Hello and congrats for your 800 followers !
Can I have a "Wait, you think I am cute ?" With Shinobu please ?
“Wait, you think I’m cute?”
Characters: Kuki Shinobu x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: I like Shinobu, some people may complain about how she does no damage, but she heals both my characters and my heart well enough /hj
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Shinobu
Kuki Shinobu wore a mask, that fact seemed as natural to you as the sun rising in the morning and being replaced by the moon at night. And while it was obvious that there had been a time she ran around without one, you hadn’t been fortunate enough to know her at that point, first meeting her long after she joined the Arataki gang. But even though you were interested, you decided not to pry further when it came to what was underneath it, deciding that you’d only get to out when she felt comfortable enough to show you herself.
When the door behind last person asking counsel concerning one of Shinobu’s many skills left her office, she didn’t waste a single moment to stand up, removing her mask as she stretched herself and let out a yawn, looking out of the window to see that the sun was already beginning to disappear behind the horizon, silently thanking fate for not forcing her to bail her idiot colleagues out of jail for once. Who knows, maybe, if she was lucky, she’d get blessed with another uneventful day tomorrow. But just as she was about to make one last stretch, the door to her office flew open within an instant, and with it, you barged in, leaving her no time to put on her mask again before your eyes landed on her.
“Shinobu! You won’t believe it, there’s this new dish called pizza being sold and it's... really great”, your enthusiasm and voice dwindled within an instance once you realised what you were seeing, only for her to quickly put an end to it by covering her mouth up again. You had been told before not to try find out what was behind her mask, causing your imagination to come up with a whole mountain of ideas what she could have been trying to hide from the world, but you certainly didn’t imagine something so… normal. And while her mouth wasn’t that noteworthy, her panicked reaction was the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. Not like you’d tell her that, the last thing you wanted to do was risk provoking her, especially after having heard all of the reports of the Arataki-gang’s members about how scary she was when angered. Only an idiot would have opened their mou-
“Holy-, you are so cute.” And never mind, while your brain might have had some common sense, the same could not be said about your mouth, and before you realised it, you suddenly found yourself fearing for your life.
But Shinobu’s outburst never came, and when you finally opened your eyes again, having shut them tight during your—what you assumed at the time—last prayer, you were greeted by a look of complete bafflement.
“Wait, you think I’m cute?”, she eventually asked, not even trying to hide her confusion. Shinobu had been called a lot of things in her life: cool, scary, the shrine maiden that never smiles, but cute was a new one.
“Yes!- No!- Maybe…?”, you blurted out, your brain being too much in panic-modus to realise what you were saying, only for you to quickly take a deep bow before rushing to the door.
“I’m sorry, I should have knocked first. I swear I won’t tell a soul about what I saw”, you apologised before hurrying out of the door, letting out a sigh of relief, being happy to not have angered her too much, while praying she would forgive you until the next time you met.
On the opposite side of the door, you left Shinobu wondering about what had just happened, and while it took her a few moments to process what you had said, when she was done, she took off her mask once again before taking one last look out of the window, only to see a reflection of herself in the glass… smiling. After a bit of hesitation, she began tracing her mouth with her finger, confirming that what she saw was the truth, causing her to let out one last sigh before once again collapsing into her chair, silently staring at the ceiling.

CONGRATS ON 800 I LOVE UR FICS I’d like to request prompt 7 with yae miko 😳
“Shush and go back to bed”
Characters: Yae Miko x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: And with this we're halfway through the event, so let me once again thank everyone that requested and also everyone reading the prompts.
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Yae Miko
Yae always had-… unusual priorities. There was a time where you tried to rank them, only to eventually give up, deciding that since you couldn’t even rank your own priorities without tying half of them in the top ten, ranking someone else’s made little sense. But it was very obvious to you, that, even if you couldn’t rank anything else, the sales of her publishing house would be very high on her list.
When you woke up in the middle of the night, the only thing on your mind was to instantly close your eyes again and continue to sleep, but when you turned to where Yae had been the last time you fell asleep, only to find her missing and noticed the sound of two conversing voices ringing through the halls, you quickly to stand up before trying to rub the sleepiness out of your eyes. Once done, you started to approach the source of the noises and while others in your situation might have been at least slightly worried about the possibility of interrupting two burglar, you had to admit, that this had been far from the first time you found yourself where you did right now.
Once you arrived in the living room, you were instantly greeted by the sight of Yae discussing something with one of her publishing house’s managers, and while you couldn’t made out what exactly they were saying, your tired brain still being far from fully accustomed to the fact that the rest of your body was very much not asleep, you felt like it was a safe bet to say that they had been overtaken in sales, causing them to go on the warpath in the middle of the night.
“I take it that there has been a bestseller that wasn’t published by you?”, you eventually spoke up, causing both of their faces to turn towards you, and while Yae’s was one of slight annoyance, her assistant seemed surprised that their—not exactly silent—planning had managed to wake you up. Nevertheless, they quickly nodded before stating the novel’s title, causing Yae’s mood to take another nose-dive.
“Yae’s publishing house has its fair share of overly long titles, but that seems a bit too ridiculous, who would buy something like that?”, she complained, causing you to take a mental note to dispose of your copy as quickly as possible. You had just opened your mouth and were about to defend any hypothetical buyers before Yae cut you off with a sigh. “While waking you up wasn’t our intention, we are still in the middle of working out a strategy, so shush and go back to sleep, my little bird”, she stated while trying her best to sound as sweet as possible, and while it might have almost worked, her use of that nickname made it obvious to you that she really didn’t want you there right now.
‘My little bird’, a name you felt confident in saying you hated. The only times she’d use it being in public when she wanted to quickly make you feel embarrassed. Sadly, you had grown very accustomed to it, causing your reactions to get milder. Unluckily for you though, that didn’t mean it had no effect on you, still making your face heat up. One quick glance towards the third person in the room made revealed them uncomfortably looking around, making it obvious how little they enjoyed being forced to witness such a scene, probably triggering unpleasant memories about how Yae treated her own staff and writers.
“Is something wrong, little bird? Are you lost? Do you need me to accompany you back?”, she continued her thinly veiled teasing when you continued standing there for a few more seconds, causing your face to heat up even more. Before she had the chance to say even more embarrassing stuff, you had already turned around and were marching back towards the bedroom, all the blood in your head causing your brain to completely wake up, resulting in you lying in bed for what felt like hours, fully awake and swearing to yourself that you were never again going to respond to sounds in the middle of the night. No matter if they were Yae or actual burglars.

Hello, congrats on 800 followers btw,to another era of simping after all-btw for the event may I request the “It’s three in the morning” with Kuki Shinobu Bcs reader’s sleep schedule is non-existent so they randomly wake up in the middle of the night to do things but that day they didn’t realise Kuki awoke to them sneaking out of bed-hope I wasn’t too complex and take care!!
“It’s three in the morning”
Characters: Kuki Shinobu x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: I originally wanted to write a different prompt today, but since today’s Shinobu’s birthday, something that I wasn’t aware of, I decided to make this a bit birthday-y.
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Kuki Shinobu
Most people would get thrilled about their birthday approaching, but Shinobu couldn’t exactly say the same thing about herself. She once had made the mistake of telling the rest of the Arataki-Gang about the date for her birthday, and while she wasn’t a huge fan of them before, having to bail these idiots out every year because they thought it would be a great idea to throw a big, spontaneous, celebration, without telling any of the authorities, causing them to get to live through the sobering experience of spending a few hours behind bars, definitely didn’t help to fuel her enthusiasm.
And so, the only time periods of that day she got to somewhat enjoy and relax were the early morning or evening, mostly because she slept during those times. So, to say that she wasn’t exactly thrilled to be woken up by loud noises in the kitchen, causing her to at first assume someone decided to rob your home, only to then notice that you weren’t lying next to her, would be somewhat of an understatement.
“It’s three in the morning, what are you doing in the kitchen?”, she asked once she arrived in the room, only to catch you in the process of baking, treading around carefully so to not make another sound. Or at least that’s what you have been doing, before Shinobu’s voice caused you to startle and nearly drop the bowl in your hand.
“O-oh, so I did wake you up”, you thought out loud in barely more than a whisper, a sheepish grin on your face while you tried your best not to let her glare hurt you too much.
“Why are you whispering? Is there another person I don’t know living here, that you don’t want to wake up?”, she stated sarcastically, causing your face to get even redder in embarrassment. “Anyway, care to explain what’s so important that you have to bake it at three in the morning?”, she asked before you had a chance to answer her previous questions, not missing the chance to emphasize the time of day.
“Today’s your birthday… So, I wanted to surprise you with a cake first thing in the morning. I guess that didn’t work out as I planned”, you admitted, before adding another “Sorry for waking you up”. Now it was her time to get silent, and while she still couldn’t help but be annoyed at being woken up in the middle of the night, the new information made it easy for her to forgive you.
“What exactly are you baking? If you’re okay with telling me”, she asked, this time in a much softer voice.
“Well, we don’t want to ruin all the surprise, so all I can say is that it’s a cake. I thought about making cookies at first, but birthday-cookies sound a bit weird”, you told her with a small smile, being grateful that she wasn’t angry at you anymore, only for her face to suddenly change into that of confusion.
“Cookies?”
“Well, the plan was to surprise you with them and say something like: Would you like a Cookie, Shinobu?”, it took her tired brain a few seconds to comprehend your pun, causing her to blankly stare at you, but when she did, she couldn’t help but smile a bit at how bad it was, only to cover her reaction up with a sigh and a shake of her head.
“Well, I’m going back to bed. Try not to make too much noise, it’s still the middle of night.”

It's great to see your blog come so far! For the event, prompt 1 with Fischl
“Quit smiling at me, I can’t stop messing up my sentences when you look at me like that”
Characters: Fischl x gn!reader
Warnings: none
Genre: Fluff
This post is part of my 800 Follower event, if you’d like to request something for it yourself then check out the even on my blog before it’s too late
a/n: Fischl is exactly the character I thought of when putting this prompt on the list, so good job for requesting the right character my fellow simp. You may call yourself “Simpus Maximus” from now on /hj
Also, the Fischl speak might be a bit toned down, since writing the way Fischl speak is quite difficult, even with my newfound superpower of the Old-English-Translator
Anyway, thanks and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Fischl
You had known the Prinzessin der Verurteilung long before she had taken on that title or Oz joined her retinue, and while there weren’t a lot of moments where you’d get to see Amy the bookworm, who always found a place and time to dive headfirst into another novel and was almost never even seen without a book in her hand. Whenever your eyes landed on Fischl silently reading in the library, you’d never be too sure who exactly you were looking at.
Even though you knew her old self and thus where a reminder of who she was before she took on the Fischl-Persona, the Prinzessin liked having you around. You were her oldest and most loyal companion after all, and while you didn’t exactly encourage her as a younger child to act like the heroine in her favourite book, you never chided her for it and even played along, not wanting to ruin her mood. Sure, there were times when you found the way she acted or spoke comical or silly, but in those times, you’d simply put a huge smile on your face while trying your best not to make your amusement too obvious.
“Rejoice my loyal companion, for I made thou out to be fortunate enough to be honoured with mine presence!”, Fischl confidently declared the moment you were close enough to hear her without her having to speak even louder than she normally did.
“Good morning, your majesty. Good morning, Sir Oz”, you greeted them in return, a welcoming smile finding its way onto your lips. And while you weren’t too sure if you’d have used both of their titles even if Fischl had told you to meet her at the foot of the giant statue of Barbatos instead of outside Mondstadt, using them when no one else was around hurt nobody.
“You’re probably wondering why exactly mein Fräulein summoned you here to the middle of nowhere”, Oz calmly stated, and while, in all honesty, were already all too used to Fischl wanting to meet you in the middle of nowhere and didn’t even care anymore what her reasons were, outright telling them that would have been far from polite, so you instead chose to simply nod your head before seeing the Prinzessin strike one of her poses again.
“I hast summoned thou here, for I have-”, she began her speech, only to stop once she noticed that she had made a mistake, causing her to correct herself, “for I hast…”, this time her grand speech died down before it could even begin in earnest, leaving Fischl lost in thought, almost as if she was too busy trying to figure out the next words. Her eyes only stopping to stare into the air to sneak a few glances at you while opening her mouth but not making a single sound. “Quit smiling at me, I can’t stop messing up my sentences when you look at me like that!”, she almost yelled at you, the polite and elegant tone of the Prinzessin giving way for Amy.
“What mein Fräulein meant to say was: quit smiling upon me, I can’t forbear messing up mine sentences when thou look upon me like that”, Oz spoke up, imitating Fischl’s voice in an almost amused manner, causing you to be absolutely certain that if he had lips, they’d be curved in a wide grin.
“What smile are you talking about, your majesty?”, you asked, with the same grin plastered across your face that you’d always wear whenever you were amused by her behaviour. And while you honestly tried to stop smiling, seeing her break character like that in front of you caused it to only grow wider.
“Preposterous, laughing at thy Prinzessin like that! Doth thou hast no shame? Whatever! We hast a mission to complete and no time to waste. Follow me!”, Fischl shouted offended before turning around and marching into a direction, while signalling you and Oz to follow her.

hi henry, congratulations! for the event, may i request prompt 12 with ei? have a nice day!!
“Are you tired? Rest your head on my lap”
characters: Ei x gn!reader
warnings: mentions of self-doubt, but nothing else
genre: comfort, I think
a/n: This fic is part of my 800 Follower event, so if you'd like to request something before it's too late, feel free to check it out.
Okay, so you didn't mention what genre you wanted, so I may or may not have written comfort, I hope you're fine with it, if not, feel free to tell me and I'll try again.
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Ei
Even though you were the Archon’s significant other, you were a servant of the state foremost. And while there were certainly a lot more taxing jobs, Ei’s decision to open Inazuma for the first time in years left you and your colleagues with a lot of paperwork.
Ei knew that your workload had increased drastically, you had told her so herself after all, but when she hadn’t seen you the whole day, even though the two of you had spent the entire time in the same building, she started to worry about how much more work you were talking about, deciding to pay you a visit at the end of the day. And while she had drawn up a mental image of you overwork yourself, nothing could have prepared her for what exactly she saw once she opened your door.
“Oh, Ei. I didn’t expect you to pay me a visit at this hour”, you greeted her before shooting her a smile too sweet for how heavy your eyebags were, temporarily stopping filling out whatever paper lay in front of you, only to look back at it shortly afterwards.
It took the Archon a few seconds to process what exactly she was seeing, but once she did, she was almost certain that she didn’t like it. “I know that you told me you’d be working longer hours… but would you mind telling me why there is a tower of paperwork on your desk when I saw the others run around with nothing but a few slips of papers for the entirety of the day?”, Ei eventually asked, her voice making it obvious that your answer wouldn’t change whatever course of action she had already decided to take. You had naively hoped she wouldn’t name the big elephant in the room and had instead left you to finish the paperwork, but now you had no choice but to tell her what you would have liked to keep for yourself.
“I-I’m…”, you stuttered out while trying to buy yourself enough time to think of what words to choose. “I’m a public official, so filling out the necessary paperwork is my responsibility. Even if it’s a lot”, you decided to say the obvious, only to immediately notice how little impressed the Archon seemed by your response.
“That doesn’t answer why your workload seems quite a bit bigger than your colleagues”, she questioned you further, causing you to let out a defeated sigh.
“That’s because the Archon of Inazuma is my girlfriend. If the Almighty Shogun’s partner only worked as much as other public officials then the Shogun would have picked the most ordinary person available to be her life-partner”, you began speaking, only to let out another sigh before continuing, “I’m no renowned general or dragon-defeating traveller, I’m a person filling out paperwork, so the only way to differentiate myself from other people filling out paperwork, is to fill out more than any of them.”
Before you had even noticed, Ei had already made her way over to you before sitting down on your bed and silently signalling you to take a seat next to her. And while no words were spoken, it was clear that “no” wasn’t an acceptable answer. So, you complied, only for her to speak up shortly afterwards.
“Are you tired? Rest your head on my lap”, Ei didn’t need to wait for an answer to know the truth, your eyebags betraying you long before your words could. Nevertheless, you nodded your head before laying it down, only for her to immediately start softly running her hands through your hair while looking outside the window.
“Human lives tend not to be the longest, some people I knew would even say that they’re short. So the last thing I want is for you to spend it doing nothing but paperwork because you think you ought it to me or anyone else. I chose you, if I wanted a renowned general or a dragon-slaying traveller, I would have picked them, but I didn’t, so just close your eyes and relax”, Ei finished her speech before turning her head to face you, only to see that you were either quick to follow her command or had fallen asleep somewhere in the middle of her monologue. Nevertheless, you were finally sleeping, and with one quick movement she leaned down towards you and pressed a soft kiss on your forehead before starting to meditate herself.

Alright you simp, number 9 with Eula. Hope you have fun writing it!
“Just five more minutes”
Characters: Eula x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: This is, I think, the shortest fic for the event I have written so far, mostly because there isn’t much you can write about it. Also, if I recall correctly, there had been a similar prompt requested with Eula last event, I think it was called something along the lines of “Can we just stay in bed” or something, so while I tried to make this one different, I’m sorry if they’re too similar.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Eula
While Eula’s cold body temperature caused by her cryo vision brought some unusual problems when trying to cuddle with her in winter, having a huggable cooling system turned out to be like a gift from Barbatos himself in summer.
So, when nightfall came and you fell asleep next to her, it would never be long until your arms would wrap themselves around her. And while Eula would, and in fact did, be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy it, your arms proved to be a massive hindrance in the morning.
“Just five more minutes”, you begged half-asleep once you felt Eula try to get out of your arms, with her miraculously understanding your slurring, causing her to let out a sigh.
“You say this each morning, and each morning you refuse to let go even after the five minutes are over”, she responded, reminding you of your countless, broken promises, that resulted in her list of grievances against you to fill a whole book. But even with her reminder, you continued to beg for “just five more minutes”, over and over again, even while Eula tried to remove your arms, only for you to immediately wrap them back around her.
“Fine. 5 more minutes, but I swear on my honour as an aristocrat, if you refuse to let me go once the 5 minutes have passed, then I’ll have my Vengeance”, she threatened you after finally admitting defeat, only to lay back down and wait for the 5 minutes to pass, passing her time by looking at your sleeping face.
“Good, 5 minutes are over, time to let go”, she eventually announced, only for your grip to tighten once again.
“Just 5 more minutes, please-”, you barely had time to finish your request before Eula’s cold finger bore into your side, causing all the sleepiness in your body to mysteriously vanish while you put your hands on the spot she had just attacked. “Fine, fine, fine… How rude of you to wake someone up in this manner, without warning them, no less. I will have venge-”, you jokingly imitated her vengeance-talk, only to shut up the moment you saw her ready her next attack.

congratulations on 800 followers!! may i request “Aw, you’re blushing like a rose” with lisa
“Aw, you’re blushing like a rose”
Characters: Lisa x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: I planned on writing the Yoimiya one today, since her re-run is here, but I lost every possible “50/50”s on her bow and only got it after selling my kidney, so I suddenly don’t feel like writing for her anymore, tbh /hj.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Lisa
Lisa always had a gift to turn you into a blushing mess whenever she desired, seemingly instantly learning what to say or do to fluster you, only to realise just as quickly when a trick of hers lost its affect, causing her to search for your new weaknesses. There was almost no time you felt truly safe from her teasing, was it in public or especially in private, making you somewhat dread the possibility of being alone in a room with her.
Since the day the two of you had met, Lisa realised that your reactions were far too cute for her to just leave you be. Back then a simple “cutie” was enough to make your face heat up enough to keep an entire room warm during winter, and while she had to put a little bit more work into getting the same results nowadays, the rewards were just as satisfying.
“It’s nice to see that you are having such a nice time right now, but don’t you think it would be even better if the librarian of the Knights of Favonius helped her little helper sort the new books into the shelves instead of letting them do all of the work?”, you asked as you turned around towards Lisa, seeing her sit in her chair, just about to flip to the next page while taking a sip form her seemingly fiftieth cup of tea, causing her to look up from the book before giving you one of her usual smiles.
“Isn’t my moral support enough? You seemed to be doing a pretty good job on your own until now”, she questioned in response, only to stand up from her seat before you even had the chance to answer, surprising you much more than it should have. “Oh my, did me getting up to help you shock you that much? Well, I’ll inform you that I’m full of surprises”, the librarian remarked in her usual teasing tone, causing you to let out a sigh and slightly regret having ever disturbed her reading.
“That’s great to hear, but before surprising me even further I need you to take these books and put them in their place”, you stated, needlessly explaining Lisa the job that was hers to begin with, you only starting to do it when it became increasingly clear she had no intention to do so herself.
Lisa instantly went to take the books from your hands, accidentally putting her hands on yours, her teasing smile probably having absolutely nothing to do with her action. Nonetheless, you instinctively scanned the room for other people, only to realise to your horror that everyone else seemed to have left already, meaning that you were alone with the librarian once again. The realisation, coupled with her unintentional hand-grab, causing your cheeks to slightly heat up.
“Is something wrong, cutie? Your face is red, are you feeling sick?”, she asked innocently, only to press the back of her hand against your forehead, worsening your blush in the process, something you were sure she was aware of. “Yep, your forehead is feeling hot. How about you take a break and I make you a tea, don’t worry about being bored, you have me to pay you company after all”, Lisa suggested, instantly making you realise what was happening.
“You’re trying to get out of work again, aren’t you?”, you accused her with as much of a straight face as you could muster, only for her to smile at you once she turned back around after putting away the books that had once been in your hands.
“Maybe I am, but who can blame me? It would be a total waste not to chat with a cutie like you over a cup of tea, if we are already alone in a room together”, she responded, and while you had prided yourself on getting used to her nicknames, forcing Lisa to turn to more creative ways to make you blush, this time she got you with it, causing your face to heat up even more. “Aw, you’re blushing like a rose. I’m going to take that as a yes to the question if you’re interested in a little chat”, she continued to tease you, only for you to let out a defeated sigh before taking a seat opposite of hers.

Congrats on 800!!!
I was wondering if I could request prompt 13 with jean
Just thought it would fit nice with jeans workaholism
“Just five more minutes-”
Characters: Jean x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: Aaaaaaaaaand we're back with my 800 Follower event
I love Jean, she may have a lot of issues when it comes to self-worth and is like people say being an adult is like, just dialled up to eleven, but she canonically likes reading romance novels, and idk why, but that makes me love her with every cell of my body, and I’ll block anyone that says something bad about her /j
Also, this one's a bit shorter, but I hope you don't mind
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Jean
While Jean appreciated all the work you put into making sure she didn’t overwork herself too much, urging her to take small breaks outside the knight’s headquarters every now and then and forcing her to leave work at an hour earlier than before, making it possible for her to actually get some sleep instead of relying on coffee all the time, something that she welcomed with open arms, since it had long stopped working, she was still what you’d call “a workaholic”, waking up early in the morning and leaving for work not too long after you yourself woke up.
And while the hardest part about waking up so early was to overcome the desire to instantly close your eyes again, the second hardest thing was undoubtedly getting out of your embrace and the bed without waking you up, something that became more difficult with each day as your hugs grew tighter, your sleeping body seemingly also not being the biggest fan of letting her go to work so early.
“Just five more minutes-”, you murmured out as Jean tried her best to remove your arms without waking you up, obviously having failed this time around. But when she turned her head around to look at you, she realised that calling you half-awake would have been far from the truth, as you made no attempts to move or open your eyes.
Seeing that you were still asleep should have made Jean continue her attempt to slip out of bed and ready herself for work, instead she found herself silently stare at you for a few seconds, thinking about how cute you sleep-talking was, only to quickly regret doing so when you put your arms around her again.
“Just five more minutes”, you repeated yourself, this time sounding a bit more conscious, and while your eyelids still felt too heavy for you to open them, your brain gradually began to wake up, although you were still far from being anywhere near awake.
“Don’t worry, you can continue sleeping for however long you want. But Mondstadt needs me”, she softly whispered, not wanting to wake you up even further, only for your arms to tighten even more around her.
“But I also need you… feel lonely when you’re at work… five more minutes, please…”, you once again murmured out half-asleep, causing Jean to feel a sting of guilt. And while it was almost terrifying that you managed to make such a good argument when you weren’t even awake enough to fully say it out loud, she eventually relented and laid back down for “five more minutes”.
She’d be almost two hours late for work that day.

Congrats on 800 people making a mistake, including myself!
To celebrate this momentous occasion, I shall request the "You're cute when your angry" prompt for the tsundere astrologist herself, Mona.
“You’re cute when you’re angry“
Characters: Mona x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: Mona's absolutely one of my favourite characters. I love the way she speaks about her old master, it's funny and makes me really hope that we'll get to meet that old hag once the traveller's journey takes them to Fountain. I imagine it would be quite funny to hear her side of the story.
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Mona
Mona paid a lot of attention to try and preserve her reputation as the genius astrologer from far away, and while those close to her might have had a slightly different impression of her, as long as they kept silent in public and played along with her whenever it was time for her to introduce herself to a new person, she didn’t really mind.
You, however, were surprisingly good at making her angry, was by it intentionally testing how far you could take your teasing before she snapped, or by accidentally saying the wrong thing. Luckily for you, if there was one thing you were better at than making her angry, it was somehow calming her down again. And while you weren’t too sure if it had anything to do with what you did or just with the fact that Mona seemingly couldn’t stay angry at you for a long time, you chose not to question it too much.
To say that you still remembered what exactly caused Mona to start lecturing you would have been a lie. But if you had to guess, your money would have been on your teasing, that’s what usually made her start to ramble about how the greatest astrologer in Teyvat deserved to be respected. At first, you chose to actually listen to what she had to say, only to stop doing so the moment you realised she said the same things she always did, only for her to get more agitated by your lack of attention. But the angrier she got, the more distracted you became, focussing on her expressions and gestures instead of her words.
“You’re cute when you’re angry”, you eventually interrupted the astrologer, causing her to instantly get silent, silently staring at you like what you said was the stupidest thing she ever heard in her life.
“…Seriously? That’s all you have to say as your defence?”, she finally spoke up, her voice betraying her confusion as much as her still slightly red face.
“I’m not defending myself; I’m simply stating facts. Who knows, maybe I’d tease you less if you weren’t”, you joked, only to immediately notice her ball her hands into fists.
“What? Are you saying your behaviour is my fault now?”
“Now you’re jumping to conclusions, I never said that. Look, if you’re still angry, how about we go to Good Hunter and I buy you a meal as an apology”, you offered, letting out an inner sigh of relief once you saw her relax a bit.
“Are you trying to bribe me with food?”, she accused you once again, only for you to immediately shake your head.
“It’s almost insulting how little you think of me, Miss Megistus. You told me yourself that trying to bribe an astrologist is useless, so why should I attempt to bribe the greatest of them all? It’s simply meant as a way for me to apologise”, you responded, your somewhat obvious flattery miraculously working as Mona’s features finally relaxed completely. “Alternatively, I could try and buy you something for your astrology, but I highly doubt I’d find anything you don’t already have. Especially since I don’t exactly know a lot about it”, you added, only to shut up when you saw her slightly shake her head.
“No, it’s fine, I prefer buying them myself. But fine, I accept your offer, let’s head to Good Hunter. Once there I’ll teach you how to respectfully treat a genius astrologer as me, and you better take notes”, she stated, trying her best to hide how much she looked forward to the food, only her the speed with which she marched in the restaurant’s direction to betray her.
“Of course, Miss Megistus”, you silently muttered to yourself before following her, choosing not to push your luck any further by teasing her about it, and to instead enduring whatever she had planned for you.

Ah, I see I was a bit late on the draw with my request. Oh well, c’est la vie!
In that case could I please get prompt 7 with Kokomi?
“Shush and go back to bed”
Characters: Kokomi x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
This post is part of my 800 Follower event, if you’re interested in reading more fics belonging to it, you can find them on my blog under the tag #JustASimp’sSimpingEvent
a/n: I... didn't write for my event in quite some time, so I'll try to do that more frequently from now on, no promises though.
If this isn't what you envisioned or you simply aren't happy with it, just tell me what to do different and I'll try again.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Kokomi
Kokomi was a great leader, strategist, and over-all person, never refusing someone asking her for help, no matter how much she had worked before or how tired she was. But while her kindness was noted by everyone around her and certainly helped her get the great reputation she had among the residents of Watatsumi Island, it also meant that she’d often come home without any energy.
And so, you’d take it upon yourself to at least help her with the smaller tasks so she could focus on important matters. And while that in itself already helped her immensely, there were still times there was too much work for her to finish.
When you found Kokomi passed out by her desk, pen still in hand and paper in front of her, your first reaction was to let out a small sigh. This wasn’t the first time you found her like that and very likely wouldn’t be the last, but before you could spend even more time debating how to help her, you decided to try carrying her to bed without waking her, only to take her place at the desk once you succeeded, trying to finish as much of her paperwork while she was asleep and ease her burden just a little bit. But before you got too far, you were interrupted by the sound of the door opening, causing you to glance towards it, only to be greeted by Kokomi looking at you with a tired look.
Just as the divine priestess opened her mouth to say something, you cut in, knowing too well that once she’d be able to make an argument for why she should be the one doing her work, you’d probably feel compelled to agree, and so you forced yourself to interrupt her in the most decisive tone you could muster, “Shush and go back to bed.”
Once again, she was about to respond, only for you to force yourself to repeat the process, and while you couldn’t help but feel extremely bad about it, you just wanted her to recharge her energy without worrying about work.
“Kokomi, let me finish this for you. You may overwork yourself again tomorrow, but not today, so either prepare to go and take the longest nap of your life or to call the guards, because I’m not going anywhere”, you declared, only for Kokomi to stand there in silence for a few moments before you once again glanced up to her, only to see her with a book about strategy in hand, suddenly making you realise why exactly she was here, causing your face to heat up slightly.
“That’s really nice of you and I won’t stop you, but could you maybe read me something out of this first? You don’t have to, but it would make taking a nap much easier and more enjoyable”, she asked, obviously still feeling exhausted. The last thing you could refuse was to help her, so you begrudgingly stood up before walking back to bed with her, fully intending to be by her side until she fell asleep and then returning to doing work.
By the end of the hour, both of you had long fallen asleep.

congrats on 800 followers 🥳 how about “Wait, you think I’m cute” with keqing ?
“Wait, you think I’m cute?”
Characters: Keqing x gn!reader
Warnings: none
Genre: fluff
Summary: Like always you and Keqing argue about your convictions, only for you to call her cute in the heat of the moment
This request is part of my 800 Follower event, if you want to request something yourself before it's too late, check out the event announcement on my blog.
a/n: Keqing is definitely one of the characters of all time /j. I don’t think too often about her, but whenever I write/read about her I’m immediately start simping for her, but just a little bit. So… thanks, I guess.
Also, totally unrelated of course, if anyone has tipps how to build keqing, feel free to send them to my inbox /hj
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Keqing
Keqing and you had a lot of things in common. Both of you had a strong work-ethic — and while you weren’t a workaholic by any definition of the work, you never failed to reliably finish whatever task was assigned to you — both of you wanted to better Liyue and neither of you were afraid to say and defend their opinion.
But while having similarities was a good thing most of the time, your different views on how to make Liyue a better place, combined with your reluctance to budge on them proofed to be a perfect recipe for heated arguments.
When you had walked into the Yuheng’s office, with paperwork relating to important topics in your hand, you couldn’t help but notice her secretary strategically positioning themselves right next to the door, almost as if to dip the moment you and her boss would start to argue. As far as you knew people directly working underneath Keqing wouldn’t stay for long, resigning or requesting to be transferred after a few weeks at best, so seeing how this one had already grown so accustomed to your interactions with her boss that she devised a plan to vanish once things got heated brought a small smile on your face.
“Is it something important or can I finish talking with my secretary first?”, she asked, only make up her mind the moment she laid eyes on the documents in your hand, asking the person already stationed next to the door to leave the two of you alone for a few minutes.
What was supposed to be a civil discussion regarding a small choice for which decorations to use for the next festival, quickly turned yet again into an unnecessarily long and heated argument. And while it at first had at least something to do with the decorations and the festival, by the end of it neither of you remembered what even started it.
“Without Rex Lapis, there wouldn’t be a Liyue to govern in the first place”, you angrily responded to Keqing’s remark, your blood boiling to a level that you probably wouldn’t be able to calm down for the next couple of days, only for the Yuheng to immediately counter in a similarly upset manner.
“Rex Lapis is no longer with us, or did you forget what the whole ‘Rite of Parting’ thing was even about?”
“Why in Rex Lapis’ name does someone as cute as you have to be as stubborn as a mule? It’s almost making it go to waste”, you asked yourself aloud, your much quieter voice still betraying your frustration.
Keqing herself was just about to chastise you for comparing her with a mule when she suddenly went silent, having realised what exactly you said, causing her to stare at you surprised. “Wait, you think I’m cute?”, over the years people had called her many things: uptight, intimidating and too taxing on her secretaries, but being called “cute” was a new thing.
It took you a few seconds do realise what she was talking about, but once you did you answered without hesitation. “What, did you think I was blind or something? Just because we argue doesn’t mean that I’m-”, you were in the process of doubling down, only to shut up the moment you noticed the blush on her face, causing the room to fill with awkward silence as the two of you finally sat down again, not even being able to remember when you the heat of the argument caused you to stand up.
Why are you blushing? You asked yourself, catching you almost asking it her out loud, instead going through all the possible reasons in your head. Did she- Did she think I was trying to hit on her? You suddenly began to panic, only to calm yourself down shortly afterwards. That was impossible, this was Keqing you were talking about. If she had interpreted your comment as you trying to hit on her in the middle of one of your heated arguments, she’d probably be beating your face in right now, or at least would have thrown you out of her office. But if that was the case, why was she blushing?
“Ahem, how about… a compromise?”, you eventually broke the awkward silence, deciding that you didn’t want to overthink the situation even more. “There can be traditional and modern decoration, that should make everyone happy”, you suggested, your voice getting more and more silent with every word that came out of your mouth. You would have been able to gauge her feelings about your proposals, if you were actually looking at her instead of trying to hide your own, increasingly warmer-feeling, face by staring anywhere but at her.
“That… should do. I’ll fill out the necessary paperwork. W-We can discuss it further tomorrow or some other time”, she responded, trying to sound as much as possible like her usual self, only for her occasional stutters to butcher her delivery. “Have a nice day”, she added while you were on your way to the door, causing you to stop for a moment and return the favour before closing the door.
“H-have a nice day.”

hey congrats on 800 followers!! may i request “No, sorry, you laughed. I … I never saw it before. It’s- pretty” + shenhe? 🥰🥰💕
“No sorry, you laughed. I-… I never saw it before. It’s- pretty”
Characters: Shenhe x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: At first I thought about making Shenhe say this line, since I wasn’t too sure if she’d ever do something as laugh (you know, red strings), but I doubt that’s what you wanted when you requested this prompt, so I did my best to both follow your request and keep Shenhe as much in character as I could.
I hope this matches what you wished for, if not, tell me and I'll try again
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Shenhe
Before Shenhe met you, her red ropes made sure she’d get to feel either no emotions at all, or very watered-down versions of them, causing her to not even notice them most of the time. And while it would have been plain wrong to say that you solved that problem, calling the things she felt for you anything other than “emotions” felt just as wrong.
The more you got to know each other, the stronger they got, and even though she knew well enough that they’d never be as strong as those normal humans felt in their everyday lives, compared to the almost complete lack of them before she met you, the slight hint of happiness Shenhe felt whenever she heard you laugh, was more than enough.
Even though Shenhe didn’t hesitate for long before accepting when you asked her to accompany you to take care of your little sibling, having been spontaneously asked yourself when both your parents had important tasks they had to leave for, she couldn’t help but feel completely out of place. While your sibling and you were busy playing with each other, causing the room to be filled with laughter, she silently watched over the two of you while standing in the corner, trying her best not to interrupt you two having fun.
But while she did feel like her presence was completely unnecessary and you two would have been better of without the emotionless form standing in the corner of the room, with how much you laughed and had fun, Shenhe couldn’t help but feel that pleasant feeling grow once again in her chest. Only for her to open her mouth in a rare moment of curiosity and imitate your laughter, wanting to try out if it really felt good enough to justify your excessive use of it, only to immediately stop once the first sound came out of her mouth, deciding that she’d rather not remind you of her presence.
But it was already too late, as your wide-eyed stare bore into her, completely ignoring your sibling as they tripped over a small toy and where on their way to faceplant into the ground, only for Shenhe to rush over in an instance and catch them by the arm, saving them from an unpleasant experience. And as you were busy trying to make sure everything was fine, and your sibling kept staring at her with their eyes full of wonder, Shenhe turned her face towards you.
“Is something wrong? You suddenly stopped paying attention to your sibling and stared at me”, she asked with her usual voice devoid from emotions, only for your face to immediately heat up as you kept glancing to your sibling, seemingly arguing with yourself if you wanted to ask them to leave to room or not, only for them to quickly catch on and walk to the other side of the room, pretending to search for one of their toys.
“No sorry, you laughed. I-… I never saw it before. It’s- pretty”, you silently stuttered out, causing Shenhe to once again stare at you in silence while the slightest hint of a feeling that mostly matched your description of embarrassment slowly crept up on her. And while it was far too little to make her face heat up or even make her face flinch, she nonetheless looked away, deciding to leave the topic be and return to what she did before.
All in all, watching over your sibling with you wasn’t as bad as she feared, although she couldn’t help but be surprised when you’d tell her days later how all they would talk about to your parents was how cool the white-haired woman was.

First off, congrats on the 800 milestone! You deserve every follower and then some!
As for your event, might I request prompt 14 with Ayaka?
“May I have this dance?”
Characters: Ayaka x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
This post is part of my 800 Follower event, if you'd like to read more fics belonging to it, you can find them on my blog under the tag #JustASimp'sSimpingEvent
a/n: I love Ayaka, the memories of pulling for her may be enough to trigger my ptsd, but she's a member of the holy trinity of cute cryo ladies, so I don't regret it.
This fic might be shorter than others (or maybe it's not, idk), but it's 3 am where I live and I wanted to finish it before falling asleep, so I decided to make it a shorter one.
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Ayaka
Watching Ayaka dance without being in awe was as impossible as breathing under the water for you. She was far too beautiful while doing so for you not to, and while her dance wasn’t the most eventful or spectacular thing in the world, it still filled you with a desire to dance with her. There was only one problem stopping you from fulfilling that desire: You couldn’t dance.
But just because your family had missed the opportunity to hire a dance instructor to teach you like some other, wealthier families might have done, didn’t mean you’d gave up on your dream, choosing to instead try and learn how to dance as an adult. And while you were still far from being able to be considered good, you had made a lot of progress, resulting in you probably being good enough to maybe fool someone into thinking you were decent, as long as they didn’t look at your feet, that was.
The moment you spotted Ayaka approaching you, a large smile crept onto your face, only to be immediately followed by you waving towards her, causing her to return the gesture with a much smaller one that was more suitable for a princess than whatever you had been doing.
“I hope me asking you to meet here wasn’t too sudden. We can still go back to the estate if you’d like, I just thought meeting you at our usual spot would be more in line with our previous meetings”, you greeted her, not missing her smile during your little speech.
“Don’t worry, Chinju Forest is beautiful in this time of the year, so visiting it is never a bad experience”, Ayaka quickly responded before the two of you began strolling along your usual route through the forest. “If it’s okay for me to ask, is there a reason you wanted to meet me or did you simply wish to see me?”, her curiosity eventually got the better of her. And while she knew that you probably had your reason for asking her to meet at your usual spot out of nowhere, you admitting that you just wanted to see her would probably have been enough to fill her with happiness for the rest of the week.
“Would you believe me if I said I was too scared to walk through Chinju Forest alone?”, you jokingly asked, only for her to shake her head with her lips curled into a small smile, only for you to suddenly grow serious. “To be honest, there is a reason I asked to meet you today. I know I promised that I’d attend the dance next week with you, but there have been a lot of orders lately, so I’m pretty sure that I won’t be able to actually find the time to do so”, you admitted, only for Ayaka’s smile to also vanish.
“Oh”, she eventually managed for a sound to escape her mouth, only to grow silent immediately afterwards, seemingly loosing herself in thought.
“It’s probably for the better. I may have gotten better at dancing, but I’m still far from decent. I probably would have only embarrassed the both of us”, you tried to make the situation sound better, only for Ayaka to remain unresponsive for a few more moments before eventually turning to you and reaching out her hand.
“If that’s the case, may I have this dance?”, she asked, her lips once again in a smile. But while she had come up with the idea spontaneously, she hadn’t exactly considered how it would seem to you, so when she saw you stare at her with a slightly confused look, she started to search for ways to backpaddle. “I thought that since we wouldn’t be able to dance next week, we might as well do so now. You don’t have to if you don’t want to-”, she began to explain, only to shut up when you suddenly grabbed her hand, causing her to finally look up from the floor and find you smiling at her.
“Sure, but just remember that I wasn’t lying when I said I’m still far from being considered decent. So, I’m sorry if I accidentally step on your foot one, two or maybe a dozen times.”

Congrats on the 8 Hundo!! Your writing's been a joy to read ^ ^! can we get a prompt 6 with Amber? Love that funky fire bunny archer
“I remember practising how to ask you out in front of the mirror”
Characters: Amber x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
This post is part of my 800 Follower event, if you'd like to read more post belonging to the event, you can find them under the tag #JustASimp'sSimpingEvent on my blog
a/n: I can't put in words how much I love Amber. She was definitely one of my favourite characters in the beginning and I love her as much as I hate Hoyoverse for making her gameplay so… eugh. I could probably build her and have a decent time, but I could also just place her into my teapot to farm friendship levels… hmm.
I didn’t write for Amber in some time, so if she’s a bit ooc, then I’m very sorry. But I think this should be at least decent
Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Amber
You’d often run into Amber doing her work for the knights of Favonius, be it patrolling the areas around Mondstadt or accidentally nearly giving you a heart-attack by suddenly appearing in the tree next to you, looking out for potential threats. Whenever you did, the two of you would talk for as long as the outrider could without remembering that she was on duty at the moment.
You quickly found yourself admiring the way she managed to talk to complete strangers as if they had been friends for years, remembering how frantically you went through all your memories the first time the two of you spoke, trying to remember if you two knew each other in your childhood and you just forgot who exactly she was, only to find out later that you had actually never met.
Like most days you found yourself in the middle of the woods, searching for mushrooms, berries, and all kinds of other, possible ingredients for lunch. Sure, you could have just bought them in the market square of Mondstadt and be done with, making your job much easier, but where’d be the fun in that? Just as you picked up another mushroom that would be perfect for chicken-mushroom-skewer and where about to put it in your basket, you heard someone call out your name, causing your head to instantly turn in the direction the sound was coming from.
“Oh, Amber, I didn’t expect to run into you here of all places. Are you on duty again?”, you asked once she was near enough to hear you, your lips curved into a welcoming smile. Seeing Amber while foraging in the woods wasn’t exactly a rare sight, she was an outrider after all… well, the outrider, to be more precise. What caught you off-guard was her shaking her head in response.
“Well, it makes sense that you’d assume that, after all I usually am. But no, not today. I saw you walk into the forest alone and thought I might as well keep you some company, you know, to make sure that you wouldn’t get hurt by wild boars or wolfs”, Amber responded with a wide, shining smile before striking a proud pose.
“Wow, what a responsible knight you are, sacrificing your own free time to make sure your fellow citizens don’t get harmed”, you stated jokingly, causing the outrider to play along and nod while humming in approval.
It didn’t take the two of you to start your usual routine again, talking about all kinds of stuff, from what happened the past few days, to what you were going to cook with your found ingredients, and even just a few funny stories, causing the two of you to end up as nothing but laughing messes. When you finally calmed down, you suddenly felt the atmosphere get a bit more serious, causing you to glance to Amber to see what she was up to, only to find her check her surroundings before turning back to you.
“Hey, would you mind if I asked you something?”, she eventually asked, her somewhat more serious tone still managing to catch you off-guard. Nevertheless, you quickly answered her question, telling her she could ask you whatever she wanted whenever she wanted, only for Amber to bombard you with both questions and information, her fast talking making it hard to understand everything. Whenever you managed to decipher one sentence, she had already thrown three more your way.
“Wait, Amber… slow down, please”, you eventually cut her off, your head starting to hurt from all the attempts to understand her ramble. “I can’t understand half of what you were saying”, you eventually added, putting down your basket and using your hands to massage your temples.
“I’m sorry, I remember practising how to ask you out in front of the mirror, but it seems like I didn’t account the effect of being nervous”, she apologised, causing you to immediately wave your hand in dismissal.
“No problem, I’m also not good with dealing with nervou-”, you were about to answer, only to stop yourself in the middle of the sentence. “Wait… Ask me out?”, you repeated, not being sure if you heard her right.
“Yes, I thought that I could show you how to build a baron bunny—the non-explosive kind of, course—or just go out to eat something at Good Hunter, if that’s what you’d like more”, she explained, unintentionally making your brain stop for a couple of seconds, causing you to blankly stare at her for a few seconds, making the outrider start to worry.
“Like… as friends?”, you found yourself once again asking, wanting to make absolutely sure you didn’t misunderstand her. Amber was a kind and outgoing person, one whose way of speaking made even total strangers wonder if they really didn’t knew her and weren’t actually best friends, so her asking you out as friends didn’t seem too farfetched.
“No…”, she answered, only to quickly add something, while flaying her arms in front of her “Well, if you’d like to be just friends instead that would be totally fine too. I wouldn’t want to force you into something you didn’t want.”
You stood there in silence for a couple of seconds, trying to comprehend what she had just said, only to quickly stutter out an answer when you noticed the look of worry on her face, “O-oh sure. Sorry, I was just t-trying to make sure I didn’t misunderstand anything.”
Amber’s face immediately lit up, her smile bigger than any you had ever seen before. “Great! Are you free tomorrow afternoon?”, she asked, only for you to nod in response. “Then how about I’ll show you then how to build yourself a plushie as amazing as baron bunny?”, she suggested, smiling even brighter when you accepted her proposal, before saying her good-byes and waltzing-off, waving you until you could no longer see her, leaving both of you excited for the next day.

“No, sorry, you laughed. I… I never saw it before. It’s- pretty”
Characters: Eula x gn!reader
Warnings: mentions of alcohol (bc Mondstadt), nothing else, just fluff
This post is part of my 800 Follower Event, if you'd like to read other post belonging to the Event you can find them on my blog under the tag #JustASimp'sSimpingEvent
a/n: I accidentally answered this request when I posted the other Eula fic, so I have to use a screenshot to show the ask in my inbox.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Eula
While people who only knew Eula because she was a Lawrence might have said that her sense of humour was… rather unique, if they even realised that she had one and didn’t assume she meant everything she said 100% seriously, that is, you had grown rather accustomed to it. It may have took you some time to realise that you weren’t necessarily in trouble whenever she swore to take vengeance on you, once you did you couldn’t help but smile whenever you heard her say what had basically become her catchphrase.
But no matter how hilarious something might appear to her, due to her upbringing the most you’d get out of her was a smile or chuckle, never once having seen her laugh more than just a simple “Ha”.
Managing to order something to drink whenever the green alcoholic bard decided to play something in exchange for alcohol, while difficult enough, was hardly as much of a nightmare as bringing the two mugs back to your table, having to depend on nothing but luck and your ability to predict whatever movements the drunkards around you would make. But when you finally came back to where you had sat before going on your adventure, Eula seemed awfully focused on whatever the boy was singing, seemingly enjoyed it.
“Are you enjoying the music?”, you asked with a big smile before putting down the drink in front of her, only for her to turn her face back to you.
“As much as a Lawrence can enjoy a song mocking their family’s history”, was her response, and while her words might have made others think that she wanted nothing more than for it to stop, her tone and look made it rather obvious that there was at least one Lawrence that seemed to like it.
“I have a feeling that the jokes only make sense to those that know a bit about the recorded history of the Lawrence clan, so I’m probably not this song’s targeted audience”, you admitted before finally sitting back down on the chair.
“You should let yourself educate about what terrible things we have done and how dangerous we still are today, maybe then you’d finally realise that drawing my ire is a bad idea”, Eula joked before taking her first sip of the night.
Apparently, songs about the Lawrence clan were just what the bar’s visitors liked, since after the first song finally ended, almost all following one’s were about the same subject. And while you didn’t understand most of the events referenced, your parents having decided that telling their small child about horrible crimes from centuries ago, probably wasn’t a great recipe for good dreams, there whenever you did understand something, you couldn’t help but chuckle.
While Eula herself seemed to find most of the jokes amusing herself, and the few drinks she had since the first song certainly did a good job at making her more open about what was going on in her head, there hadn’t been a single laughter from her part. Or so it was, until the two of you were in the middle of a small conversation, only for her to overhear a joke about how great the upbringing of the Lawrence clan probably was, causing her to break out in laughter. You immediately became stopped talking, trying to memorise her laugh within just the second or two it lasted, knowing full well that it would probably be a long time until you got to hear it again.
“Are you okay? Why did you stop talking? Don’t tell me you’re choking on something, you can’t die before I managed to have my vengeance”, she asked, and although she was obviously joking, Eula still seemed slightly worried, only to relax a bit when you finally responded after silently staring at her for a few moments.
“No, sorry, you laughed. I… I never saw it before. It’s- pretty”, you blurted out, only for your face to heat up when you realised what had just come out of your mouth. “J-just forget I said anything, that was probably the alcohol”, you backpaddled, only to shut up once again when you saw Eula shake her head.
“No, no. Taking back what you said to an aristocrat is not an option, although you better really think what you said, since flattery alone won’t save you from my vengeance. The last kind of person I need around me is a sycophant”, Eula stated in her usual dramatic way, only to smile once she saw you shily nod your head in response. “Now back to the important matter at hand. How shall we make that bard pay for ridiculing my clan?”, she changed the subject after looking back at the increasingly drunk bard in green.
“We could buy him another drink. The hangover he’ll suffer tomorrow will be his punishment”, you jokingly suggested, deciding that playing along was the best course of action to make you forget your little slip-up. Your ‘plan’ instantly catching Eula’s attention, who turned back to you with a big smile.
“Great idea, that will show him.”

For the follower event, could I request "Aw, you're blushing like a rose!" with Yoimiya? We all know how excited she can get, but do you ever wonder how shy she can get?
Also congrats on 800 followers! That's more than I can count on my fingers, so that's a lot! And here's to achieving many more milestones!
“Aw, you’re blushing like a rose!”
Characters: Yoimiya x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: I-… I would be more worried if you could count up to 800 on your fingers, anon. Yoimiya was my first 5 star (technically Qiqi, but we don’t talk about that) and writing this may or may not have made me remember how much I love her. So, congrats for single-handedly making me change my theme!
I hope what I wrote matches what you envisioned, if not, please tell me and I'll try again.
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Yoimiya
If you, or anyone else for that matter, had to describe Yoimiya in as few words as possible, they’d be “talkative, happy and extroverted”, after all there would only be a few times when none of those three words fitted her current behaviour. So whenever you witnessed her differ from her usual self, it caused you to either feel some kind of amazement at seeing that sight of her, or a lot of worry.
Like on most days on which you had nothing important to do, you found yourself spending time with Yoimiya, walking across the countryside, searching for a good spot to test out her new fireworks while talking about all kinds of things. And while you were amazed that you hadn’t run out of conversation-topics yet, even after doing your routine for the seemingly thousandth time, you two had probably talked about some things more than once without realising—something that didn’t really matter, since conversations with Yoimiya were more about the talking itself than the topic.
When Yoimiya finished her story about a funny thing that happened to her recently, you couldn’t help but let out a laugh, only to nearly let the crate containing the fireworks fall out of your hands, quickly catching it in the air before continuing to walk towards the spot the two of you had found not so long ago, silently thinking about what funny thing you could tell her in exchange. While there were a lot of things you could have talked about, you weren’t too sure if you hadn’t already told them in the past, causing you to continue search your memories for an amusing one, only to let out a small sound when you did, instantly drawing Yoimiya’s attention.
“Oh! Stop me when you already heard this one, but did I tell you what happened to me the last time I visited Konda village?”, you began, continuing once Yoimiya shook her head. You talked for such a long time that you were surprised you hadn’t tripped over something in the meantime, eventually ending your story while trying your best to hold in your laughter. “She really thought that the two of us are a couple. I mean can you ima-”, you were close to breaking out in laughter when you noticed how silent she had become, causing you to look in her direction, only for her to turn her head before you could see her face. “Yoimiya?”, you asked, being confused by her behaviour.
“Ehe. Yeah, that’s so weird”, she commented after letting out a nervous giggle before looking back in front of her, making sure she didn’t trip over something and let the fireworks fall, finally letting you see her face again, only to notice how red it was.
“Aw, you’re blushing like a rose!”, your mouth worked faster than your brain. Your excitement at seeing her blushing causing your words to sound a lot more teasing than intended.
Yoimiya immediately opened her mouth to say something, only for your brain to finally activate and you to speak up once more. “Sorry, that came out wrong. Let me try again”, you stated in a panic, not wanting her to think you were making fun of her. “Your face is red, is everything fine?”, you eventually managed to correct yourself, only to immediately cringe at how cheesy that sounded.
To your surprised, Yoimiya let out a laugh, seemingly finding your panic and subsequent change in demeanour somewhat funny, causing you to immediately stop whatever inner dialogue you had with yourself and turn your attention towards her again.
“Let’s bring the fireworks to the spot as fast as possible, we can continue talking once we are there”, she suggested, and while her cheeks were still red, her smile had returned to her face.
