"Hey," Ekko entered their workshop and closed the door.

"Hey, Big Guy." She greeted without looking up from her work.  She held up a small vial containing dark green liquid and then inserted it into a bomb.

He pulled out his seat from his side. "I got your note."

Jinx stilled.

Earlier, she had slid an envelope under his bedroom door marked, 'IMPORTANT! URGENT!!' in blue and pink markers.

The note read:

Hey, Little Man.

Do you like me?

[  ] Yes? :)

[  ] No? :C

Her knee bounced under the table.  She pushed her goggles back and then quickly licked her lips before she asked, "Yeah...and...?"

He took out the paper from his pocket and folded it into a triangle. "I think the answer should be obvious." He replied with a smirk.

He set it on the table and then flicked it to her side. She caught it in her hands and bit her lower lip while she opened it

The no option was vehemently crossed out with the word, 'Never. >:(' written beside the scribbles.

He didn't just check the yes box. He also circled and underlined the word with hearts drawn around it.

Jinx scoffed in disbelief and beamed widely at the paper.

He rolled his chair next to hers. He ran his fingers through her hair until his hand caressed one of her braids he held.

"We've been dating for a month. You don't have to ask me if I like you." He told her softly.

She briefly looked from the paper, shrugging and smiling sheepishly. "I just wanted to do an interest check."

He tipped her chin to make her look at him. "I'm always going to be interested in you, Sugarbomb. Nothing will ever change that." He assured.

She smiled endearingly and then ruffled his hair.  "Thanks, Pippin. You're not too bad yourself." She said before kissing his cheek.
