“Baby, lunch was amazing today! And thank you for putting the Twirl in there!” He grins as you both get back to the hotel, it had been a good race and you were both happy.
“I’m so glad you enjoyed it hunny. I’ve already made a meal plan of what I’m going to make at each race! You’ll be so happy with breakfast lunch and dinner in Silverstone!” You grin pulling him in for a kiss.
“Mmmm what have I got?” He grins, pulling you to sit on his lap on the sofa in your hotel room.
“Breakfast, of course a full English, get you all set for the day and make sure you’ve got all the protein to see you through till lunch. Then you’ve got your fave Ham Pesto and Mozzarella Sandwich for lunch. And then to round it off, I’ll invite Toto, Suzie, Lewis, George and Carmen all round for a Sunday Roast!” You say practically bouncing at the prospect of guests and being able to cook for them!
“I love you, you are without a doubt the best thing that has ever happened to me” he smiles pulling you back to relax on the sofa as you both sit there in each others embrace.
“I love you most!” You declare making him laugh and kiss your head. It wasn’t a battle he could win with you despite knowing you were wrong and he held an impossible amount of love for you.

fan1: I’m living for this series, not the rich men racing!
fan2: this is so cute that she cooks for him!
“You know, the boys keep saying you need to start bringing it in for them aswell” he chides as you get into the car.
“What am I expected to cook for the 5000 now? I don’t think so, that’s why they have a paid for hospitality…” you groan, waking up early just to prepare Peter some food was exhausting you couldn’t imagine getting up to make it for more people!
“Maybe Toto should hire you as head chef here!” He grins and you laugh at the thought. You, working in Mercedes Catering?
“Baby … you know I have a … Michelin Star right?” you offer in confusion.
“Oh so your below working for Mercedes now are you?” He frowns, faking his offence on the matter.
“Oh stop being a whiny baby Pete!” You scold lightly hitting his arm, making him recoil and sigh before pulling you into a big hug.
“Im lucky you don’t have to be there 24/7. What would I do without you” he laughs.
“Probably starve as you’d forget to eat!” You hum in thought.

Round Three 🇦🇺 Of course I couldn’t come in and not offer fairy bread (as requested by my adopted grid son Oscar Piastri) and my famous Chicken Parm Sandwiches for the team which went down a treat!

oscarpiastri: thank you for the fairy bread Y/N, LN understands the hype now
-> landonorris: don’t tell Jon, he said I couldn’t have any …
-> y/user: and rat out my second grid son, no way!
danielricciardo: brought back childhood memories! Thanks for coming all the way to VCARB for delivery!
-> y/user: you are welcome Dani! 🇦🇺🐨
“Thank you for the fairy bread!” Oscar said pulling you into a hug as you came back to get your container from the McLaren garage, seeing it fully empty.
“Everyone enjoy? Even though I felt like a child making it?” You laugh knowing it wasn’t exactly a chef thing to make but Oscar had asked for it, and who were you to deny the literal son you had adopted since he started.
“Yeah, Lando hadn’t ever tried it and I made it for Lily once to prove to her it was a real thing we ate but the bread kinda ended up being soggy, she preferred yours a lot more” he laughed back and you continued to talk about racing, cooking, life and everything else that just came up.
Halfway through that conversation Lando joined pulling his grid mum into a massive hug and asking her to bake him some cake or make the chicken wraps.
Fun fact, Y/N actually invented the chicken wrap for Lando. She became Lando’s private chef for a while when he lived in the UK, and he wasn’t … well I mean he’s Lando and if anyone expects him to know even know to turn on an oven you are sorely mistaken.
Eventually a group of drivers were around the woman, and it took Peter and Lewis forcing their way through to get her to come back.
“You’ve been busy!” He smiles nodding his head to the now dispersing group.
“Yeah, just talking to the kids!” You grin, nodding in the McLaren twins direction who were now messing around with each other.

-> y/user: I thought you enjoyed my cooking!
-> peter.bonn: I DO! Just missing some creature comforts!
“You were amazing in that interview baby!” He says twirling you around as he came to pick you up on the Saturday evening. You had unfortunately missed qualifying, but you were excited to hear about your husbands day.
“Thank you, how was qually?” You ask.
“Could have been better, could have been worse” he admits looking down. He then tells you all about his frustrations with the car this season and he feels pretty helpless when it comes to advising Lewis who is getting more and more hot headed as the season progresses.
“Well I made your favourite!” You grin showing him the famous Victoria Sponge you’d made on the cooking show.
“Oh fuck, I love you!” He grins before directing you over to the car to get you both back to the hotel as soon as possible so he can have some of the delicacy in the tin on your lap.

And my favourite Sandwich? I can’t wait to see what you’ve got planned for Monaco next week!” He grins happily. Loving that you were cooking him something for every race.
“Ooo that reminds me. I picked you up these” you grin. Out from your bag you pull out a box of American Candy that he always wanted whenever you guys were in the states.

1/4 tsp saffron
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (cinnamon powder)
1/2 tsp ground all spice
1/2 tsp dried whole lime powder
How to make the chicken
2 tbsp oil or butter
3 onions, sliced
1 tbsp minced ginger (ginger paste)
1 tbsp minced garlic (garlic paste)
1 green chili
2 dried bay leaves
6 cloves
4 cardamom pods
1 cinnamon stick
2 tbsp tomato puree (tomato paste)
1 pinch ground nutmeg (nutmeg powder)
1/2 tsp ground black pepper (black pepper powder)

3 medium carrots, thinly sliced
200 g canned diced tomatoes (or 3 tomatoes chopped)

To make kabsa spice mix, combine together cardamom, white pepper, saffron, cinnamon, all spice and lime powder in a bowl. Set aside.
Heat oil in a large heavy bottomed pan over medium-high heat. Add onions, ginger, garlic and green chilies. Sauté for 2-3 minutes or until the onions turn golden brown. Add bay leaves, cloves, cardamom pods and cinnamon stick. Fry for a minute.
Stir in tomato purée. Add ground nutmeg, ground black pepper, ground cumin, ground coriander and kabsa spice. Season with salt. Fry the spices for a minute. Add carrots and diced tomatoes. Stir, and cook for 2 minutes.
Add chicken cubes and chicken pieces. Brown chicken, turning occasionally, for about 30 minutes. Remove the chicken pieces from the pan. Set aside.
Add rice and raisins. Pour in 4 cups water. Season with salt. Bring it to the boil. Reduce the heat, cover with lid, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Preheat grill. Grill chicken for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through. Serve rice with grilled chicken.

If you could eat a 400g plate/bowl of anything in the world for free rn what would you have
Ooh, that's an interesting question… I would want to eat something I have never tried before (due to it being difficult to obtain, expensive etc) but would like to one day; alas, the thing I have dreamed of trying for years, Tak Ka Tan, is finally within my reach so I wouldn't spend this specific scenario on that. Another thing I want to try is deep-fried stinky tofu, but I don't know yet if I could go through 400g of it and I hate the idea of wasting nice food, so that's also not an option… Now that I gave it a bit of thought, I think camel kabsa will be my pick. It is both something I wish i could try (i've heard that camel meat can be comparable to grass fed beef or softer venison and comparing it would be interesting, but I wouldn't even know where to get my hands on it here and how much could it cost me T_T) and something I know i will actually like because… rice dishes with meat and vegetables beloved I could live eating only them… :3c

G-Team Potluck
[To get to know each other better, Quatre suggests a potluck and asks that the Gundam pilots bring memorable dishes from their childhoods for everyone to try. The night of the potluck, Duo arrives and plops a pot onto the table.  He eyes the other food set out...]
DUO  *at Heero*  Is that yours?  Heero...buddy...  You were supposed to bring something prepared.  You can’t just bring a whole-ass pineapple and call it a dish.
HEERO  This is what I ate as a child.
DUO  You didn’t understand the assignment.
HEERO  I understood just fine.
DUO  Ugh...  *spotting Quatre’s dishes*  Ooh!  Hey, those look pretty good!  What have you got there?
QUATRE  The main dish is kabsa--roasted chicken over mixed rice.  I brought salad, too, in case the rest of the food is too heavy.  *at Duo’s pot*  Is that chili?
DUO  Yep!  Most authentic there is!
HEERO  I watched you scoop that out of tin cans twenty minutes ago.
DUO  Which is authentically how I ate it as a kid.  Brought a bag of Cheetos puffs to dunk in it too for the real L-2 chili experience.  *as Wufei enters with a basket in hand*  Oh shit, Wufei, are those dumplings?  Gimme, gimme!
WUFEI  *frowns sulkily as he hands one over*
DUO  *biting into it*  Did you make these yourself?  They’re really good!  Why’d you never tell me you could cook?
WUFEI  Because I didn’t want you hounding me to cook for you.
DUO  Hmm.  Yeah, I guess that’s fair.  I’m gonna hound you twice as bad now though.  *swallowing the rest of the dumpling whole*  Okay, so Heero screwed up, but overall I think this was a great idea Quat.  I’m gonna eat good tonight.  ...Hey, where’s--
[Trowa arrives, puts a crockpot on the table, and removes the lid without a word.  Everyone stares in horror except for Heero, who takes a bowl and immediately begins serving himself.]
DUO  Oh my God.
QUATRE  It’s...  It’s very...
WUFEI  ...red.
DUO  Is that BLOOD??  What the fuck is that???  Jesus fuck, who did you murder??  And what are those chunks floating in there???
TROWA  No.  Borshch.  Not relevant.  Sausage.
DUO  I’m not eating that.  I am NOT eating that.
QUATRE  It would be impolite not to try...
WUFEI  You’re the leader.  We’ll try it if you do.
[Trowa raises an eyebrow and offers Quatre a bowl.  Duo and Wufei warily accept bowls as well.  Everyone takes a spoonful and tastes at the same time.  Duo starts gagging.  Heero, already finished with his first bowl, grabs the ladle to get a second helping.]
QUATRE  *straining for complimentary language*  It’s...ah...  It’s good to have tasted something that meant a lot to you as a child, Trowa.  I feel that I know you a little better now.
TROWA  Good.  You can put the bowls down now.  Catherine’s waiting outside; she made beef stew.
DUO  You--  *throwing his spoon at Trowa*  You’re sick.  SICK.
HEERO  ...
HEERO  So are you not going to finish that or

Desert Delights
Saudi cuisine is hearty and designed to sustain in a harsh environment like the arid expanses of the Arabian Desert. Traditional dishes like "mandi" are a desert delight. The dish features tender, slow-cooked lamb or chicken flavored with an assortment of spices and is served on a bed of fragrant rice. The cooking method involves sealing the ingredients in an underground clay oven, allowing them to slow-cook to perfection.
Saudi Arabia's vast deserts have been home to nomadic tribes for centuries. The nomadic lifestyle has greatly influenced the cuisine, giving birth to dishes that can be prepared with minimal resources. Dishes like "jareesh" and "harees," made from crushed and coarsely ground wheat and meat, are staples and create a comforting and filling porridge-like texture. Dates are considered a desert treasure and are a common accompaniment to several meals.
Mountainous Treasures
As you move towards the southern mountains of Saudi Arabia, you will find unique culinary delights. "Al-kabsa" is a highly regarded and beloved dish in the region, featuring spiced rice with tender pieces of chicken or lamb. The dish is known for its bold flavors, often brought forth through the use of saffron, black lime, and bay leaves.
"Al-mutabbaq" is another mountainous treat – a flaky pastry filled with various ingredients like vegetables, meat, or even sweet fillings. It is a delicious snack or meal that is best enjoyed in the cool mountain air.
Coastal Cuisine
The coastal areas of Saudi Arabia, along the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf, offer a plethora of seafood. The region's cuisine is a seafood lover's dream. Dishes like "sayadieh" feature perfectly cooked fish or shrimp served on a bed of spiced rice. The spices and herbs used in coastal dishes give them a distinct flavor and set them apart from other regions.
