Koncert se uskutečnil ve čtvrtek 25. dubna ve Sboru kněze Ambrože církve československé husitské a byl nejen poděkováním pro dobrovolnice z řad Dobrotet, ale také pro celý zdravotní personál Dětské kliniky Fakultní nemocnice v Hradci Králové. 

“Tento den jsme se jako Dobrotety z Královéhradeckého kraje rozhodly pořádat koncert pro Dětskou kliniku Fakultní nemocnice Hradec Králové a to také u příležitosti blížícího se Mezinárodního dne rodin předčasně narozených dětí, který vychází na 5. května. S Dětskou klinikou spolupracujeme  již pět let, za tu dobu jsme předaly pro oddělení spoustu potřebného materiálu. Naše dobrovolnice podporují na klinice maminky předčasně narozených dětí. Za pět let jsme se snažili podpořit 450 maminek a 500 miminek. Tento rok se nám podařilo koupit mnoho darů a to díky ČSOB, jejichž projekt “Team Blue” právě pro nás přinesl krásných 44,000,-Kč.  Díky těmto penězům jsme mohli na celou Dětskou kliniku nakoupit 23 krásných velkých hodin, ale i dalších potřebných věcí jako kojící polštáře a deky” sdělila hlavní dobroteta Eva Kolářová.

Za ČSOB přišly projekt “Team Blue” přiblížit Aneta a Denisa. “Naším mottem je : “Míříme na měsíc, i když nedoletíme skončíme mezi hvězdami.” Tento rok se uskutečnila již čtvrtá výzva tohoto projektu určená nám zaměstnancům vysportovat pro potřebné tolik důležité peníze. My z call centra jsme nachodili kilometry v Peci pod Sněžkou a nachozené kilometry byly proměněny na peníze, které byly poskytnuty Dobrotetám. Jsme rádi, že jsme mohli podpořit dobrou věc a opět si to i za rok rádi zopakujeme”.

Těsně před koncertem přípravných oddělení Pueri primi, Pueri novi a Pueri scholari, které spadají pod Boni Pueri , obdržela vrchní sestra Dětské kliniky Jitka Nováková z rukou Dobrotet přehozy na inkubátory a deky. Zároveň využila této příležitosti a poděkovala Dobrotetám za jejich dlouholetou přízeň a pomoc jak pro předčasně narozená miminka, ale také maminky.

Junior Glass Ways 2017 competition

The International Competition of Glass Schools “Junior Glass Ways 2017”

Members of Jury: Ivo Křen (Glass collection Museum Pardubice), Lukáš Jabůrek (Moser Karlovy Vary), Jitka Kamencová Skuhravá (glass artist and designer), Eva Nováková (Ways of Glass in Sázava)

 Competition is organized in 2 categories:

Junior for students of secondary schools and Senior for students of higher schools. Each category will be awarded with 3 prizes + 1 special award for excellent craftsmanship.

 Aims of the Competition

The Competition is organized in order to motivate students of glass art and design in their further development in field of original creative work and in order to support glass education. The competition is at the same time an extraordinary opportunity for meeting of glass students and teachers and showing results of their work to public, experts and everyone involved in glass art and glass making. The event will be recorded and reflected in specialized magazines as well as promoted in media and special website.

 Proposition

1/ Management of school sends application for the whole institution together with filled form of student’s statement. Final number of participants from each school will be precise after completing all applications. Number of all participants is 50 to 60. If the number of all applicants will be higher than 50 the director of competition will rate proportion of participants number for each school.

 2/ Selection of participants is in competence of schools. The school may enlist only people who are current students of the school.  Each students participates with one work or compact set created within regular school work. The work should represent the school’s specific character. Works combining glass with other materials are admitted. There is no limit in theme or purpose of works. Main criterion is quality and artistic contribution of the work. Please consider the fact that installation space is limited. If the works need special installation please consult it in advance.

3/ After selecting participants school sends electronic application and students‘ statements to director of the competition indicating category, name of a student, age, name of work, technique with picture enclosed. Pictures are necessary for preparing exhibition, printed materials and portfolio available for media. Photos are send with image title indicating work in following format: Surname, Name, Title of Work, and Technique. E-mail communication preferred. Photos may be sent in Jpg via e-mail deposit, attached to e-mail or via classic mail on CD. Please do not send PdF or scanned application forms.

4/ Schools are responsible for transport of works and representatives who will take part in the event to the place and back. Installation will be held on Friday March 3, 2017 in the afternoon. The exhibition will be held until April 2, 2017. Participation at the exhibition is inseparable part of the competition.

 5/ Deadline for application is February 2, 2017.

6/ Winners will be awarded on Saturday March 4, 2017.

Saturday March 4: arrival of jury, evaluation of works by jury, showing for public,

Awarding winners, opening exhibition, social evening.

 Following activities

Works of participating schools will be exhibited at Center of Glass Art Gallery until April 2, 2017.
