that he resembles Cao Cao. Nobunaga is interested in finding him and then asks Huang Zhong to lead him to Honnōji, where he is said to be…

Chapter 2: Battle of Honnōji 本能寺の戦い

It was reported that in his initial fight against Orochi, Cao Cao had died at Yiling. However, Nobunaga decided to head to Honnōji, where Cao Cao was rumoured to be living in seclusion. By the time Nobunaga arrived, Honnōji was surrounded by Orochi’s forces.

Toshiie Maeda will appear in place of Kazumasu Takigawa from the Z version of this battle and will be tasked by Nobunaga to extinguish the flames around Honnōji. Li Dian will be replaced by a generic officer when Xiahou Dun arrives. Lianshi will appear in place of Chen Lan and Lei Bo will be replaced by a Wu generic officer.

Xiahou Dun will arrive, outraged that his lord is not there while the “pretender” Nobunaga is. Shingen Takeda will follow, expecting to find Nobunaga, but he finds that Nobunaga is occupied with the Orochi Army.

In the aftermath of the battle, Xiahou Dun tells Nobunaga that he is not fit to replace Cao Cao. Nobunaga tells him that he is wasting his time searching for the dead. Sun Shangxiang is brought to Nobunaga, having been captured in the battle. Nobunaga asks if the kingdom of Wu has any spirit left in them, then has the prisoners released.

Chapter 3: Battle of Kyūshū 九州の戦い

Nobunaga identified some independent forces in Kyūshū as potential reinforcements for his own army.

Kanbei Kuroda and Sadakatsu Murai swap places at the start of the battle.

Kanetsugu Naoe will arrive to assist the Oda, under orders from Kenshin Uesugi. He will see that Sakon’s forces aren’t working together to see the big picture while Nobunaga is more concerned with strengthening his power.

In the aftermath, Nobunaga grants Sakon an opportunity to demonstrate his strategy and allows Zhang Jiao, Okuni and Xiaoqiao to join his army. After an officer suggests that they should join forces with Kenshin Uesugi and Shingen Takeda, Nobunaga declines.

Chapter 4: Battle of Tong Gate 潼関の戦い

The kingdom of Wu had its leader Sun Jian captured and their forces forced to serve in the Orochi Army. Nobunaga decided to send Sakon Shima to aid Sun Ce, who was leading Wu in his father’s absence. Sakon was aware of the secrets of many armies, including the whereabouts of where Sun Jian was held. Nobunaga believed that if Sun Ce had that information, he would defect from the Orochi Army. However, the Orochi Army arrived to attack Nobunaga at that very moment, making Sakon’s journey extremely problematic…

Katsuie Shibata appears as an additional officer for the Oda Army. Guan Xing and Guan Suo will appear as additional officers along the Yellow River. Hisahide Matsunaga and Munenori Yagyū will also appear in the southeast.

Guide Sakon to the escape point and defeat Dong Zhuo to win the battle. Sakon will farewell Nobunaga to join forces with Sun Ce.

Chapter 5: Battle of Guandu 官渡の戦い

Coalition Army and Ling Tong Troop vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Nobunaga Oda, Zhang Jiao, Mitsuhide Akechi, Nagahide Niwa Third-party characters: Ling Tong Enemy characters: Da Ji, Daqiao, Diaochan, Lu Lingqi

Shingen Takeda and Kenshin Uesugi overcame their differences to form a military alliance. Believing that this had only served to gather the enemy soldiers for easier disposal, Orochi gleefully sent his main forces in to wage war with them at Nagashino. Though Shingen and Kenshin were brave and cunning leaders, they were outnumbered by Orochi’s army. When Nobunaga heard what was happening, he sent his army to attack Guandu rather than send reinforcements to Nagashino.

Lu Lingqi will appear in place of Nobushige Oyamada in this battle. Ling Tong will arrive in the east to assist in this battle.

In the aftermath, Huang Zhong will report that Shingen and Kenshin have been defeated at Nagashino. However, Nobunaga foresaw that and reveals that if he went to Nagashino, the enemy would have overrun Guandu instead.

Chapter 6: Battle of Fan Castle 樊城の戦い

After the Orochi Army were victorious at Nagashino, Orochi had his forces head to Guandu, only to find it taken by Nobunaga. This greatly lowered the Orochi Army’s morale since they were already fatigued from the long journey. Wanting to take advantage of this situation, Nobunaga lay in wait at Fan Castle…

Kanbei Kuroda will appear in place of Ittetsu Inaba and Nagayoshi Mori will appear in place of Toshiie Maeda like in the Z version of the battle.

Li Dian will appear in place of Yu Jin, Zhou Tai will appear in place of Hideyasu Yūki and Lianshi will appear near Sun Quan as an additional officer. Xiahou Ba will be replaced by a generic officer when Xiahou Dun arrives out of nowhere, intending to defeat the “pretender”, Nobunaga.

Defeat both Cao Pi and Xiahou Dun to win the battle. In the aftermath, Nobunaga advises Xiahou Dun to give Cao Pi a chance as a leader. If he needs to cross swords with a man to determine his worth, then he should do that with Cao Pi.

Chapter 7: Battle of the Wuzhang Plains 五丈原の戦い

Coalition Army and Takeda-Uesugi Army vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Nobunaga Oda, Katsuie Shibata, Toshiie Maeda Third-party characters: Kenshin Uesugi, Kanetsugu Naoe, Kagekatsu Uesugi, Shingen Takeda Enemy characters: Da Ji, Masamune Date, Keiji Maeda, Munenori Yagyū, Kojūrō Katakura, Hisahide Matsunaga

Sakon had liased with Sun Ce, while Xiahou Dun had reconciled with Cao Pi. Nobunaga’s plans were beginning to come to fruition. Realising for the first time that Nobunaga was attempting to unite the Resistance forces into a single mighty army (or rather a united front), Orochi ordered Da Ji to have Nobunaga killed. Da Ji set forth to meet Nobunaga at the Wuzhang Plains…

Toshiie Maeda will appear in place of Ujisato Gamō from the Z version of this battle and Katsuie Shibata will appear in place of Ittetsu Inaba, who in turn appears in the northwestern garrison where Nagayoshi Mori would be.

Munenori Yagyū will appear in place of Mitsuyasu Shimura in this battle. Hisahide Matsunaga will appear in place of Zhong Hui when Da Ji sends out reinforcements near her main camp.

Later in the battle, Kenshin Uesugi and Shingen Takeda will arrive as reinforcements, having survived the Orochi Army’s attack at Nagashino. Kagekatsu Uesugi will appear in place of Kageie Kakizaki.

In the aftermath, Kenshin and Shingen join Nobunaga’s quest to defeat Orochi and Nobunaga prepares his forces for a final showdown.

Chapter 8: Battle of Koshi Castle 古志城の戦い

Some variations have been made to the Chapter 8 Koshi Castle battles. In each faction’s version, they will fight one of Orochi’s main generals with the exception of Da Ji and Lu Bu, who will appear in each version. In this version of the battle, that general will be Hisahide Matsunaga.

Hisahide Matsunaga and Munenori Yagyū will appear as additional officers in the south of the battlefield. When reinforcements from Wu and Wei arrive later, they are known as the 同盟軍 in Japanese or the Wu Army in English. In this version of the game, they are known as the Resistance Army 反乱軍. Also, the reinforcements are made up of generic officers.

When Lu Bu is defeated, Orochi will open the gates of Koshi Castle. Defeat Orochi to win the battle.

“We must influence politics, so this means we have a lot of things to do. So, maybe our activity in the political area should be enhanced.”

During 1976, the subcommittee also received information about an apparent attempt by Moon and his followers–along with Tong-sun Park–to buy a controlling interest in the Diplomat National Bank (DNB), which opened in Washington D.C., in December 1975. Neil Salonen, president of the UC of America, was called to testify concerning this and other allegations. Salonen said he had bought DNB stock at the suggestion of Pak Bo Hi, but denied the UC was in any way involved in financing the DNB stock purchases.

Wood described the early opposition of some UC members toward engaging in political activities: “At this stage in the Movement’s development, the general membership was politically unsophisticated. The idea of a political arm was new. The purists in the movement who believed that a church should have nothing to do with polities voiced strong opposition. It was pointed out to them that the Church in Japan and Korea carried out extensive anti-Communist political programs.

They were told that it was Master’s expressed desire to begin political work in the United States. Thereafter, members objections to political activities was considered infidelity to Master and was like being disobedient to God.”

According to Wood, this policy decision by Moon, carrying with it the force of a religious command, triggered the start of political activities in the United States–contrary to the statements of Salonen and other Moon Organization spokesmen who portray(ed) UC members’ political activities as the free exercise of their independent political beliefs.

In testimony before the New York City Tax Commission Neil Salonen, President of the UC of America, was questioned about the relationship between that church and other “Moon organizations.” He minimized the interrelationships. Asked about the Freedom Leadership Foundation (FLF), he said that only one officer of FLF was also an officer in UC of America. Salonen refused to answer how many members of FLF were UC members. He admitted that the UC had provided 60 percent of FLF’s funds during a recent year, but stressed that this was but a small percentage of the church’s total expenditures.

As for the relationship between the UC of America and Unification Church International, Salonenasserted there was no connection “other than a spiritual bond of the heart.” (In fact, by January 1977 the national UC had transferred money to UCI and in turn received over $1 million from UCI.) Salonen called News World “an independent corporation” to which the church rented space, but which was funded by UCI; he said that International Federation for Victory Over Communism had “no connection with the Unification Church in America.”

Salonen, Pak Bo Hi, and other UC leaders have also emphatically denied on various occasions that the Korean Cultural and Freedom Foundation (KCFF) is part of the Moon Organization. Regarding the Little Angels, a KCFF project, Salonen stated: “The Little Angels and the UC may share the same founder, but otherwise there is no connection.”

In testimony before the subcommittee Salonen said that, so far as he knew, the KCFF was not directly or indirectly controlled by Moon.

Central to the official posture maintained by the UC and its spokesmen is the portrayal of Moon as a founder and spiritual leader, with little or no responsibility for his organization’s fiscal, administrative, and other worldly matters. Before the New York Tax Commission, Neil Salonen stated: “Rev. Moon is considered the prophet of the Church and the founder. Other than that he has no specific relationship.”

Salonen went on to say that Moon received “no compensation whatsoever” from the UC and that expenses paid on Moon’s behalf, mostly for travel, amounted to only a few thousand dollars in a recent year. Salonen did not know how Moon provided for his personal expenses. He said that Moon “provides spiritual guidance to the movement all over the world,” but that he “doesn’t direct the affairs of the organization in an administrative or physical sense.”

Moon Organization spokesmen, well aware of U.S. restrictions on political activities by tax-exempt groups, frequently explained seemingly political activities in religious terms. Neil Salonen maintained before the Subcommittee “…our feelings regarding the philosophy and doctrines of Communism are not political feelings, they are spiritual religious feelings…”

Elkins and the others who were to engage in the egg-throwing were separated from the main body of demonstrators who had marched from Dupont Circle to the Korean Embassy. A former UC member who took part in this march recalled that while the demonstrators were near the Korean Embassy, someone came out of the Embassy and spoke to Neil Salonen. Shortly afterwards Salonen called the demonstration off. Salonen, on the other hand, testified that he decided on his own to call off the demonstration while demonstrators were still gathered at Dupont Circle.

Neil Salonen testified under oath that he was present at a meeting during which there was a discussion about funds being brought in from abroad for investments in the Diplomat National Bank. He refused to give further details, claiming attorney-client privilege because, he said, a lawyer was also present at the meeting.
