Silence, and nothing more
Shadows but no light
Darkness and nothing more
Divinity but no life
Eternal night falls
My destiny calls
Those who see become blind
Sadness fills my eyes
The touch of a new dawn
Desolate and bald
The whiteness is gone
Nothing to adore
Its light does not heat
Coldness in my feet
How to be brave
Standing on your grave
All my love is gone
Silence and nothing more
No words sad enough
For me to say
No price high enough
For me to pay
All my love is gone
Silence and nothing more
No words sad enough
For me to say
No price high enough
For me to pay

I’ve shared these on Discord but decided I wanna share them here too. I know that most of my blog is SU/Paleontology related but I’m also a huge fan of Bionicle. And the Barraki are one of if not my favorite wave of sets from the entire theme. So a while back I wanted to rework them to highlight how bizarre and wonderful they were. Also some size comparisons between them and my Nocturn set!
Pridak is my fav of this bunch but I’m honestly proud of all of them. Tell me which is your fav!

Kalmah's feet feel like kitbashed placeholder parts that didn't get replaced with a finished part by the time that the set went into production.
Like, they are literally just fancier Hordika feet.

(Before Y'all Read: HEAVILY SUGGESTIVE CONTENT AHEAD)
The jolts of electricity running through his organic tissue were the only thing keeping him fully conscious at this point.
Very painfully, of course; but he'd take that over drowning.
It burned terribly, maddeningly, and his muscles tensed and jerked without him having any say over it. To admit the excitement the sensation stirred in him would have been mortifying, once, many years ago; but everybody had gotten their turn at it, and he could read in their faces the truth of the matter, and while a hilarious sense of decor still dictated nobody mention a word of it he knew his pleasured reaction was not an exception, but the rule.
Just enough time to get a gasp of air, and water was again washing over his face.
The voice came garbled near his head, strange and distorted by the liquid. The muffled sound couldn't hide the desperate snarling want within it, and the lack of air against his neck couldn't hide the intensity of those groans and pants.
One could have almost said it was nuzzling, what Ehlek was doing against his chin; one could have almost said there was something amorous about all of this.
One could have said his sharp teeth itching to bite his throat was a sign of love.
Clearly, one had never met the Barraki before.
He grasped the water dweller's wrist as tight as he could the very moment his lungs began burning from lack of air, hastily requesting to break through the surface before he passed out - which would have certainly caused the encounter to take on a disturbing necrophilic tone he wasn't particularly keen on allowing.
A clawed hand grasped the back of his neck as its twin did the same for his hip: just as the cold air met the creases in his armor again and his mouth opened wide to greedily take in as much of that sweet venom as he could, a lightning bolt lurched through him with a loud guttural shriek, tearing any last remnants of oxygen from his body as he let out a strangled sound nothing short of absolutely obscene.
He remained held up like that, by that trembling hand that so easily could have crushed his throat, dazed and stunned by the terrifyingly effective concoction brewed from electricity and coital bliss like a Gukko hit by a rock, for an amount of time that would have certainly put his life at risk.
But nothing struck to kill him.
He was laid down gently by that trembling limb on a thinner torso, face ever so slightly out of the water, just enough to be submerged, and allowed to slowly regain his breath. His entire body ached; warmth pooled inside him.
Claws sank into his flesh.
"The sea," Ehlek murmured, exhausted.
He gave a questioning grunt, still incapable of properly speaking beyond a hiss.
Ehlek rubbed his nose against the strong neck, submerged just enough so that he wouldn't need to leave any part of his face above the water; his fangs scraped against the exposed muscle, opening ever so slightly as though he were still looking to leave a mark, to tear him into submission, to taste his blood, the blood of a peer, the blood of a conqueror, the blood of a being perfect enough to deserve near total control over the known universe.
"I want the sea," he whispered; his gills gurgled lightly as he breathed deeply through them. "I want the seas, and everything within them... All mine... All mine..."
The claws digging deeper into his leg made his partner hiss in a pain close enough to ecstasy. An equally bloodthirsty hand reached to cup the water dweller's nape within it - pressing enough to pierce through what little flesh it could find to repay him with the same delectable anguish, making the other shudder and growl and hold onto the body in his arms tighter.
It might have been a surprise, that to convince a warlord into joining a revolution to seize power over everything they'd had to resort to a frankly astronomical dosage of such delightful torture; but then again, what else could sway a creature as anxious as him? And what else could make him lightheaded enough to request such a vast yet barren thing as his prize, one that barely amounted to anything to his allies in such an enormous playground only theirs for the taking...
"It can be arranged," he panted quietly, satisfied.
Ehlek gave a grumbling sound and nuzzled against him in a grotesque parody of affection.

general:
obviously, blind guardian takes first place 🩵
though, i find it weird that heavy load (sweden) didn’t make it on my top 5 artists but their track “take me away” did make it to the top 5 tracks.
